It's a wonderful place, staffed by exceptional and special people. Incredible elements and flavor combinations are the best you could wish for. All these elements are brought to life by the heart and soul of the incredible and talented Chef and owner. He possesses an absolute, top-notch technique that allows him to craft ingredients like very few others, resulting in dishes that are beyond unique and incredibly flavorful. For the owner-chef, perfection is a fundamental concept, and he strives to surpass it, ALWAYS. The expertly crafted ingredients, beyond perfection, blend seamlessly with the highest-quality raw materials, used with incredible skill. The dishes intoxicate the palate and the senses...everything is a caress for the soul. The ingredients were cooked sublimely. A tip: Umbricoli with Reggiano and black truffle. I have NEVER eaten better Umbricoli in my life! Here, the cuisine and drink, rigorously traditional, are a true art, a journey through sight, smell, and taste, but above all through the feelings and emotions that the Chef, preparing dishes unlike any other, evokes in those who enjoy them. This wonderful place is pure, more than unique, talent. Emotions of the soul were enhanced by the smiles and infinite kindness of the wonderful Giulia, who manages the dining room service with extreme skill. Giulia's service is characterized by an above-average level of preparation, professionalism, kindness, courtesy, friendliness, and absolute precision. La Locanda del Tartufo is a continuous flow of flavors and emotions that begin with the consistency of the ingredients used and then culminate in the perfection of the evolution from the first bite. Two elements predominate: the preparation technique and the highest-quality raw materials. This quality standard allows the customer to fully enjoy the flavors. The ingredients are crucial in enhancing the flavors, which, in the mouth, appear clean and full-bodied, yet delicate and persistent. La Locanda del Tartufo is a place where time stands still and everything becomes a dream come true. The quality of the products is probably one of the three best I've ever experienced in my life. Everything that comes from the Chef's hands is impeccable, and you'll discover unique details you won't find anywhere else. Culatello...it's so delicious! I wish I could transport this place everywhere, along with those who are part of it, to make every moment unique and wonderful. Locanda del Tartufo in Gubbio is a real discovery. The rustic and welcoming atmosphere makes you feel instantly at home. The cuisine is traditional Umbrian, simple yet refined, with quality ingredients. Truffles are the star, used with balance and never overpowering the flavors. The appetizers, featuring cured meats, cheeses, and honey, are also excellent, and truly pair well. Generous portions, friendly service, and reasonable prices. Drawn by the quaint exterior, we entered and were immediately greeted with kindness and a warm smile. We ate inside (the room doesn't have many tables, but that only made the experience much more enjoyable). The food was excellent, with generous portions and super reasonable prices. They also have excellent vegetarian options. Highly recommended.

A typically rustic, local place. Excellent cured meats and cheeses. The truffle honey is top-notch. The truffle on the egg was not very fragrant. Overall, excellent value for money.

We visited this restaurant, which also sells traditional products, and I must say we had a great time. We ordered the €18 menu, which consisted of a superb platter of cured meats and cheeses, plus various bruschetta and honey, bean soup, and sausages with vegetables. Everything was delicious and plentiful. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

A very special, traditional restaurant in the heart of Gubbio. The food is excellent, even down to the smallest details, the service is fast, and the staff are incredibly friendly.
