Pleasant dishes for the context with adequate but not exorbitant prices.

05/04/2024: If possible, avoid it, as there are many other places where you can eat better.
Easter Monday, asked for among the few dishes on the menu: paccheri with seafood and cuttlefish, I was presented with a plate with paccheri, 4 small mussels and a handful of small clams with 2 rings, they seemed to have been cut with a slicer, however fine they were.
The wait was almost 1 hour. Avoid if you can!

04/11/2023: L'Ombra della Sera is certainly one of the best restaurants in Volterra and the surrounding area. I have been going there for 13 years and I guarantee you that it is worth it. The cuisine is traditional, with a touch of creativity. The dishes are well executed and presented with care. Truffle lovers, like myself, will find satisfaction with the excellent tagliolini with white or black truffle, the exquisite potato and truffle cream and many other proposals. There is obviously no shortage of mushrooms in season. On my last visit, for example, I enjoyed a remarkable salad of fresh porcini mushrooms.
The experience is completed by an attentive welcome without ever being cold and an always honest bill in terms of quality and price.
Definitely recommended address.
