19/07/2025: Ideale per una pausa prima o dopo la visita a Volterra locale tranquillo con una vista bellissima da qualsiasi tavolo, cucina tipica e parcheggio comodo. Siamo stati qui un sabato a pranzo l antipasto della casa e abbondante crostini ottimi. I ravioli al pomodoro sublimi. Posto incantevole
28/06/2025: La comida era excelente, la vista era magnífica, la factura era razonable, ... e incluso la música de fondo era buena (jazzy suave). ¡Una experiencia verdaderamente memorable!

25/09/2025: The food was quite tasty. Pizza and stuffed foccacia. Everything was served quickly. A carafe of red wine added to the Tuscan atmosphere. A fun way to flush the toilet ;-).

03/10/2025: Fantastic pizza! Worth a visit. I went back yesterday after six years. The pizza is still delicious. We also tried the carbonara, which was amazing. The house white wine was perfect. Very friendly service. When in Volterra, be sure to stop by for a bite to eat :)
03/09/2025: From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but once inside, it more than makes up for it. The pizza was very tasty, but the seafood spaghetti was worth a solid 10 stars. "Grandma" is a very good and flavorful cook. So, I'll go there again to try out the rest. I'm already looking forward to it.

05/10/2025: 3 very successful experiences in this bistro (at different times). Beyond the superb view outside (panoramic terrace), the atmosphere is very pleasant. The service is fast (even in the middle of August) and the staff friendly. We ate very well each time and the prices are reasonable for this very touristy village. We will return with great pleasure the next time we are in Volterra.

12/09/2025: A beautiful restaurant in a 16th-century building, stretching from the city center on Via Dei Sarti to the outer walls facing the Roman ruins. Over 300 square meters between the basement and outdoor terrace. Very good regional cuisine, excellent service. Fair prices.

04/09/2025: Beautiful seating area right near a good viewpoint. Fancy people watching? You got it. I tried a lobster linguine for the first time. It was beautifully cooked and fun to eat. The staff were very friendly. In the afternoon from 12ish it gets quite busy.
31/08/2025: My partner and I had lunch this afternoon at this restaurant just steps from the historic center of Volterra: Pici with Cacio e Pepe and Spaghetti alla Carbonara were truly EXCEPTIONAL!!! Furthermore, the owner, his wife, and all the staff are very professional and friendly.

26/09/2025: Had a caprese with tomato and mozzarella. That was as good as you could expect. My wife had a (rather strange) thick crusted pizza with tomato sauce, uncooked prosciutto on top- no cheese. Tasted okay, but the question is HOW?
HOW do you make cacio e pepe Bland??
The only thing I can think of is if you used the wrong kind of cheese in the preparation.
Decent wait staff, decent vibe, but just weird food, and not that flavorful.
25/09/2025: Good pastry, waitresses who ignored us, despite our calls, it ruined what should have been a pleasant moment. On the other hand, the server was very friendly.

28/08/2025: The worst carbonara we've ever had was simply pasta with scrambled eggs. All the dishes were bland, completely unseasoned, and tasteless. Only the pizza was good, the only dish worth recommending. The service was very average; I wouldn't recommend it.
28/08/2025: Dishes that allow you to savor the quality of local produce, personalized service, magnificent hospitality, and Massimo's attentiveness. Highly recommended.

25/08/2025: It's rare for me to leave super-positive reviews, but Bettola has a lovely atmosphere, good pizza, and a professional waiter. We'll always be happy to return.
12/07/2025: I didn't really like the pizza, but I did like the rest... the meatballs and frese were delicious! 5 stars to the young waiter who arrived whatever I asked for in a flash! (For example, water for the dog or help warming the bottle!) The terrace was beautiful.

We had the risotto with porcini mushrooms and the beef with black truffle sauce. Absolutely great value for the quality!!!
It's a shame we were only here for a day trip.

Comfortable, clean rooms, tastefully furnished. Friendly and helpful staff are always ready to make you feel at home. The restaurant offers traditional dishes prepared with quality ingredients. A stay that combines relaxation, good food, and unforgettable scenery.
20/08/2025: They made us spend 15 euros to stay in the outdoor pool, and that's fine, but the pool was dirty and unkept, with a broken floor! We then stayed to eat... inedible pici, but even though I pointed out that they were full of pepper, they didn't even ask if I wanted anything else, or they didn't apply a discount since I didn't eat.
