01/06/2026: I didn't know a large coffee could cost €4.00. Foreign staff who don't speak Italian. They didn't even issue a receipt! Paid based on a pre-bill... I realized it too late, otherwise I would have forced them to issue one!

31/05/2026: Disappointing experience. We're in Italy, and none of the staff spoke Italian, making it very difficult to even order because the waiter couldn't understand our requests. The food was average, nothing special or noteworthy. The worst part came when we got the bill: the owner, who also didn't speak Italian, split the total incorrectly, overcharging us, calculating the division by 6 people instead of 7. Nora, positive, beautiful location. Overall, a negative experience. We won't be returning.

We had excellent coffee and truly delicious pastries. The highlight was the outdoor table: very charming, with a splendid view of the characteristic streets of Volterra's historic center, ideal for sitting, relaxing, and even smoking a cigarette outside. The only downside was the service. The waitress seemed decidedly exhausted and tired of the constant flow of tourists, serving us in a very cold, hasty, and distracted manner, interrupting our order to collect the payment of other customers in the middle. Local Guide's verdict: The quality of the coffee and pastries is unquestionable, and the location is very charming for an outdoor stop. If you're looking for warm and welcoming service, you might be disappointed, but for a quick break with a view, it's a good place. Three/four stars. ⭐⭐⭐❤️❤️❤️

13/03/2026: We stopped for a quick bite to eat in the afternoon after a long day of sightseeing. We found the atmosphere to be familiar and welcoming. The owners are very kind and also love animals; they complimented our dogs so much, and we really appreciated it.

03/05/2026: The food was good, but unfortunately the service was very disappointing. Out of the six dishes we ordered, four were brought incorrectly. In addition, the service was extremely slow throughout the lunch, although the restaurant was half empty.

04/04/2026: It was a truly fantastic meal. The whole family was delighted with the quality of the food. The waiters were also very friendly and welcoming, explaining all the restaurant's specialties. The menu includes typical dishes not found elsewhere. The sweet and spicy wild boar was superb!! We highly recommend it!!!

02/04/2026: I was out with my girlfriend, riding my motorcycle, and we chose this place to eat because it was close to where we'd parked our bike. The place is very welcoming, with an old-fashioned style that fits in well with the town. The waiter was very kind in explaining the tavern's typical and unique dishes and wines, which are what we ordered, and we didn't regret it. Terrine as an appetizer, along with fried artichokes, followed by Etruscan-style pici and sweet and sour wild boar—unusual dishes that absolutely must be tried. If you're passing through Volterra, I recommend stopping by. Since it's a unique menu, it's a little more expensive than usual, but that's to be expected, and it's worth it.

10/06/2026: This tiny pizzeria has been around since I was little, with a uniquely flavorful dough, and after more than 40 years, nothing has changed. Excellent pizza, kind and friendly owners. For us, it's a world heritage site.

30/04/2026: I stayed in this wonderful village with a pool, a magical place for the peace and tranquility it offers. It offers a terrace with breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside, where you can enjoy high-quality vegetarian and vegan dishes. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

09/05/2026: A quaint stone restaurant. I ordered fried meat, and I must say, unfortunately, that the dish was inedible. The pieces of meat, although quite good, were too large and poorly fried. A dish that needs reconsidering. My wife ordered an octopus burger with fries. The fries were all burnt and cold. Inedible. The dessert was good.

08/04/2026: Warm welcome, perfect service, and attention to detail. Excellent food, Tuscan ingredients and products. The location is unique, in an old building with just a few tables, which makes it even more special! Top.

08/06/2026: Scandalous place, pointless servers, overcooked meat, in burnt oil. Brutally bad.

07/06/2026: The service was smooth and fast. But the food portions could be bigger and tastier. The place has no atmosphere at all. Could use some music. The toilets are in a pretty secluded place. Not worth €60.

02/06/2026: We came here for a spontaneous lunch and were warmly welcomed by the owner, who personally showed us to our table. We shared an antipasti and a primo pasta dish, and both were absolutely delicious and clearly prepared with great care. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly throughout our visit. There was a small mistake on the bill, but it was corrected immediately once we pointed it out. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily recommend this place. We’d definitely dine here again.

31/05/2026: One of our best restaurant experiences in Tuscany! We stopped here for lunch and had a good time. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional attentive, friendly and welcoming without ever being intrusive.
