18/04/2026: This has become our favorite place to take friends to eat when they come to Volterra. The 360 views are absolutely magnificent. Wonderful lunch with seasonal dishes. Owners and staff are very nice and extremely accommodating if someone in your group has dietary restrictions. Recommend you call ahead to reserve.

13/03/2026: We stopped for a quick bite to eat in the afternoon after a long day of sightseeing. We found the atmosphere to be familiar and welcoming. The owners are very kind and also love animals; they complimented our dogs so much, and we really appreciated it.

26/07/2026: Nice place for drinks and maybe some dessert. However the staff can not hide their expressions when they talk about their customers' orders and they even comment out loud what the customers are doing. They obviously forget that their language comes from latin, so there are many people who actually understand what they are saying. Would be nice if the staff was more discreet.
24/07/2026: We had the bread platter (one is enough for two people), an Aperol Spritz, and an espresso. Highly recommended.
Very friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere.

07/06/2026: The service was smooth and fast. But the food portions could be bigger and tastier. The place has no atmosphere at all. Could use some music. The toilets are in a pretty secluded place. Not worth €60.

06/07/2026: The pizza is quite unique... greasy and thin... completely different from what they serve in fancy pizzerias, but eating it made me feel like I was transported back in time to mid-20th-century Italy, and that this was the kind of pizza Italian workers ate. 😉 The owners were incredibly nice, and the place had a great homey atmosphere.
18/06/2026: No nonsence accomodation: nothing special at first, but we ate the best pizza's ever. Very kind owners.

09/05/2026: A quaint stone restaurant. I ordered fried meat, and I must say, unfortunately, that the dish was inedible. The pieces of meat, although quite good, were too large and poorly fried. A dish that needs reconsidering. My wife ordered an octopus burger with fries. The fries were all burnt and cold. Inedible. The dessert was good.
08/04/2026: Warm welcome, perfect service, and attention to detail. Excellent food, Tuscan ingredients and products. The location is unique, in an old building with just a few tables, which makes it even more special! Top.

04/08/2026: There were four of us and they made room for us on the terrace, even though it was full. Very friendly, good service. The pizzas and calzones are average. It was August and it was very hot inside. Very good price.
