30/12/2025: Strolling through the streets of Volterra around lunchtime, we decided to stop at this fishmonger's and eatery, tempted by the menu: hot and cold appetizers (shrimp with cream), snapper with clams and artichokes, spaghetti with clams, mussels, and fried fish... Inside, past the fishmonger's counter, there are a few tables where you can have lunch. The courteous and attentive staff served us memorable dishes. The spaghetti with clams was amazing, the fried calamari and cod was melt-in-your-mouth and just the right amount of salt, and last but not least, the inevitable cantucci (delicious and flavored with orange) with Vin Santo. It was a lunch that made our experience in the enchanting village of Volterra even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

04/10/2025: It was a very nice stay. Our little dog ran around with the other dogs, alongside goats, a cat, and a peacock. The apartment was nicely furnished. The surroundings were beautiful, with a magnificent view. If we're ever in the area again, we'd definitely stop by again.

10/10/2025: Wauw this place is incredible. I love how the rooms are, very colorful! Also there is a big swimming pool and you are surrounded by the beautiful nature of Tuscany. The views are amazing. Very sweet people and good food! Would definitely recommend this place! Will come back next year!

30/10/2025: Truly Exceptional – Warm People, Beautiful Setting, and the Best Lasagna I’ve Ever Had We had an absolutely wonderful meal at Ristorante Etruria in Volterra. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and kindness. They immediately brought out a bowl of water for our French bulldog, Luigi, and treated him as if he were their own. It set the tone for what turned out to be one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had in Italy. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful inside – classic Tuscan charm with elegant stone arches, warm lighting, and tasteful décor that feels both refined and welcoming. You can tell it’s a place that takes pride in its history and hospitality. I ordered the lasagna, and it was simply perfect — rich, delicate layers, full of flavor, and perfectly balanced. Honestly, it was as good as the best I’ve ever had anywhere in my life. My wife had the tagliatelle al ragù, and it was every bit a 10 out of 10 — silky fresh pasta, a sauce bursting with depth and authenticity. The service was exceptional throughout — attentive without being intrusive, and filled with genuine smiles. What made it even more special was that the owner personally followed us out as we were leaving to thank us after we told him how much we loved the meal. That kind of heartfelt appreciation is rare and unforgettable. Everything — from the food and wine to the atmosphere and hospitality — was pure Tuscany at its finest. If you find yourself in Volterra, do yourself a favor and make this your meal stop. You’ll leave full, happy, and feeling like family.

26/10/2025: We had lunch with friends at this restaurant and had a really good time. The appetizer was delicious, and the pici with ragù were incredible. They also have a gluten-free menu, which was much appreciated. The desserts were excellent, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. A place where you can eat really well and have a great time!

28/02/2026: Terrible. The food is terrible: pizzas that aren't real pizzas, but taste like they're frozen. An appetizer for five people cost us €12 per person: two half slices of salami, a few pieces of cheese, and two raw zucchini. Disgusting. We paid as much as we would for a steak. Never again. Close down!

19/02/2026: We loved it! Rainy Wednesday night in winter and this was perfect. Lovely service wine without ridiculous markups and the food was authentic. Tuscan pate, homemade tortellini and a delicious desert. Very happy with our choice. I don’t recognize the negative reviews here at all.
