30/08/2025: Inn in the Tuscan hills, the only shame was the room without air conditioning, it was scorching hot, excellent dinner, friendly staff.

30/08/2025: I stayed there during a long motorcycle trip through Tuscany...the location in the hills is fantastic, a rustic and welcoming structure. The owner is kind and helpful. Excellent price. Highly recommended!!!

16/08/2025: Typical restaurant, excellent food prepared with care. Friendly and efficient staff; they even served a bowl of water for our dog with our drinks, a thoughtful gesture especially given the heat these days. The price is in line with the dishes we sampled. If you're looking for a restaurant where you can sample Tuscan cuisine, this is the ideal place.

25/07/2025: At first, this restaurant seems a bit inconspicuous, and you risk walking right past it. However, you should avoid that at all costs, because the selection of fish dishes is simply phenomenal. I had the pasta with lobster and the tuna tartar and can highly recommend it to anyone. The service was also very friendly and attentive. If you enjoy fresh fish, you should definitely stop by this place during your visit to Volterra.

25/07/2025: We were greeted by a lively and polite staff. We enjoyed a brilliant tuna tartare and fantastic pasta dishes with lobster and vongole, topped off with an incredibly delicious tiramisu... Thank you for the wonderful lunch!

01/08/2025: We came here based on a recommendation. What a delight! Visually and gustatorily. We had a delicious appetizer platter for two, and the tagliatelle with rabbit ragu was delicious, and the steak was perfect. The service was very friendly. Thank you! 🤩

30/07/2025: Albana is a guarantee of good, carefully prepared cuisine. Excellent selection of matching wines. There are special evening events in the piazza; if you happen to dine there, the atmosphere is truly unique. Open year-round, it's worth traveling a few kilometers to dine here. A scenic drive and a charming, tidy village.

13/08/2025: A very welcoming owner: Gianluca offers excellent advice. The food: Volterrana-style tripe and pizzas are delicious. The terrace on Via dei Sarti is pleasant and quiet. This restaurant is worth a visit. The value for money is remarkable. If you're passing through Volterra, stop by Gianluca's! I highly recommend it!

16/08/2025: We received a very warm welcome. Having enjoyed excellent meals here over the past two years, expectations were high. As antipasti, we had the carpaccio. Mine was fine, but my wife's was cut far too thickly. The primi tortellini was fine, a little too al dente, but the flavor was good. The big disappointment was the secondi. My wife had the fish of the day, tuna. It was served on the plate wrapped in aluminum foil, then drizzled with a generous drizzle of olive oil. The tuna had no flavor. I had the cod, calamari, and shrimp tempura with seasonal vegetables and tartar sauce. To my great surprise, absolutely everything was fried in tempura, even the vegetables. I only ate a small amount because after a few bites, I was already exhausted. I told the friendly waitress that I didn't like it, and she said she would tell the chef. I heard nothing more. For dessert, I had the Mille Foglio. It consisted of puff pastry with vanilla sauce and a few strawberry slices. This isn't how I've had this dessert served at various restaurants before. All in all, a disappointment, as we've had much better food over the past two years. The €139 bill was absolutely not worth it. Unfortunately, we were expecting better.

12/05/2025: The fresh sandwiches and salads were so delicious. The staff are also friendly. The bathroom is also clean. I was able to enjoy it comfortably. I will definitely come back when I come to Volterra 😍

28/08/2025: The pappardelle with wild boar were delicious, the Tuscan platter was varied and generous, and the bread was excellent. Thanks for the complimentary coffee. Recommended.

22/06/2025: Waking up here for a week was the best choice we made for our holiday in Tuscany (would’ve stayed longer if we could!). The people working here are the sweetest. The food is great, and so nice to look over the typical Tuscan landscape while enjoying it. We loved the pool, plants, trees, birds and butterflies. It really has a relaxed atmosphere, felt at home rightaway. Thank you Eleonora, Paolo, Louise and all the others! You guys really make this place the best. PS: Don’t miss out on the pizza night on Tuesday!

23/07/2025: Visited on January 18, 2025. A small, quaint café opposite the theater. Friendly staff, easy to chat with. I ordered a cappuccino and a brioche, both delicious and very reasonably priced. If you're passing through Volterra, I recommend stopping by for breakfast!
