25/03/2024: Nice surprise, As always when you're passing through you enter with the question...did I choose well? Yes convinced!.. the family service with a desire for professionalism makes the stop pleasant. The kitchen too! The pici with herbs (I don't remember the name) and the wild boar with aftertastes to discover are fantastic. The price... the right one... if you want to spend little forget it. The management of intolerances needs to be improved (the will is there) Well done!

30/03/2024: About ten of us had dinner in this restaurant, I highly recommend the pici with pistachio, bacon, breadcrumbs and the steak melted in your mouth! Very good!

Circa 3 ore per un antipasto da autogrill e 1 primo ( pasta cotta bene ) pici al cinghiale, immaginate la peggiore salsetta da discount, alle nostre lamentele e educate domande sulla lunga attesa , la stessa ripetitiva e inaccettabile giustificazione: siete arrivati tutti insieme, abbiamo lasciato senza che arrivassero i secondi, forse è stato meglio.

26/03/2024: apart from the biblical delivery time of the food, a big problem is that they presented us with an overall bill for the table, even though we had asked to pay each person for themselves, given the large differences in price for each one. and even though we asked for it, they didn't give us the receipt.

24/02/2024: 2 tortini di funghi porcini con fonduta di pecorino. Arrivati due tortini palesemente scongelati nel microonde in quanto presentavano acquarella da dcongelamento e la fonduta in realtà era una poltriglia gialla non cremosa. 2 cacio e pepe pasta commerciale sugo nella norma. 1 caffè 69 euro. Siamo in centro a Volterra e va bene 69 euro potevano essere pure giusti ma se si vuole essere di livello anche i prodotti devono esserlo. Freschi e di qualità e non come quelli offerti.
Unica cosa di qualità il cameriere, elegante garbato e gentilissimo

28/09/2023: We passed it by chance and immediately found it quaint. Our decision to eat there that evening was absolutely the right one. The food was so delicious that we went out for dinner again the next evening. The antipasti, pizzas, pasta dishes and also the desserts were a dream. The house wine was very tasty and the entire service was just friendly, nice and helpful. Even if there are problems with communication, they remain friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back and can only recommend it to everyone. Better than in the city itself. Here a restaurant is still run with love.

01/04/2024: We stopped on Easter Monday, the pizza is good, the quality of the ingredients is excellent, the price is right for the area. The staff is helpful and efficient, fast service.
17/03/2024: An experience never to be repeated again. I ordered a takeaway pizza. The mozzarella had been going bad for a while and was dripping from the box. The pizza was inedible! He was too sour not to realize that they simply don't meet their expiration dates. Eating a very salty lemon would have been a more pleasant experience than taking a bite of that pizza, and let's not even talk about the semi-raw dough. If you're looking for a reason not to go to work, this restaurant is the fastest ticket to the nearest hospital

19/12/2023: Traumatic experience, as soon as they see you pass, the waiters wait for you with excessive salami, they practically grab you! For what then? Two plates of pici with sauce, a glass of white wine, two panna cotta, 72 euros? Are we kidding? ?? Just shame on you!!

02/12/2023: La cecina più buona e digeribile della Toscana! Premetto che amo la cecina ma in tutte le pizzerie Versiliesi mai trovata una cecina così bassa, ben cotta e digeribile! Vale la pena tornare a Volterra per mangiarla! Top! Simpaticissimo il proprietario! Grazie Laura e Alessandro
30/07/2023: Unfriendly and unprepared staff, no foreign language knowledge, avoid at any cost. I ordered two pizzas, and I was told that it will take 10 minutes until they are ready. They asked for upfront payment, of course. After 15 minutes of waiting I was told that it will be another 5 minutes. After 30 minutes I reminded one of the staff members who took my order that the wait takes longer than what was promised. The staff then got angry at me and talked over my head in Italian. I also felt some verbal aggression targeted at me, but as said, I can only assume because they talked in Italian. In the meantime they served pals of theirs instead of taking care of my order. After 40 minutes of waiting I was offered my money back or another 5 minutes waiting. As I lost lots of time already sitting in a their very bad and smelly environment instead of sightseeing with my kids, I said I’m fine with another 5 minutes. After 45 minutes of waiting time they started to bake my pizzas. The end result tasted OK, but definitely not worth the money or the time. Shame on the staff, will not return. Such place does not deserve a spot in in such a beautiful city centre.
