13/07/2024: Giulia and Maria have created a corner of Calabria in the Coltano pine forest. A simple and welcoming place that manages to make you feel at home with well-cooked dishes. The pizzas expertly cooked in a wood-fired oven are delicious. We also recommend the meat and desserts, which are strictly homemade. A little treat to try: Calabrian punch 🌶️

01/07/2024: We celebrated our baby's baptism here, a rustic place surrounded by the greenery of Coltano, very good homemade products and cuisine, the welcome and helpfulness of the landlady Maria was priceless!! I highly recommend!

18/08/2024: Service was nice and staff friendly. But the taste and quality of the food was below average. We had seven different meals: pizza, pasta, meat. Generally we all found, the food was far too fatty. For example the carbonara, the gnocchi with cheese and the pizza topping. My rabbit sauce papadelle were far to soft and I’m not sure if they were actually freshly mad. In my personal opinion the tasted heated up. The pizza was absolutely average. The dough bit hard and not fluffy at all. Unfortunately definitly no place which I can recommend for the food. But the Ambiente is very nice and they have a nice wine card.

17/08/2024: We entered without reading reviews because we came just at lunchtime and, once seated and reading the comments, we thought: what a mistake... But the truth is that it's not that bad. We are demanding when it comes to food and it is probably not the best you will try in Italy but it is all pretty good and the staff is super friendly. Yes, it looks like a place for tourists but, in my opinion, they make an effort and the value for money is very good. Gluten-free options and, if you like thin and crispy pizzas, they are much better than in other places that use a homemade but 3-finger dough.

18/03/2024: We were treated very badly by the waitress. We entered at 2.30pm asking if it was possible to eat something, there were also some pieces of pizza by the slice on the counter, those were enough for us too, but the lady behind the counter told us that the kitchen was closed. Then we left immediately apologizing. It must have been the tired faces of people who had just landed and were hungry, I don't know, but the waitress, a fairly young and dark-haired girl, who was busy eating while sitting down, shouted at us "look, it says on the door that we are closed, instead of make those faces next time read". We didn't make any faces and I suggest that we change waitresses and that she mind her own business because we didn't address her. If she kept quiet the matter would end there and she would make us look better, rude, grumpy and nosy!! I do not recommend!

Tagliata di manzo con funghi porcini crudi favolosa. Carta dei vini ampia e ben assortita . Personale gentile e professionale. Arianna una certezza …. A presto

08/08/2024: What a dirty restaurant, we only had a drink, even the coke glasses had a dirty deposit on them. If you don't want to get sick, drive on, they only have pasta with a sauce for Vega. Owner looks very unkempt and had a shirt on full of stains. He was also very unfriendly.

30/07/2024: We were 12 people eating here, booked a head. Very nice restaurant, closed to the road. I recommend the antipasti, one of the best I tried both the cuts and bruschetta!!. And for primi take the pasta Portofino. The best desert they have is tiramisu. Don't miss this place. We had to go back a few days after and I can really recommend the wild boar, very tender and tasty. The owner is friendly and helpful.

06/08/2024: It’s hard to find well rated places in Tirrenia. We have had to just give places a try and hope for the best. This was a pleasant surprise. The service was top notch. He treated us well even though we are English speakers and not Italian. The prices are very fair. Loved my seafood risotto. The wine was surprisingly good. You can tell they really try with the presentation and overall decoration. Really had a good meal and glad I gave this place a try.

07/08/2024: I can express an opinion both as a guest and as a presumed Collaborator, who can be of help to other people. As you can see, the structure is truly out of this world and immersed in the Maremma, and at first glance, especially in the evening, it is very scenic. With the light of day you begin to notice the first flaws of a somewhat neglected structure, broken objects and unused scrap hidden here and there. The lack of staff and a permanent maintenance technician can also be perceived from all the reviews and I can only confirm this, from a sense of abandonment as the structure being very large, there cannot be a maintenance technician for half an hour in the evening just for the pool cleaning! Guests constantly complain about problems with air conditioning malfunctioning, bed frames collapsing, and many other inconveniences that can occur, which is why a permanent maintenance technician is a must. In such a large, extensive complex, the staff is from a small pension! At the reception two kids who, although good, still lack experience. There is no Head of Reception, no Director PRESENT. There is only one waiter in the restaurant as I was told that all the others have abandoned. In the pool area, apart from the bartender, there is no other staff, in the truly beautiful mega wellness center, one person. It's a shame because by investing, paying the few employees the right amount and not squeezing them every single day for 12/13 hours without being paid, this structure could give a lot. My figure would have to arrive at the facility, reorganize it, replace the director and push sales, also working uninterruptedly from morning to evening. I was contacted by the company, we found an agreement, I was working in Puglia, stressed by the urgency of the structure, I traveled almost 700km with various problems and many expenses, I arrived at the structure at dinner time, no one was waiting for me except the very kind girl at the reception , Rachele, who accompanies me to visit the facility. Let me start by saying that there wasn't even a pillow in the bed in my room, I also immediately communicated this to the Director that I absolutely need it since I suffer from cervical pain, but nothing, for 3 nights there were no pillows, not even a shadow and a rude cleaning lady he replies that there are none! In the following 2 days I felt very bad thanks to this lack, in the meantime I continue to ask for my contract given the precedents and the different ideas about my position between the Director with whom I have always spoken and the owner but nothing, the phantom contract is not possible see! On the 7th day, after I had given the ultimatum the previous day, this contract doesn't come up but... they tell me I'm hired! (???) I enter my INPS file and contact INPS who obviously tells me that there is no hiring underway! At that point I ask for AT LEAST A TRIP REFUND (even though in reality I should also have the week I lost because of them!) which at the moment I am denied, with the promise of a bank transfer... that was not the case! I believe that after all this mockery it is time to get the workers involved, also out of respect for the other workers. N.B. do you understand why there is no staff?! It's one thing to work under a contract and work overtime, it's another to be used and made fun of!

04/08/2024: We stayed two nights. Friendly welcome, as usual. Clean and nice standard room, nothing to complain about. We didn't try the spa and pool Super negative restaurant note: The two people in the room seemed to have never done this job, incapable, confusing and presumptuous. Embarrassing value for money. I understand the lack of staff as I also have a company, but they are unjustifiable like this. I recommend staying for 1/2 day but forget the restaurant!!!!
