16/05/2026: The crowds during mealtime were more frequent than I expected. Every dish I ordered today was delicious! I even used the cod sauce to spread on bread and ate it all up.

20/08/2026: Today, August 20, 2026, he says, "Let's go for a walk, have breakfast there, then have two sandwiches made for lunch because I can't spend €100 on lunch." We arrive, and I'd have to pay €14 to get in? Really? If I were to camp and have a barbecue, I could even stay there, but for a couple of hours, breakfast, maybe a sandwich, that is, paying for food... -IT'S NOT A SHELTER WITH SUPPLY PROBLEMS -IT'S NOTHING SPECIAL IN QUALITY DESPITE THE PRICES AND PLATING -IT WOULD BE A WOODLAND -TABLES WITH BENCHES AND ONLY THE GOOD ONES IN FRONT OF THE RESTAURANT; THE OTHER TABLES ARE THE RUINS OF THE OLD ONES BUT €14 FOR WHAT? Okay, you'll have a different target audience. It's obvious that only princes and entrepreneurs visit you, thanks anyway. Previous experience 08/27/25 Tables set with sheets of paper and thumbtacks. We ordered two tortelli with meat sauce, then one mixed grill and one potato chip, because the prices were a bit out of line with the environment. We each received about nine tortelli, then bones that looked like ribs, one sausage, and one piece of chicken. The chips were also poor. And I'm saying that for one person, eh... I'm attaching a photo, anyway. All this, with a half liter of wine and coffee for €63.90, discounted to €60. We weren't told why, but we did form an opinion. We got up hungry, but honestly, happy because if we'd ordered more and received more of these portions at those prices, we would have been even more disappointed. The plates, as tableware, are even too big for three bones and a sausage. We're WILLING to pay those prices, but it has to be worth it. The place is absolutely not worth the prices, and I understand why someone might sit down hungry because they've been walking a long way and are ready for anything. That's my opinion.

20/01/2026: Best hotel for a winter visit. Warm rooms heated with geothermic power. The whole hotel is a cocoon of warmth and comfort no matter what the temperature outside. Breakfasts are simple but with home made nonna's style cakes. Well priced.

A truly beautiful outdoor venue, surrounded by greenery and just steps from the sea, where you can immediately feel the relaxed yet energetic atmosphere. The venue is well-organized, with large spaces, good music, and a crowd always ready to have fun. Evenings here always have a special energy, with lights, DJ sets, and a great desire to be together. A perfect place for those who want to experience a summer night of music, fun, and the unique atmosphere of Tirrenia. 🌴🎶✨

02/09/2025: Arrived late at a nearby hotel and Googled this restaurant that is closest and reviewed to serve good food with reasonable price. The seats outside were reserved so we had to sit inside. The waiter doesn't understand English but when I asked about WiFi he gave me their password which I used for translating the menu so we could order. Busy as he was by himself the young waiter was able to graciously serve the sudden crowd from the hotel. The food was the best I had so far halfway this tour from France, Spain and Italy going forward.

31/07/2025: So... When we arrived, the waiter asked if we had a reservation... The restaurant was empty, though... He agreed to set a table for us... We left, and it was still empty... No drinks or wine menu... The waiter didn't know what to serve or the prices... He was barely pleasant... In fact, he was unpleasant... The pasta wasn't great and was too salty... Absolutely no interest.

22/03/2026: I stopped in at this restaurant today for an expresso. It wasn't a bar/cafe so they don't serve drinks without a food order. The gentleman saw the disappointment on my face and said, "ok, I'll make you one". He made this Canadian's day. Such kindness was very much appreciated by this lass!

28/02/2026: February 2026: Best pizza in Volterra. Crowded with locals who grew up with pizza. Interesting menu with many, many different interesting pizzas (none with pinepple and/or french fries). Moderate prices, friendly service.

08/07/2026: We were out to eat and asked for slices of pizza. Seeing that they didn't have many pieces on the counter, we asked if they were preparing new ones, but they told us no. While we were eating the pieces they had, the customers who came immediately after were served new pizza, which was very disrespectful because they could have simply told us to wait.

16/06/2026: Overall, it makes a good pizza with a nice variety of toppings. It's a pizza that's not heavy and doesn't cause acid reflux. I still recommend it.

23/07/2026: The place is very nice, well-kept, and clean, with outdoor seating... The food is truly excellent, healthy and easy to digest. 👍 The pizza 🍕 is definitely worth trying: fantastic!

08/04/2026: Both the Neapolitan-style pizza and the fried food are excellent. The atmosphere is quiet and the owners are friendly. There's parking across the street.

10/07/2026: always for a Bersaglieri gathering in Pontedera in the morning we went to this pastry shop a few kilometers from our resilience for breakfast we found a welcoming atmosphere, very high quality of products especially the pastry shop was really good especially croissants and extremely tasty, where you can feel that the attention to raw materials and ingredients is very high

30/06/2026: The owner was arrogant and rude. He complained about eating at the counter even though I hadn't made a mess. There are ways to say things. He had zero customer service. I recommend changing jobs. You won't see me again. I strongly advise against it.

08/12/2025: Nice club, lots of cultural events. Bar, excellent breakfasts, aperitifs, quick meals, sandwiches, and pizza (pizza only on weekends), fair prices, friendly and professional staff... except for the bartender Dos Marcos: do everything for him, but don't forget to make a reservation for dinner, otherwise it becomes a real beast!
