23/11/2025: For years now, Albergo e Ristorante da Mauro has been an absolute guarantee. For us, the best steak ever is served here, cooked in the open fireplace in the main dining room: sublime, tender, and with a unique flavor. We always accompany it with their excellent baked potatoes, simply perfect. This time we split a mixed antipasto between two people because we wanted to focus primarily on the meat, but it's worth saying that all the dishes on the menu are excellent. The appetizers are never boring, the first courses are always carefully crafted—try the tonnarelli served directly in the cheese wheel, truly special—and every course reflects the passion and quality they put into their work. It's a place we return to often because it never disappoints. 5 well-deserved stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

16/11/2025: I returned to Trillo curious to see if my previous experience was an isolated incident. Unfortunately, it wasn't! The restaurant bills itself as a high-end establishment, with an average bill of €70-80 per person, but what's served—both in terms of dishes and service—doesn't reach the "fine dining" standards that such a price should guarantee. Only one waiter per table, bringing two dishes at a time, a confusing appetizer, a seafood tagliolini that was actually linguine, and incredibly salty! A salted caramel for dessert, whose name at least matched its content: salty, more than you'd expect from a dessert. The table setting is meticulously designed, and even the different types of bread are commendable... but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. I have to be honest, the outdoor location is very charming and certainly fantastic in the summer, but I don't think I'll repeat the experience: my stomach will thank me. I would also recommend a revamp of the website, a bit too Lavacchio style!

08/12/2025: Two charming twins welcomed us to the osteria: one in the dining room and the other in the kitchen. Extremely knowledgeable about food and wine, they recommended one dish more delicious than the next! Testaroli with basil pesto and fabulous walnut cream, delicate yet "porcella" porchetta accompanied by a truly bold Tropea red onion and spicy pork hock. A young Trebbio red with cherry notes perfectly contrasted the dishes. Kindly offered by the house, the amaro with cinchona and bitter orange finished off the meal in style. Well done, guys! See you on your next trip to Tuscany...

From testaroli with pesto to herb tortelli, to artisanal desserts like tiramisu and cheesecake, every bite is a journey through the authentic flavors of Lunigiana. But what truly makes this restaurant special isn't just the exceptional quality of the ingredients or the meticulous attention to preparation: it's the atmosphere. The credit goes to a young, close-knit, and incredibly courteous team, led by twins who seem to have stepped out of a gastronomic fairytale. With a constant smile and impeccable professionalism, they make every guest feel at home, pampered, and listened to. It's much more than a restaurant: it's a small temple of flavor and hospitality.

12/10/2025: It's been years since I've been back, but they're always top-notch. Sincere compliments. The food is like it used to be, the atmosphere is honest, the service is exceptionally friendly, and they even let my dog ​​in despite the ban. The tagliatelle with mushrooms are excellent, the fried lamb and goat are excellent. These places are sacred and must be preserved. ⭐⭐⭐⭐👍

11/10/2025: Spotlessly clean, spacious, extremely friendly staff, and excellent, plentiful cuisine. Located near Cerreto Laghi, I'd say it's a must-visit if you want good food at more than fair prices. Ample parking. Upon returning a month later, my first impressions were more than confirmed. Domenico's professionalism and courtesy in serving are exceptional qualities that make you regret leaving; the home-cooked cuisine remains superb.

The lunch was superb, excellent dishes cooked with love, excellent service with the staff always ready and willing, fair prices! The price was adequate for the quality offered and still reasonable in absolute terms. The restaurant is located in the narrow streets of a small medieval village, but it still has ample and convenient parking. The premises are spacious and well-maintained.
