11/08/2024: Memories from 12 years ago were refreshed. The little shop was still there :) definitely recommended for a little detour, the little hidden gem.

10/08/2024: Yesterday we discovered this really cute little place. Let's start with the MERAVIGLIOSO name. After visiting the Fantiscrive quarry we stopped in Colonnata to taste the real Lardo. Informed little place, with a beautiful play list. Starter with two types of vegetable flan, then seasoned peppers, beans and cabbage. The plate of cured meats arrives with his majesty's Colonnata lard in the centre, accompanied by pecorino with pears, bread and sgabei (fried bread dough), all really good. Plus water, sweet wine and coffee. The owner, the cook and the waiter were super nice. Well done, well done.

06/08/2024: I would say the cuisine is of a good standard, perhaps the menu on offer is too large, the cuisine and service are slow.

06/08/2024: A beautiful and elegant place where you can enjoy chic, local food revisited in a modern way. Excellent location that offers a beautiful terrace with a very charming lemon pergola. A fresh and clean place, where you are served by a parterre of very courteous and kind waiters. You feel at home.... wonderful experience every time... rating... 10++++

31/07/2024: Il miglior agriturismo della lunigiana . Bello il locale ben organizzato in tutto , cucina di ottima qualità servizio e prezzi adeguati alla struttura

28/07/2024: Qualità e servizio eccellenti, gentili ospitali Noi siamo arrivati con un camper abbiamo parcheggiato adiacente al ristorante. Ottima qualità prezzo. Ci ritorneremo senz'altro.

24/08/2024: Found by chance on a special page on the internet, first time I've been there and, honestly, pleasantly surprised. Place run by a young couple with Alessio the handyman in the dining room and Eleonora in the kitchen. Small and welcoming place even if, on the outside, it leaves some small doubts (an exterior with more visibility is recommended) but those who know it willingly enter. Which I will definitely do as soon as I get back to it. I would have liked to try their appetizers, which was impossible due to my wife's food allergy. Obviously it's not their fault. Well done. I'll reserve the fourth star for when I return.

23/08/2024: There were 3 of us for dinner. Simple place, very kind owner. Fast and courteous service. Menu with few but excellent courses. Superlative tordelli with ragu, very good gnocchi with scampi sauce, with generous portions. Fried calamari and prawns with aubergines and courgettes, excellent. We tried the tiramisu, spectacular. Excellent value for money, the digestives they produce were also excellent. Small place but where you feel really good. Highly recommended. Well done guys, congratulations😀

12/08/2024: We were crossing by and accidentally stopped by because we were hungry, so glad we did that. Everything was perfect, from food to service from very friendly lady. They can make pizza however you want, we don’t eat pork, they made it with tuna! Perfectly! 🥰🍀

12/08/2024: I walked here from Canterbury, crossing the Italian border in the Alps. This is comfortably the best pizza I have had in Italy, and I’ve had 400km to test that. If you’re in Aulla, you must try it.

24/08/2024: Conosco questo Ristorante da Trent'anni, è sempre stato il Top per me e per la mia famiglia. I miei figli ci vanno più volte l'anno.E si trovano ancora bene. Io ci vado una/due volte l' anno. Purtroppo devo dire che è molto cambiato.... La carne ,il barbecue è ancora il Top... Inoltre tanta stima per il proprietario Roberto che a distanza di anni lo vedo ancora lavorare in sala. Purtroppo la cucina è un po' cambiata.... Noto degli esperimenti mal riusciti.... Quest'anno a pranzo di Ferragosto mi ritrovo ancora i tortelli di magro sopra un letto di crema allo zafferano. I tortelli di magro sono buonissimi ma hanno un sapore delicato che stona con lo zafferano,che con il suo sapore copre il gusto dei tortelli. Per me questo è un errore grandissimo e risulta essere un piatto discordante. Anziché esaltarne il sapore . A questo punto li avrei gustati con burro e salvia,che è la sua morte. Ma non finisce qui... Arrivano i gnocchetti verdi ( buonissimi) con crema al formaggio e indovinate? Glassa nera( credo al balsamico) e alici. Ma come si fa ad abbinare le alici con il formaggio ( credo Zola)????? Mi spiace ma al primo morso credevo di vomitare... Io non capisco l ostentare un innovazione che non sta in piedi ma che anzi non fa che ROVINARE materie prime e rischia di perdere i clienti. Le creme e le cremine messe alla c.....o non ti fanno essere uno chef! Soprattutto se lo chef non ha ne naso e ne palato,a questo punto. Meglio fare piatti tradizionali,che la materia prima di qualità non vi manca piuttosto che strafare con esperimenti improvvisati della quale non siete all'altezza. Gli anni passati quando in cucina c'era un altro cuoco c'erano piatti che erano uno spettacolo!!!! Funghi , tanti!!!! e cucinati esaltandone il sapore I primi anche .. I contorni.... Eta tutto bene curato e abbinato bene!!! Ora vedo una cucina improvvisata male Anche i tonnarelli così tanto pubblicizzati,io gli ho provati... Ma non saprei definirli...alla fine è della pasta con una crema di formaggio e nemmeno tanto saporito.... Mi spiace tantissimo perché ero affezionata a questo Ristorante.... Cmq nel pranzo il secondo era una costata alla griglia, buonissima... niente da dire Il contorno patate al forno,buone. Peccato che però era più rosmarino che patate Non si può mangiare un pezzo di patata e sentire in bocca legnetti del rosmarino dai!!! C'era più rosmarino che patate. Sull'antipasto stendiamo un velo pietoso....; Tante miniporzioni con sapori non definiti e senza senso.... Forse l'unica cosa che ho gradito è stato il dolce Veramente ottimo. Anche gli altri anni il dolce Ottimo! E i camerieri sempre molto gentili Bravi!

19/08/2024: Since I discovered this place, my husband and I have been regular customers. The pizzas and focaccias are excellent. Excellent dough with always fresh and quality ingredients. The fried fish and mussels marinara are also excellent. Friendly and timely service. Absolutely recommended!!!

14/05/2024: Great variety of products, all excellent. Ever since it opened, I have considered it one of the best pastry shops in Massa. The breakfast pastries are large and well filled. Only note: I would tidy up the room, the cups, the furniture, all things that have been ruined with the passage of time and the flow of customers.

17/08/2024: I stayed in this hotel for a week and had a great time. I found everything excellent. Maria Cristina (owner) is a very professional and humble person. We appreciated everything from the cleanliness of the rooms which were cleaned every day. The breakfast was very abundant and varied with excellent sweets and savory dishes. The restaurant was open both for us who were sleeping there and for external people. We ate very well from the appetizers... to the first courses.... second courses.... and desserts. The cuisine is typical of the area and homemade. To the CHAPEAU cooks. Externally there is a green space, a swimming pool and Jacuzzi with deckchairs, chairs and tables. The hotel is located along the road, has parking and the rooms are internal with windows and windows which are excellent because you don't hear any noise. Some rooms have a terrace and air conditioning. In short, what can I say, Cristina and her husband and all the people who work there are really very helpful, polite, humble and care a lot about their customers. They recommended beautiful places to visit. I found so much Sacred and so much history in these places. The Apuan Alps are beautiful, Lunigiana and Garfagnana ❤️ Cerreto Fivizzano Pontremoli Equi Terme Castiglione della Garfagnana and many other villages, castles, caves and churches. There are many lakes and rivers and wonderful rock pools. Oh my goodness we found some amazing breathtaking views. Highly recommended for a 360 degree holiday

11/08/2024: I rarely give 5 stars to places, but this one deserves them all. Delicious food, fast service and super friendly staff. Very clean and welcoming place, crazy view of the Magra and Monte Marcello, up to the tip of Viareggio. Very positive experience and not too expensive, highly recommended.
