29/06/2026: Decent food, total lack of empathy from the owners, very expensive water. The only positive notes: relaxing outdoor setting, lack of phone signal and the very kind and friendly waitress.

12/06/2026: After a hike in the Monte Altissimo area, we stopped for lunch at Rifugio Le Giobe and were truly satisfied. We started with a perfectly prepared giardiniera (fresh pickled vegetables) and polenta crostini with a truly excellent tomato and mushroom sauce, simple yet full of flavor. For our first course, we had tagliatelle with game, rich and well-seasoned, and for our second course, stewed venison, which was tender, flavorful, and cooked with great care. With drinks, a amaro (a bitter aftertaste), and even a portion of giardiniera to take away, we spent €88 for two. Considering the quality of the food, the portions, and the location of the refuge, the value for money was excellent. You don't come here for the spectacular cuisine or to take photos for social media: you come to eat well, with local products, mountain recipes made with passion, and a genuine atmosphere that is becoming increasingly rare. If you're passing through Monte Altissimo, it's definitely worth a stop. I'll gladly return.

06/05/2026: Really terrible management. I've been a customer at this restaurant many times, but last year was a terrible experience. There were four of us: me, my mom, my best friend Giulia, and her mom. Giulia and I had our pizzas taken away because they were too burned, but the worst problem was that the pizza chef refused to remake them, so we were both left with almost no dinner, only surviving on a few slices of the other two pizzas our mothers had ordered. That restaurant was truly terrible, and I will avoid it 100% this year. I'm surprised they're still open.

22/02/2026: Unfortunately, the ice cream tasted like nothing. I honestly wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend it...

14/11/2025: The restaurant enjoys a charming natural setting just steps from the lake. However, in my opinion, the interior, especially the terrace, could use a makeover. I also didn't find the food to my liking, as it was far too salty. We ordered mushroom fettuccine for four, and everyone at the table agreed. The staff was unwilling to replace the dishes, claiming they were incorrect without further explanation. Therefore, I can't say I had a good experience.

28/09/2025: The owner is a rude person who, without knowing us and only by phone after having paid for the overnight stay without a refund, sent my husband "fuck you" in exact words, screaming and saying to never contact him again. A real villain, I strongly advise against it! I WOULD REMOVE HIM FROM ALL SITES as well as REMOVE THEIR LICENSE. We are forced to put a star otherwise the review will not be published. Other than stars, STABLE

06/07/2026: Besides not having bufala for pizza and not making a small one for a kid, the pizza itself was worthy of being made by an alien who doesn't know that Italy exists. Possibly worse than the frozen ones from the supermarket. The place is in the main square so naturally the atmosphere is nice, but other than that you can simply walk past it and choose another spot. Went there for dinner on a busy night even though I knew already it wasn't going to be great since most of the tables were empty. Pizza was €13 Coperto €4 (without bread nor grissini) and sodas €7 each (yes seven). Some things in the world have an expensive price for a reason, others should just stay in their lane and avoid making bad impressions that lead to reviews like this.

04/07/2026: Lovely bar in the centre of Forte dei Marmi. The only thing I didn't like was the waiter who asked to pay when he served breakfast.

03/01/2026: A Nutella affogato for 7.50 that had absolutely nothing in it, neither affogato nor Nutella. You're lucky you live off tourism; in another world, you would have closed down a long time ago.

26/12/2025: The service wasn't great, and the prices didn't match the price tag. I ordered a cup of two flavors, which on the price tag was €3.50. They served me the ice cream with just two scoops, then added the wafer I hadn't ordered, and asked me to pay €4.50. Well, I didn't say anything, but then I tried the ice cream...the powdered milk was ruining it, and the flavor wasn't great.

16/06/2026: Not recommended. The pizza is awful. Stay away!! The tablecloth was thicker than the pizza. And the pizza barely had any toppings. Save your money and invest in crypto or gamble instead.

10/06/2026: After reading the negative reviews, I can't understand why the restaurant received such poor ratings. We were a group of five and were very satisfied with the food. We would definitely go back; the owner is very genuine.

12/09/2025: The food was frozen and cold; you could tell it had been heated in a microwave. Very bad and highly suspicious.

15/08/2025: when we first arrived they said the parking was 10 euro. we payed ten euros and when we were walking out of the parking lot they tried to make us pay AGAIN. but we didnt because it was obvious they were trying to scam us. when we got sat down the waiter didnt even try to be kind at all and told us we cant order very different plates because it was a holiday, but when we looked around the waiters were bringing very different dishes to everyone else (probably because we were tourists and the others were locals). Dishes were terrible , we got preheated pasta with canned sauce (we recognised it) and it was literally cold. We didnt even wait for the next dish because it was so bad. Terrible food and terrible customer service
