Casa del Pescatore In Stazzema

We visited the village and had lunch at Giaccó, just steps from the lake. The restaurant offers a la carte lunches for dining inside or sandwiches for eating outside. We had lunch inside, each ordering two courses plus water. The quality of the food was good, although everything was very salty. The menu doesn't have much choice; I don't understand why they didn't include a classic appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, given that they have them at their counter. It cost €32 per person, which was not bad overall.

The food is good, but it's very disorganized. Fresh, quality produce, and reasonable prices.

Nice place with a view of the lake, friendly waiters. The food is neither excellent nor infamous, but perhaps a little too salty 😅 and the prices seem a bit high compared to other restaurants in Garfagnana.

Excellent food, charming location, friendly staff. It's not a very touristy place, so it's very pleasant and lively. They also have a shop where you can buy local products.

The appetizer wasn't exceptional; I'd suggest ordering the farro salad with ricotta before the carpaccio, and the truffle polenta... quite good, though the truffle wasn't very present in the flavor. The main courses were very good, both in presentation and, above all, in quality and quantity. The berry ice cream was also top-notch. Impeccable service!
