23/07/2025: It is closed, we where searching last evening and asked a local.

17/03/2026: The prices are somewhat okay but the place felt like tourist trap. The pastries were already non fresh at 10am… the creams were so liquid, not even tasty… worst pistacchio cream ever.

05/03/2026: This is our last day in Lucca. In the afternoon, we stopped for two coffees and two desserts. We found the atmosphere and outdoor seating area to be lovely, and the staff was quick and efficient.

29/09/2025: If you are from out of the country, make a detour to this place. They are wonderful, the food is delicious (and fast!), and they will make sure you have a great time.

24/02/2026: Excellent chicken biryani! The rice-to-chicken ratio is perfect. I really like that they offer free sauces with varying levels of spiciness, from mild to very spicy. Recommended!

04/03/2026: Closed on the Saturday of Carnival's closing... I'll come back to try it, but I was disappointed by the lack of attendance on such a busy day.

23/02/2026: Excellent drinks, in my opinion, but quite expensive, which is a shame because while it's fine in the summer, on a cold winter evening when you want to spend a long evening you could easily stay at the table with just a drink. The products are excellent and the service is always friendly. It's a shame the hookah service is only available during the summer.

06/10/2025: The restaurant is good for its quality and service, with a very capable and helpful waitress. It's noisy due to the large number of relatives and the PATRON, who stands by the entrance until her eyelids drop. The hotel is a bit neglected, despite its new rooms; the bathroom faucets are so full of limescale that you risk contracting legionella, not to mention the very limited amount of water available. I'd give 4 stars for the restaurant and 3 (...) for the hotel, because despite everything, the rooms are semi-new and still quite clean. PS: I booked through Booking.com with breakfast, which we're interested in, but when paying they said it wasn't included. Why? I don't like arguing, so I avoided it since it wasn't the case. I repeat, this is a restaurant worth trying, with friendly service and a waitress who is courteous, and good food.

28/12/2025: The tortelli are delicious, they melt in your mouth. As for the meat, I'm not a good example; I don't eat meat, but all my friends rave about it. The location is a room, but I find it quite expensive.

15/12/2025: The cold cuts are excellent, served with warm, freshly baked focaccia, and the tagliata—what can I say? We've had it so good and so beautifully served in few places. Highly recommended!

It's incredibly tasty, and the opportunity to create a unique gelateria is a real gem. It's a true masterpiece of artisan gelato. -- Gelateria dei Gracchi may look modest at first sight, but the gelato here is absolutely outstanding! A wide variety of flavors, the chance to taste before choosing, and the owner's warm and welcoming attitude make this place truly special. Perfect for anyone who loves authentic Italian gelato.

25/08/2025: Nothing special and high prices. I found the hazelnut a bit lumpy. The ice cream shop is a bit incomplete since they don't make milkshakes.

10/06/2025: Well what can I say, this is my home!! Ambience that brings together different ages and realities, drinks at a great price, active billiards and foosball, games to watch, music to listen to, if you want to chat this is the best place! Pleasant atmosphere and super smart guys!

01/11/2025: I arrived at this restaurant with my small, well-behaved dog, properly leashed. We were informed that dogs were not accepted and asked to leave. The main problem wasn't the rules themselves, which may be legitimate, but rather the extremely hasty and impolite manner in which we were treated. Furthermore, we weren't even given the option of sitting at the outside tables, a solution that many other restaurants in the area readily offer. I believe that, even while respecting their own policies, a restaurant should maintain good manners, courtesy, and a welcoming attitude toward those who enter. A disappointing experience. We won't be returning. (Not accepting dogs in 2025 is excessive, but everyone has their own policies, and I respect them.)

27/09/2025: Rural trattoria, quality food. Ample private parking, pleasant outdoor setting. The daily menu is always excellent, featuring traditional dishes, and reasonable prices. Please note: this is a trattoria for easygoing diners who appreciate tradition without too many frills. Please note: dogs are not tolerated.

03/11/2025: We stopped by for a quick dinner and tried their burger. Overall, it was good—the meat was cooked properly, and the bun was soft. Nothing exceptional, but enjoyable nonetheless. The service was quick and the atmosphere simple but elegant. A decent place if you're looking for an unpretentious meal.

29/10/2025: Highly recommended place I stumbled upon it by chance, having booked accommodation nearby. Authentic cuisine and generous portions are the two hallmarks of this restaurant.

16/09/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant during my work break and was truly surprised. I had ordered a plate of fried cod without much expectation, but what arrived was a true triumph of flavor and abundance. In addition to the crispy, flavorful cod, there were beans, fresh salad, and spectacular caramelized onions, which alone were worth the trip. A rich, varied dish, with attention to detail, which conveys passion and attention to detail in the kitchen. I truly hope to return to Viareggio soon for another lunch like this!

10/08/2025: The food was really good and it felt very local and traditional. The cutlery was a bit dirty but they changed it immediately when we pointed it out. I didn’t feel scammed at all like the some other restaurants in Viareggio.

25/12/2025: A very welcoming, family-run restaurant with friendly and welcoming staff, and catering to those with food intolerances or vegetarian diets. Definitely worth a visit and a stop!

12/11/2025: The most beautiful place I've ever eaten. We and the children were wonderfully looked after with typical, warm Italian hospitality. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the portions were generous enough for everyone. For three courses, wine, and soft drinks, the value for money was perfect. And then there was the breathtaking sunset over the sea—it couldn't have been better.
