17/03/2026: Excellent service, super stocked for aperitif, food along with the normal drink

11/03/2026: If I could, I'd give it 0 stars. I went for a drink with my dog ​​and politely asked for a drink and a bowl of water for my dog. They told me to come inside the bar and get it because the dog isn't theirs, but mine. I've never received service like this... Rude staff who roll their eyes and aren't available to provide a requested service.

01/05/2026: May 1st was ruined by the theft of four helmets, later found nearby, resting on motorcycles in the shade of the restaurant parking lot, 20 meters from the dining room, visible even from inside. While we were eating lunch, someone decided to approach the motorcycles, take the helmets, and hide them nearby. Two were found in a fountain of rocks, and two more were thrown down a slope. Luckily, before giving up and looking for a ride, we searched the surrounding meadow and found them, scratched on both the helmet shell and visor. So if you happen to come by motorcycle, don't trust the quiet location; bring them inside.

02/05/2026: Lovely atmosphere, no complaints there. The problem is the decidedly exorbitant price of the drinks: good, yes, but absolutely average and nothing special compared to other places. For comparison, in Santa Margherita Ligure (Portofino) I pay €8 for my usual Pornstar Martini; here, in a hidden street in Lido di Camaiore, I spent €30 for two drinks. Aside from the barely justifiable bill, I also found the waitress's attitude unpleasant: even though I told her I prefer to pour the prosecco directly into the cocktail, she insisted several times, rudely, that I was doing it wrong, making me feel uncomfortable...

07/05/2026: After three years, I am in Donato in this wonderful shop I could have thought about it before I could also have breakfast from pizzas to panforte desserts, especially the tradition of the Buccella Thaw tradition, that donut, that loaf Welcoming and kind staff, quick I will return located in Piazza San Michele or Piazza delle catene

02/06/2026: ✨ A truly enjoyable dinner at Giacomo's in Pietrasanta. The atmosphere is magical 🌿, with a meticulously maintained garden that makes the setting charming and very relaxing ✨. The quality of the food is excellent 🍽️, as is the presentation, refined and well-thought out. I started with a delicious shrimp tartare 🦐 and continued with excellent cacio e pepe tortelli 🧀, both prepared with quality ingredients and great attention to detail. The service was also good 😊, friendly and professional. A restaurant I recommend for a special dinner ❤️ in a truly enchanting location 🌙

31/05/2026: A lot of style missing a lot of substance - very poor service - food not delivered, long waits. Food was below average for the price. Had a lunch at a tiny restaurant in the hills that eclipsed this for 1/5th the price. Very nice setting a beautiful crowd a good place to go get a drink and an appetizer then eat somewhere else.

31/05/2026: Terrible experience. I got takeout that included fries, a chicken sandwich, and chicken nuggets. The only passable thing were the fries. The sandwich had a very hard cutlet inside that you couldn't really bite into, and the nuggets were the frozen ones from Lidl or other supermarkets. Not to mention the price: €15... way overpriced. A real disappointment, I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

25/04/2026: This restaurant enjoys a beautiful outdoor location in Lucca's charming Piazza San Michele. We ordered three aperitifs and a beer: decent cocktails and a pleasant atmosphere, definitely a plus. It's a shame, however, that the aperitif was served with a truly minimal selection: a tiny bowl of peanuts and a tiny bowl of chips, so much so that we had to ask for more. Total: €33. The service could also be more attentive: the girl who served us never cracked a smile the entire time we were at the table. A real shame, because in such a beautiful setting, it wouldn't take much to make the experience much more enjoyable. A smile is something everyone should be happy with.

29/12/2025: I ordered through Deliveroo, and all the cold products arrived upside down. How can you expect two paper cups with paper lids to stand upright in a bag five times larger? The products should be packaged properly, because the drivers certainly can't be blamed!

23/12/2025: LEGALIZED THEFT. Paying €6 for a Coke in December seems excessive to me. A table of several people forced to order because they were the only ones in the cafeteria. Impossible to order just a bottle of water because it's too cheap for the shopkeeper. BUT €2.50 for 0.5L of water is theft.

23/12/2025: I went for a drink that evening with my friends. There were 20 of us when we arrived, and 13 of us ordered drinks. The others were forced to have something (other than water) because the place (after accepting the reservation, given the large number of people) was open only for us. €6 for a Coke and €2.50 for a half-liter of water, with no platters or anything. Very disappointed; it was a place I really liked. I understand that staying open on a Monday in winter is difficult to recoup, but it can't be passed on to the customers, since the reservation had been confirmed.

05/04/2026: Bagno Viareggio, next to the dock. Easter lunch with a dedicated menu featuring a single appetizer, a choice of three first courses, and two second courses. Small kitchen but a skilled chef. Two appetizers, one first course, one second course, two glasses of wine, and water. A children's menu of pasta with tomato sauce and French fries included €109, considering it was Easter. The food was honest and, above all, everything was delicious. The atmosphere was under construction but discreet, right on the beach. There were a few tables under the veranda, others outside, but overall, it was okay. The excellent food played a major role: the fish steak was truly excellent and a nice, generous plate (in the photo, I had already taken a couple of bites). I tried the red mullet paccheri, which were also delicious.
