14/05/2026: The only thing worth mentioning is the location. Total disappointment with the dinner and the service. High prices for ready-made sauces made from frozen fish, limited variety in the dishes offered, and "minimal" portions. I left there still hungry. How did this end up in the Michelin guide?

02/05/2026: If the goal was to feel ignored, confused, and mocked... mission accomplished. We went to Da Cecco, and the experience was, without exaggeration, one of the worst we've ever had in a restaurant. Not so much for the food, which was overall decent, but for the service management that was embarrassing to say the least. As soon as we arrived, our "welcome" was a glass of wine literally thrown on the table and an already-opened bottle left there, unfilled. No attention, no care. The bread? Forgotten: we had to ask for it ourselves. The wine? Served without any care to keep it chilled. Chaos reigned from the start: wrong orders, waiters arguing among themselves in front of customers, total disorganization. All this with just 15 tables and only two people in the dining room, clearly incapable of managing even such a small situation. Unacceptable wait times: appetizer arrived at 8:00 PM, fried food at 9:30 PM. When asked for clarification, the waitress's response was surreal: "If I go to the kitchen to ask, they'll get angry." A phrase that alone describes the level of service. We had to wait for other tables to finish their first courses to receive our fried food, even though we hadn't ordered any entrees. And when it finally arrived, another disappointment: we had asked for a typical Viareggio fried food with mixed seafood, but were told it wasn't available. We settled for two fried calamari and shrimp dishes... different, one full of vegetables, the other with little fish. The portions were unbalanced and inconsistent. The icing on the cake: the price was different from the menu. The fried food listed at 16 euros was charged 17, with an unclear and decidedly unprofessional justification. No apology, no discount, nothing. In short: you can eat decently, but the treatment you receive and the total lack of organization make this place absolutely inadvisable. It's not just poor service here, but management that borders on disinterest in the customer. Going elsewhere is definitely the best option.

07/06/2026: American-style fast food... Excellent sandwiches and salads... There's also a pizzeria that makes very good pizzas.

04/06/2026: Food is ok, nothing special. Big menu with a lot of choices, maybe too many, it actually makes ordering a bit confusing. The kiosk system is slow and not very user-friendly, so service ends up feeling longer than it should. Place is quite hot inside, which makes the experience less comfortable, especially when it’s busy. There’s a kids’ play area, which is a nice idea for families, but it feels a bit poorly thought through in terms of layout and setup. Overall: average food, some good family-friendly intentions, but execution could be much better.

28/01/2026: Disappointing. You eat with plastic plates and cutlery, all reheated, so to speak, in the microwave. I had soup, two pieces of fried pasta, and two croutons without a drink for €11.00. A little further away, soup, roast turkey, and coffee, sitting down with a ceramic place setting and stainless steel cutlery, cost €13.00. In my opinion, there's no comparison. To be honest, I won't mention the name of the restaurant, but my only advice is don't stop, but look around. Marfisa, I won't eat there again!

04/06/2026: The manual for how NOT to serve a table - ignoring customers, forgetting there are two children, serving other tables who arrived later, not realizing he hadn't brought our pizzas, losing the order, blaming the pizza chef for the delay, not only not apologizing for the 60-minute wait, but actually even replying to me. Cecio, the pizza is really good, but the service isn't even close to the level of the pizza you make. It's a real shame. You've lost customers.

14/05/2026: We went to this pizzeria for the first time with six friends. The atmosphere was incredibly noisy. That said, the pizza was average, but the prices were very high, ranging from €13 to €16 per pizza. In our opinion, there was no logical reason for such high prices; we didn't eat anything particularly rare or expensive, just ordinary pizzas. When we got the bill, we were told that paying in cash would be better, and they would take 0.65 cents off each person. I'll leave that up to you to imagine... Overall, a definitely negative experience. I can imagine the owners' response, but it doesn't change anything we've written.

09/06/2026: Good food, but the service was too long... even with a reservation, the hour and a half wait in the heat was hard to bear (if they had told us when we booked that was the only available seat, we wouldn't have come). The food was good, but the servings were meager for the price. Service was 50/50: one waitress was kind and smiling and occasionally spoke to you, while the other was the complete opposite, not responding to "thank you" messages or even looking you in the eye. I had a seafood pasta dish and couldn't ask for a dish for the shells or a hand towel because the waitress had already left. I wanted to order dessert, but I gave up because once our courses were finished, they continued to ignore us and no one asked if we wanted it. The price for an appetizer, first course, second course, water (from 70!!!!!!) and two glasses of red wine was 75 euros. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

08/06/2026: Beautiful restaurant with several unique sayings written on the walls. Good service, everything excellent, cooked to perfection. Keep up the good work.

09/05/2026: Great food away from the touristy plaza. You are welcomed by Michael like if you were a friend. Great food and drinks, fair prices. Spoil yourself with a steak fiorentina and you’ll ask yourself why you didn’t book an extra night.

20/08/2025: A historic building with a bar and a bookstore, and a little bit of Sicily! The cannoli and almond granita are delicious.

17/03/2026: Gaio, the host, leaves nothing to chance. The hospitality is incredible, the food quality (all regional) top marks, the appetizers are enough to make a dinner, the first courses are homemade, and the meats are the restaurant's strong point. The atmosphere is beautiful, traditional, and welcoming. Despite the crowds in the summer, the clientele is diverse: tourists, regulars, and many locals. My favorite restaurant in Forte dei Marmi.

15/02/2026: A subdued experience. The prices seemed too high for the culinary offerings. The location is in a dated rustic style and, in my opinion, does not justify the final bill. I found the markups on the wine list decidedly excessive.

15/08/2025: You can also find special rye bread with cereals, it arrives fresh on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and it lasts up to a week, what can I say about the round pizza with drowned cherry tomatoes, good oven.

15/01/2026: Thin, crispy, and easily digestible pizza, just like it was here in Tuscany until a few years ago. Very good, for those who appreciate this type of pizza. Excellent ingredients (fresh porcini mushrooms, for example) and fair prices.
