28/07/2025: I have been frequenting the Tropicana beach for 2 seasons..and I must say that I have finally found the right one..pleasant environment..elegant just right..super clean..with a truly top-notch fish-based cuisine..price in line..with other beaches in the area..well done Nicola..the owner is attentive to the management of the beach in an impeccable manner..thanks anyway to all the staff..waiters, lifeguards, 👍

19/04/2025: Locale in centro a Lucca, molto carino, contemporaneo e allegro nella proposta gastronomica con tanti piatti ben cucinati, tutti da condividere in modo divertente. Davvero ben fatta la frittura di acciughe, i due ragù assaggiati, la tartare, tutti sapori forti ma con buoni equilibri. Ah, ottimo anche il pane e buona la cantina, con tanti vini non scontati. Promossi.

13/04/2025: Posto consigliatissimo! Il menu spazia da piatti della tradizione a piatti con contaminazioni orientali. Tutto sfizioso, personale gentile e preparato. Nota positiva: il pane (buonissimo) fatto da loro che è possibile acquistare, conto adeguato a ciò che si mangia e si beve.

29/06/2025: We spent a fantastic Saturday in this bathing establishment, in the company of a couple of friends, in the name of absolute relaxation. beautiful and cared for in every detail ... the staff is always present and professional .. the lifeguard Gionata very nice !! You can breathe in the air the atmosphere of a magical place .. there are beautiful photos of the past that testify to it ... and this thing of winking at the future but without forgetting an iconic past ... well done !!

07/10/2025: "Taste, hospitality, and the Versilia sun at the Osteria al Pontile in Tonfano" On a bright, sunny day, we chose to have lunch at the Osteria al Pontile, in the heart of Tonfano's main square. A truly pleasant location, perfectly reflecting the order and care that distinguish Versilia: well-kept green lawns, flowers everywhere, convenient services, and an overall feeling of harmony and cleanliness. This area also boasts vast sandy beaches, which at the end of the season, with the beach resorts closed, transform into the perfect place for a relaxing after-lunch stroll, just steps from the restaurant. A truly complete experience, combining good food and the beauty of the landscape. The welcome was warm from the start, even for our large dog, who was welcomed and made to feel at ease. It's rare to find such pet-friendly establishments without sacrificing elegance or quality service. Lunch satisfied all the family's tastes. We started with a mixed seafood appetizer with balanced, fresh flavors. Next up was a crispy fried fish and vegetables dish, light and well-executed, and the dish I was most excited about: a clam pasta dish that lived up to every promise: flavorful, fragrant, and perfect. Definitely the highlight of our lunch. We concluded with a tiramisu without coffee, colored with alkermes: an original, delicate twist that's definitely worth trying again. The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxed and sunny. We'll definitely be back: Osteria al Pontile is a perfect example of how good food, hospitality, and the beauty of the area make Versilia a special destination in every season.

15/09/2025: One of my favorite places. Feel right at home with a plate of expertly prepared stuffed mussels in a simple, family-friendly atmosphere. Adjacent to Tonfano's main square (ideal for those with children), it's in a beautiful location overlooking the Versilia sunsets. Authentic and homey, with one of the best value for money in the area.

27/09/2025: Rural trattoria, quality food. Ample private parking, pleasant outdoor setting. The daily menu is always excellent, featuring traditional dishes, and reasonable prices. Please note: this is a trattoria for easygoing diners who appreciate tradition without too many frills. Please note: dogs are not tolerated.

09/09/2025: We walked onto the terrace for lunch with a dog. We were yelled at in a very unpleasant manner that dogs weren't allowed inside. We were allowed to have a drink on the terrace, but not to eat. It's okay that you don't allow dogs, but please let us know in a respectful manner from now on. On a positive note, it led us to the little bar next door with delicious sandwiches and two incredibly friendly men. So, we go there every day for a sandwich and an espresso.

01/10/2025: Tourist restaurant, Unique and characteristic, good but very expensive for what it offers: decent appetizers, good polenta with mushrooms for around €20, main courses all starting at €30. The three of us ordered three appetizers and a main course with two glasses of wine and one glass of water, for a total of €120.

18/09/2025: Few things in life are certain, death and the quality of this place. You sit down and immediately feel at home. The staff is courteous but not invasive, almost as if you were friends. There's little formality if you're that type. Local products with a flavor now forgotten. Schiaccioni beans so delicate and full of their own flavor and a full, unforgettable texture. The ingredients are simple yet incredibly rich. A mushroom risotto with a brown mushroom base so rich it seems to have been transported to the undergrowth. Not to mention the meat. A firm bite, a meat that doesn't need to be chewed, a firm bite is enough to release its juices on the palate. Few Florentine steaks have given the same feeling, warm and bloody to the heart, perfect. Harmonious wine pairings, little more to say, a place worth the visit.

13/09/2025: Wonderful little place! On our way back from a trip to the area, we decided to extend our stay and stop here for dinner. It was a delightful experience with very hospitable service. They had fresh porcini mushrooms picked that day and brought us a truly generous tagliatelle, which we devoured! It's a shame the tray wasn't edible, otherwise we would have eaten that too. Thank you, and see you soon!

27/09/2025: If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would! We visited Trattoria Da Vasco on Monday 22 Sept 25, for dinner, based on a recommendation. Whilst my spaghetti carbonara was OK (not great), the spinach and ricotta ravioli my partner ordered was inedible. It arrived floating in a bowl of what appeared to be pasta water, with no sauce and tasted horrible. We sent it back and asked very nicely if we could please order something else as my partner had only had a mouthful. He tried the spaghetti Bolognese but again, it was terrible. The pasta had not been drained properly and again there was water at the bottom of the bowel. The sauce was barely discernible and the most prominent taste was dish washing liquid. Again, my partner could not eat this and had barely a mouthful. Now very hungry we decided to pay for what we could eat and drink. I went inside to explain this and pay. The manager /owner immediately started shouting at me aggressively in Italian, which unfortunately I do not speak. He was extremely intimidating and stood very close to me. He would not let the waitress translate for me, even though her English was good enough. He immediately threatened to call the police and would not stop shouting for one moment. I ended up in tears in the restaurant. At this point my partner who was sitting outside heard the noise and stepped in to protect me, just in time for the police to arrive. The police had to physically hold the manager back, still shouting at us both. I paid the bill (and entirely unwarranted €44!) just to get out of there. It was an awful meal and a worse experience. I suggest avoiding this 'restaurant' at all costs. The police were lovely and listened patiently to what happened. Of course they agreed with us as customers and had a stern talking to the manager/owner. I have travelled extensively, and been to Italy many times, and have never been treated so badly.

26/09/2025: A family-run trattoria, when you enter Vasco, you feel like part of the family. Typical Lucca dishes, truly well-made and generous portions. This is our second time here, and we'll continue to do so. I highly recommend this place.

27/09/2025: It pains me to write this negative review. I love this place. The atmosphere is chic and sophisticated. I went for lunch with my husband and ordered only one dish, the seafood steamer, because I wanted something light. Unfortunately, my plate was piled high with mayonnaise! How can you ruin our delicious local fish with such a heavy sauce?! I really don't know what the chef was thinking! My husband then ordered the seafood grill, and luckily I promptly told the waiter to put the mayonnaise aside, because otherwise the plate would have definitely arrived with a kilo of mayonnaise on it. The bill was very steep. I'm sorry, but unless they change the format, I won't be going there again.

14/09/2025: If they didn't present UNPOSSIBLE bills for a meal I'd call mediocre and poorly cooked...they could become a mediocre trattoria. The fish...I'd avoid it!

09/09/2025: Excellent traditional first courses with unusual and refined pairings, rich and varied second courses featuring fresh fish or cured meats, all paired with fine wines that can be enjoyed indoors or on the unique outdoor terrace. The icing on the cake: the background music that turns evenings at Leblon into moments of pure magic. Highly recommended for both romantic dinners for two and dinners with friends.

07/09/2025: The staff are really rude and not very organised, they assign tables and then realise they have already assigned them, they made us move 3 times, the manager was really rude, it's a shame the music is nice
