I recommend it to anyone who intends to stop and try it, excellent service, availability and kindness, the dishes made according to tradition, especially the tordello (so called in the Lucca style) and prices in the normal range that follows now

Come sempre quando mi trovo a Lucca non posso dire di no ai sapori stupendi fatti da grandioso chef Mario , quello che da 50 ani da sempre hai piatti lucchesi tanta bonta. Consiglio questo ristorante per tutti quelli che si trova ,a Lucca , cita con tanta storia , gli piatti tradizionali, dolci meravigliosi, servizio accogliente...tutto al "superlativ".Bravooo a tutti , tanto rispetto ai proprietari , Beata e Mario!🙏🤗

Excellent decor and setting. Very attentive wait staff and maître de ! Food service was quick and excellent ! Don’t take note of the negative reviews ! They are not correct !! The veal was amazing!

30/03/2024: A brilliantly tasty Garmugia Lucchese (Tuscan spring soup) and Orechiette on a grey but warming day in spring.
04/01/2024: Trained and very kind staff... we ate two excellent soups while enjoying the view of the pizza and the sweet sound of the fountain...
