17/06/2025: The best slice of margherita pizza I’ve ever had - as soon as I had finished I went straight back in for another slice. Highly recommend.

05/06/2025: Gran pizza por lonchas. Mi esposa y yo compartimos dos rebanadas y fue bastante lleno. Ella tenía marguerita y yo carne. El lugar es muy casual y tiene solo unas pocas mesas. Llevamos y funcionó bien. También venden vino por la división que era perfecto para nosotros. BTW hicimos un tour gastronómico de Lucca más tarde en la semana y el guía nos trajo aquí.

16/01/2026: Good beer, somewhat rude bartenders, rude to customers (not all of them)... I was there a little while ago and there was quite a line. I was waiting and one of them said, "Come on guys!! What do you want!!?" in a pretentious and very rude tone. Meanwhile, while the line was still there, she was doing something else, unrelated to her job. It's a shame, I used to go there often, I think I'll go elsewhere from now on.

04/01/2026: New Year's Eve à la carte dinner avoided the exhausting wait for a set menu. Fast service with interesting and beautifully presented dishes. A reasonable price for a New Year's Eve dinner with friendly and attentive service.

10/11/2025: A quick lunch break during our tour of Viareggio in early November. We chose this little place on the promenade for the small glass-fronted terrace, which ensured a pleasant temperature. We ordered two stuffed piadinas and then a Nutella crepe to share for dessert, all washed down with two bottled beers. Unfortunately, they didn't have any on tap, even though it was on the menu. However, my piadina wasn't cooked through, and the mozzarella was still cold. The service was very quick, and the staff were friendly. The restrooms, however, are very small and difficult to access due to the narrow corridor. There was no cover charge, and the final bill was €28, as per the attached receipt.

26/01/2026: Great place, great atmosphere, and great food. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the owner is terrible at table football. Losing 10-3 against a 14-year-old is really hard.

30/10/2025: The welcome is warm and the place is pleasant. The five for food is well-deserved, especially for the tortelli lucchesi. The rating for the always-punctual service deserves credit to Francesco. Thanks to him, I discovered the limoncello spritz, which is masterfully executed. His coffee is also excellent.

09/12/2025: Today was the Avo Versilia New Year's Eve celebration. About 50 of us gathered for the New Year's Eve lunch. Odilio is a well-known restaurant in Torre del Lago. The location is clean and not very bright, making it excellent for family lunches, business lunches, or groups of up to 60-70 people. We enjoyed a well-prepared, traditionally prepared fish menu. The prices were moderately low, and the staff was friendly. Everything was fine.

17/11/2025: We waited half an hour to order, and an hour to get our pizzas, since they gave priority to takeout orders! This is unprofessional! The pizza isn't as good as recommended...

29/09/2025: I'm so damned if I'll ever go back! I remember the discrimination when asking for a racial vaccination pass very well. You're the dogs of hope...lucky other restaurants were simply civil.

08/09/2025: Classic restaurant with traditional food. Informal atmosphere. A lovely lunch with tagliatelle and homemade sauce, just like in the old days! Very good. The location on Mount Argegna is enchanting. A lovely lawn to relax in.

17/09/2025: Pool closed and red flag for the sea, no refund for deckchairs. No open discussion, too bad we plan to come during the week, luckily we only paid 1 day to try

04/10/2025: Ordered the spaghetti seafood pasta which came with mussels, clams, squid and shrimp. Presentation and taste were superb. Large portion with lots of mussels and clams.

11/09/2025: Terrible experience! Upon arrival, the view of the place was quite sad, more like a view of garbage bins than a sea view... hmmm... Zero welcome, absolutely unprofessional and uncaring staff (especially given the few customers present). We ordered a glass of champagne and, in addition to taking the glass back from the kitchen, we noticed that it tasted bad and there wasn't even a single bubble. We asked for an explanation and they brought the almost empty bottle to us, telling us that "it must be because it's only been open a few days, but it's champagne"... oh god!!!!!!! 😲🙈🫣 (Meanwhile, they were charging us for the 10 euro glass!). We settled for a prosecco, but history repeats itself and we decide not to argue. The food was mediocre. We went for a barrel-aged grappa to digest the excessive heaviness of the mixed fried food, but we received a white grappa from the supermarket. No apology for what happened, and the price was steep compared to the quality and quantity. A sad experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
