16/08/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance and had a great time. Quiet and well-maintained location. Excellent food. Super soft octopus and fantastic scampi gnocchi. We'll definitely be back 😊

29/06/2025: We spent a fantastic Saturday in this bathing establishment, in the company of a couple of friends, in the name of absolute relaxation. beautiful and cared for in every detail ... the staff is always present and professional .. the lifeguard Gionata very nice !! You can breathe in the air the atmosphere of a magical place .. there are beautiful photos of the past that testify to it ... and this thing of winking at the future but without forgetting an iconic past ... well done !!

09/11/2025: The waiters were friendly, but the cleanliness was truly appalling. The place was full of flies, and the bathroom was dirty. Even though the place is never busy during the day, it's unclear why they don't have time to clean.

17/10/2025: Picture this: you’ve been traveling with a two year old for the last 24 hours and you get into the area with no more milk, which he always drinks before bed. The problem, you arrive around 11pm so all the grocery stores are closed. Despite some fight from the toddler, he falls asleep. Until 2:30 am when he screams louder than ever before (which you didn’t know was possible) and you are scrambling to find milk SOMEWHERE. No mini marts, nothing. Suddenly you remember that places with coffee usually have milk and -tada!!- Caffé Nelli is .5 km away. You go in, they speak English! Hooray! And their answer to the key question, “do you have milk?” Becomes the highlight of your visit to Italy so far. You pay a very reasonable price and they give you the goods. Fantastic! Wonderful! I am so grateful that they are open late and had exactly what I needed!!

08/09/2025: Dear Hotel Playa Team, We would like to thank you very much for the wonderful stay at your hotel. We particularly enjoyed the location directly by the sea and in the shopping area, which made for a relaxing holiday. The room was always clean, and the food in the hotel restaurant was very delicious. We would especially like to praise the excellent service, from the manager himself to the entire team. We always felt well looked after and were provided with many useful tips for excursions in the surrounding area. The parking in front of the door at a fair price of €8 per day was also very convenient. Overall, we were completely satisfied and are already looking forward to our next visit to the Hotel Playa. 18/09/2025: How lovely! A 10 for the exquisite hospitality and the ancient flavor that permeates this gem nestled in the heart of Lucca. Excellent coffee and expertly crafted desserts that hold a story far beyond the mere recipe. Tradition, friendliness, professionalism: Taddeucci has all the best cards in the deck (to put it in Games' terms). It really makes you want to take home a "souvenir," a taste to share with loved ones. Well done!

31/08/2025: I discovered this pastry shop by chance on a rainy day. Friendly staff, excellent coffee and cappuccino. The pastries were so good we returned several times for breakfast. I recommend the puff pastry with ricotta cream. Delicious 🤤

11/08/2025: I just went to this bar. I just arrived in Viareggio, and I'm on vacation. I found the lady at the bar (I don't know if she's the owner or the bartender) very rude, yelling at me that I should turn off the light in the bathroom. She should be more polite and kind to customers.

17/08/2025: In a summer where everyone complains about beach prices, I found excellent service here at a more than fair price. Well-spaced umbrellas (there were days when we had four lounge chairs under our umbrella and didn't bother our neighbors at all) and free parking for guests, at an unexpected price and with a proper receipt. The managers are kind and honest. Congratulations! We'll be back!

12/08/2025: Excellent beach resort, quiet and without any noise. The restaurant is excellent, with reasonable prices considering you're enjoying a fish dish practically on the beach.

18/11/2025: Finally, a classy place in Viareggio (and there aren't any others like it), with great music and a friendly atmosphere! Their drinks are excellent and the service is excellent! Yesterday, I ordered a "capri" (a drink they created), which I highly recommend and which they gave me a detailed explanation of! With my drink, they brought me a generous bowl of chips and a tray of delicious appetizers!

16/11/2025: It's always a pleasure to come here. The staff are all very kind and always attentive to providing excellent service. The aperitivo is a must. Excellent cocktails, and the pinsa and costoni are delicious. It's undoubtedly the best in the area. The breakfast pastries are also delicious.

05/12/2025: Nice layout. You can enjoy lunch with excellent traditional platters as well as elaborate dishes from the kitchen. The prices are average for its category. The staff is friendly and smiling.

31/10/2025: I was shocked 😲! Make sure you pay each piece you eat right away. I was overcharged and when I asked for the detailed receipt the man with the glasses couldn't even make up the math. Sad so sad! It was my childhood place, I used to go there with my dad. To steal a couple of euros you must be a very poor soul. I will never set foot again in that place 😒
