03/05/2026: The night before, we stopped for coffee and asked if they'd make pizza the next evening, since we wanted to have pizza. When they said yes, we booked a table. The pizza was inedible, with poor quality ingredients, practically raw tomatoes, and all on a pinsa base, not a homemade pizza... some of the ingredients were finished, and we paid for it like a gourmet pizza. Terrible experience.

15/08/2025: You can also find special rye bread with cereals, it arrives fresh on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and it lasts up to a week, what can I say about the round pizza with drowned cherry tomatoes, good oven.

28/04/2026: A good restaurant in a welcoming location. The first courses were very good, with portions that weren't particularly generous. The appetizer wasn't entirely satisfying, and given the price, we expected more.

26/04/2026: Charging six euros in service fees for a few drinks is something I haven't experienced before in Italy. Also, check your bill carefully; ours was incorrect and the prices didn't match what was on the menu. The staff were aware of this but blamed it on a computer error (a very poor excuse, of course, because they only gave the money back when I pointed it out to them). Otherwise, it was fine, but I don't like it when you aren't honest about your prices, so three stars. *update* The owner is accusing me of being a liar. That is why I have added a photo of the receipt and changed from three stars to one star.

20/04/2026: Found it on The Fork. We had a great time, the staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent, and you're right in the center! Highly recommended!

15/01/2026: Thin, crispy, and easily digestible pizza, just like it was here in Tuscany until a few years ago. Very good, for those who appreciate this type of pizza. Excellent ingredients (fresh porcini mushrooms, for example) and fair prices.

17/03/2026: Gaio, the host, leaves nothing to chance. The hospitality is incredible, the food quality (all regional) top marks, the appetizers are enough to make a dinner, the first courses are homemade, and the meats are the restaurant's strong point. The atmosphere is beautiful, traditional, and welcoming. Despite the crowds in the summer, the clientele is diverse: tourists, regulars, and many locals. My favorite restaurant in Forte dei Marmi.

15/02/2026: A subdued experience. The prices seemed too high for the culinary offerings. The location is in a dated rustic style and, in my opinion, does not justify the final bill. I found the markups on the wine list decidedly excessive.

05/05/2026: The food is really good, homemade, and reasonably priced for what you get. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I've been there so many times, and every time I'm in the area, I definitely return.

19/04/2026: Ladies and gentlemen, the food at SottoSopra is good, and the portions will satisfy even the most greedy. I've finally rediscovered the taste and family atmosphere of historic Versilia. Well done everyone 👏👏

06/04/2026: I never leave negative reviews, but unfortunately, this place gave me one. Easter Monday, lots of tables, and an emergency power outage along the entire promenade. So far, bad luck, but not the restaurant's fault. The problem arises when the entire dining room, manned by just two waitresses, was abandoned for the entire meal, with no apologies or updates. We had ordered a mixed four-course appetizer, and three arrived after an hour and a half (since the food was cold and ready, it didn't require electricity). An hour later, they came asking for second courses. I asked for the quickest option available, and after five minutes, a plate of paccheri arrived for two. Dissatisfied with the emergency management, we went to pay full price for everything, even the appetizer, for which we only received three of the four courses. I'm sorry, but I've never left a place feeling so disappointed and angry. It's not the emergency, but the lack of attention shown by those who pay full price for no attention.

06/04/2026: I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but this time I couldn't help it. The problem, however, was how it was handled. The entire outdoor dining area was manned by just two waitresses, and we were, in fact, completely neglected throughout the entire lunch, without any explanation or update. We had ordered a mixed appetizer consisting of four courses: after an hour and a half, only three of them arrived, all cold dishes that didn't even require electricity. After about an hour, we were asked for second courses; I asked for something quick, and after a few minutes, a single plate of paccheri arrived for two to share. The most disappointing thing was the bill: we paid full price for everything, including the incomplete appetizer. It's not so much the emergency itself, which can happen, but the complete lack of attention and care towards customers who, despite everything, pay in full. I left feeling truly disappointed and bitter.

25/11/2025: Although the sea wasn't always cooperative, this beach resort proved to be excellent on several fronts. First and foremost, the umbrellas and loungers were well-maintained, although there wasn't much space between them. The bar service prepared excellent lunches, and the staff was always friendly.

07/10/2025: We stopped by at the end of the season for a coffee by the sea. Excellent service, with children's games on the sand. Friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommended, even for long-term stays; the facilities look excellent.

08/02/2026: Traditional pizzeria, where pizza is a cult. Original flavors that endure over time. For me, it's like being a kid again! A pizza that's instantly digestible. The quality of the ingredients makes all the difference. What can I say about the Cecina? Fantastic! I recommend stopping by and trying a slice to take away!

12/01/2026: A quaint, family-friendly place right in the heart of Lucca. The staff is attentive, polite, and above all friendly and kind. The owner is a delightful and very pleasant person. We came in with a stroller and they gave us a little room all to ourselves. We ordered a Capricciosa for two (we were initially hesitant whether it would be enough for two, especially since I eat a lot). It was a feast of visuals and authenticity. In short, if you want to feel at home, eat well, and spend little, go to this pizzeria.

23/08/2025: Delicious ice cream. Interesting presentation. You operate the ice cream machine yourself. Then pay by weight. Great flavor.
