21/02/2026: I had dinner tonight. It was a terrible experience. The food wasn't even bad. But the service was horrendous, almost atrocious. Towards the end of the meal, the waitress even spilled a boiling hot coffee on my wife, which, for God's sake, was perfectly acceptable. But the owner didn't even bother asking for information and made us pay for everything, down to the last cent. He didn't even take the coffees off our bill. Maybe we were lucky he didn't charge us for the one he spilled on us.

06/09/2025: Subpar food at prices found in much nicer and more refined restaurants, and the wait staff (a lady who may be the owner) is unhelpful and rude, with haughty responses. It really feels like one customer is superfluous even when they show you your assigned table. It says "pizzeria" outside, but unless you reserve a table a few days in advance, you can't eat there. Absurd! I'd suggest changing careers.

31/08/2025: Recommended by a nearby shop. We immediately noticed the fast and friendly service; the waiters are smiling and honest. The price is excellent for the high quality of the food. Will we be back? Yes!

25/11/2025: I've been to Bioroom and I have to say it's become one of my favorite places! The smoothies, juices, and salads are truly delicious, made with fresh, quality ingredients. In my opinion, the prices are more than fair for what they offer. The staff is incredibly kind, professional, always smiling, and super helpful: an added value that really makes the difference. I highly recommend it for a light lunch or dinner, or just a healthy snack. A must-try! 💚

04/11/2025: I had the Acai Bowl for the first time. Truly delicious. They have so many good, authentic things to eat, a wide selection. The staff is very friendly, and the shop is beautiful and welcoming. I recommend it!

02/12/2025: Very nice and clean rooms. Wonderful location. Breakfast was top-notch. It's a shame that the pool is only indoor and not heated (as we were told over the phone) and therefore unusable in November. The hot tub and spa are very small but nice. The morning of check-out, the cleaning ladies knocked on our door and, upon our "who's there?", came in anyway, finding us changing, which was in terrible taste. Overall, a pleasant stay, but I wouldn't return.

24/02/2026: Absolutely delightful place to eat in the city centre and the quality of the food is worth the price my attendance was for a special event so was set menu and each course left the palette titillating with pleasure. I’m going for round 2 on my next trip to Lucca

Diners are also advised to sample the best of the two menus: the daily menu and the regular special. The two menus are interconnected by the wine list and pizza menu. Each dish can be accompanied by freshly baked schiacciata or fresh bread. The location is a bridge between the sea, the seaside promenade, and the construction site.

09/11/2025: We ate here the day before yesterday and we had a great time, the mixed fried fish was excellent, the service I would say was excellent, the lady who served us was very friendly and helpful, number 1 on the Viareggio seafront, I highly recommend it, I will definitely be back

07/10/2025: "Taste, hospitality, and the Versilia sun at the Osteria al Pontile in Tonfano" On a bright, sunny day, we chose to have lunch at the Osteria al Pontile, in the heart of Tonfano's main square. A truly pleasant location, perfectly reflecting the order and care that distinguish Versilia: well-kept green lawns, flowers everywhere, convenient services, and an overall feeling of harmony and cleanliness. This area also boasts vast sandy beaches, which at the end of the season, with the beach resorts closed, transform into the perfect place for a relaxing after-lunch stroll, just steps from the restaurant. A truly complete experience, combining good food and the beauty of the landscape. The welcome was warm from the start, even for our large dog, who was welcomed and made to feel at ease. It's rare to find such pet-friendly establishments without sacrificing elegance or quality service. Lunch satisfied all the family's tastes. We started with a mixed seafood appetizer with balanced, fresh flavors. Next up was a crispy fried fish and vegetables dish, light and well-executed, and the dish I was most excited about: a clam pasta dish that lived up to every promise: flavorful, fragrant, and perfect. Definitely the highlight of our lunch. We concluded with a tiramisu without coffee, colored with alkermes: an original, delicate twist that's definitely worth trying again. The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxed and sunny. We'll definitely be back: Osteria al Pontile is a perfect example of how good food, hospitality, and the beauty of the area make Versilia a special destination in every season.

15/03/2026: I've been to this place several times with friends and we've always had a great time. Unfortunately, this evening, everything went wrong, from start to finish. The thing that disappointed me most, after the various service oversights, was hearing: "€33.07 per person if you pay by card." No one expects discounts, and we all know life is expensive for everyone, but when there are obvious errors in the service, it would be appreciated to at least notice them and try to fix them, perhaps rounding up the bill (even if it's just by taking off those 7 cents).

04/03/2026: A pleasant surprise! I found excellent Neapolitan pizza. There are several different rooms, including a beautiful garden where you can enjoy an excellent pizza outside. The owners, as is typical for Neapolitan cuisine, are very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!

24/11/2025: Sea bass fish is very expensive. We showed a photo of a small fish for one person. Waitress said that they have only one fish for two persons. After waitress came again and said they have fish for three persons only. They charged for 2 kg sea bash fish €193. Be careful, ask for the weight and total price of the fish before you order. Food is not tasty. Service is very slow, it took them 15 minutes to bring a glass. No space between the trees in the garden. Receipt photos are attached.

27/09/2025: We had delicious lobster pasta and sat in the garden. The food and service were both excellent. If I ever get back to that region I will go back. Highly recommended.
