05/04/2026: We had a very disappointing experience here. We arrived to find multiple empty tables available, and the first staff member was welcoming—she even gave us a menu and seemed ready to seat us. However, moments later, a woman who appeared to be the manager came to the door and abruptly told us there was no space available. This was especially frustrating because it was clearly not true, and even more so because I was with my elderly mother. The way we were turned away felt dismissive and unkind, with no real explanation or attempt to accommodate us. It’s unfortunate because first impressions matter, and this experience left us feeling unwelcome. I would not recommend a place that treats potential guests this way.

10/12/2025: I've been there a few times because it's close to the university. The food isn't bad, but the staff isn't the best. One waiter in particular is very apathetic; it seems like he's doing the customers a favor. Plus, I once found a pebble in an artichoke risotto.

31/05/2026: After almost two years, I returned to this place for pizza tonight. I'd never had any problems until today. The pizza wasn't bad, but unfortunately, the experience was marred by the attitude of some of the staff. I was waiting for my pizza on the terrace, and when the buzzer sounded to let me know it was ready, I heard laughter from inside and one of the pizza chefs say, "This guy is weird." I went in to get my pizza, and I also had the feeling I was being watched with a somewhat mocking attitude. I believe that respect for the customer should always be a priority. Customers can hear the staff's comments and sense any derisive behavior, which certainly doesn't contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. I'm sorry to leave this review, especially since I had a positive experience in the past. I don't know if the management or organization of the place has changed since then, but after what happened, it's clear I won't be returning.

04/06/2026: We visited this very modern and attractive pastry shop. It's located on the street with convenient on-site parking. The brioches have a very good crust but are sparsely filled: I had a cream brioche, which was practically empty, and my husband had two savory croissants, which also had minimal filling, but were better than mine. Despite the low attendance, they obviously don't offer table service and don't have high chairs, so it's a bit of a hassle for those with small children who aren't in strollers or prams. Average.

04/06/2026: The manual for how NOT to serve a table - ignoring customers, forgetting there are two children, serving other tables who arrived later, not realizing he hadn't brought our pizzas, losing the order, blaming the pizza chef for the delay, not only not apologizing for the 60-minute wait, but actually even replying to me. Cecio, the pizza is really good, but the service isn't even close to the level of the pizza you make. It's a real shame. You've lost customers.

23/06/2026: The parking lot is empty and cars are parked on the pedestrian path. Entering the restaurant is a risk of being hit by a car, and it's also dangerous for wheelchair users. Perhaps the owners should let their customers park in the parking lot and not on the street.

29/07/2026: I stopped coming to the Mc Drive in Lido di Camaiore because 6 times out of 10, something was missing from the orders. I came back a year later, and one menu was missing a sandwich. Now I say, forget about mayonnaise, forget about tissues, forget about straws! But, you little bitch, you can't forget about the sandwich! DISSATISFIED AND HUNGRY, I WOULD INVITE YOU ALL TO DINNER AT MY HOUSE AND THEN FORGET ABOUT SHOPPING.

A truly pleasant location, perfectly reflecting the order and care that distinguish Versilia: well-kept green lawns, flowers everywhere, convenient services, and an overall feeling of harmony and cleanliness. This area also boasts vast sandy beaches, which at the end of the season, with the beach resorts closed, transform into the perfect place for a relaxing after-lunch stroll, just steps from the restaurant. A truly complete experience, combining good food and the beauty of the landscape. The welcome was warm from the start, even for our large dog, who was welcomed and made to feel at ease. It's rare to find such pet-friendly establishments without sacrificing elegance or quality service. Lunch satisfied all the family's tastes. We started with a mixed seafood appetizer with balanced, fresh flavors. Next up was a crispy fried fish and vegetables dish, light and well-executed, and the dish I was most excited about: a clam pasta dish that lived up to every promise: flavorful, fragrant, and perfect. Definitely the highlight of our lunch. We concluded with a tiramisu without coffee, colored with alkermes: an original, delicate twist that's definitely worth trying again. The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxed and sunny. We'll definitely be back: Osteria al Pontile is a perfect example of how good food, hospitality, and the beauty of the area make Versilia a special destination in every season.
