07/10/2025: "Taste, hospitality, and the Versilia sun at the Osteria al Pontile in Tonfano" On a bright, sunny day, we chose to have lunch at the Osteria al Pontile, in the heart of Tonfano's main square. A truly pleasant location, perfectly reflecting the order and care that distinguish Versilia: well-kept green lawns, flowers everywhere, convenient services, and an overall feeling of harmony and cleanliness. This area also boasts vast sandy beaches, which at the end of the season, with the beach resorts closed, transform into the perfect place for a relaxing after-lunch stroll, just steps from the restaurant. A truly complete experience, combining good food and the beauty of the landscape. The welcome was warm from the start, even for our large dog, who was welcomed and made to feel at ease. It's rare to find such pet-friendly establishments without sacrificing elegance or quality service. Lunch satisfied all the family's tastes. We started with a mixed seafood appetizer with balanced, fresh flavors. Next up was a crispy fried fish and vegetables dish, light and well-executed, and the dish I was most excited about: a clam pasta dish that lived up to every promise: flavorful, fragrant, and perfect. Definitely the highlight of our lunch. We concluded with a tiramisu without coffee, colored with alkermes: an original, delicate twist that's definitely worth trying again. The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxed and sunny. We'll definitely be back: Osteria al Pontile is a perfect example of how good food, hospitality, and the beauty of the area make Versilia a special destination in every season.

01/05/2026: The kitchen is disorganized, and the dining room is suffering! In the dining room, it's impossible to see that the tables don't have numbers but are listed by the person who booked. The waiters wander aimlessly with plates in hand, looking for the last name on the table (INDECENT). The waiters running around the dining room are unsightly. We didn't get the wine, and they didn't even remove the glasses from the table. They were devastatingly inattentive, and the waits were endless. 20 minutes for a simple menu, and the dishes were getting stale. The grill had raw sausage and ice inside. The owner had the nerve to say that she eats it raw, and that raw pork sausage shouldn't be served! And then, at a mixed grill, you can't hear it! Unfortunately, I also work in the restaurant business, and out of 10 employees, my boss would have saved only 1, at most! Mushroom risotto was overcooked. Spaghetti with tomato sauce was also overcooked, and the sauce was inedible. In fact, I left it there. I understand spending less, but I didn't know the price tag of that place. But I'd rather spend €20 more and eat well than go to a place with mediocre food (to be honest) and service. In all my years in the restaurant business, having waiters read your last name on the table instead of the table and room number is unthinkable! Absurd place!

15/08/2025: You can also find special rye bread with cereals, it arrives fresh on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and it lasts up to a week, what can I say about the round pizza with drowned cherry tomatoes, good oven.

28/01/2026: Disappointing. You eat with plastic plates and cutlery, all reheated, so to speak, in the microwave. I had soup, two pieces of fried pasta, and two croutons without a drink for €11.00. A little further away, soup, roast turkey, and coffee, sitting down with a ceramic place setting and stainless steel cutlery, cost €13.00. In my opinion, there's no comparison. To be honest, I won't mention the name of the restaurant, but my only advice is don't stop, but look around. Marfisa, I won't eat there again!

19/06/2026: Really enjoyed our lunch here. We were looking for somewhere that made decent sandwiches though our kids wanted pizza and pasta. The roast beef sandwiches were delicious and spicy salami pizza and tortellini were very good.

10/07/2026: We had the opportunity to spend a wonderful day with the school students, following the previously agreed-upon program: in the morning, the children watched Manuel milk the cows and then make cheese. Afterward, the students tried their hand at a real egg hunt in the surrounding meadows. After a delicious lunch, the children participated in a cookie workshop, beautifully organized by Debora, where they tried their hand at baking cookies. The students enthusiastically participated in the workshop, happy to take home the cookies they made. It was a wonderful experience for all the children, and I highly recommend it to all schools: at Agriturismo da Pasquino, children have the opportunity to spend a peaceful day connected with nature and animals.

22/06/2026: You'll find yourself immersed in nature, surrounded by the colors and scents of the season. You'll enjoy traditional dishes just like at grandma's house! It's also a great place to celebrate birthdays and other events, like first communions.

15/05/2026: An excellent lunch in a unique atmosphere! While visiting the Carnival Museum with my wife, we stopped for lunch at the Bistrò della Cittadella. The restaurant has a large, beautifully decorated Carnival-themed room, located right inside the Citadel. The menu offers an excellent selection of both meat and fish. We tried the tagliatelle with meat sauce, the mushroom and leek gnocchi, and for a main course, two portions of pork loin in tuna sauce with baked potatoes. For a sweet finish, two tiramisu dishes. Everything was excellent, with generous portions and high-quality ingredients. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!

12/05/2026: Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience regarding prices. During the Ducati centenary, I paid €4 for a small bottle of orange juice and €3 for two small bottles of water, prices that seemed far too high for a simple bar. I understand the context of the event, but a modicum of price balance would have been appreciated. Too bad. Response to the arrogant owner: Thank you for your reply, which unfortunately further confirms my negative experience. My review wasn't about the fact that €7 "puts me off," but about the perceived balance between service, product, and price at a simple bar during an event. A customer has the right to politely express their opinion without being mocked or told to "stay home." The issue isn't the €7, but the way a legitimate criticism is handled. All the more reason, after this response, to fully stand by my assessment.

05/04/2026: We had a very disappointing experience here. We arrived to find multiple empty tables available, and the first staff member was welcoming—she even gave us a menu and seemed ready to seat us. However, moments later, a woman who appeared to be the manager came to the door and abruptly told us there was no space available. This was especially frustrating because it was clearly not true, and even more so because I was with my elderly mother. The way we were turned away felt dismissive and unkind, with no real explanation or attempt to accommodate us. It’s unfortunate because first impressions matter, and this experience left us feeling unwelcome. I would not recommend a place that treats potential guests this way.
