25/07/2026: Excellent café for a quick breakfast just steps from the sea. Street parking with a parking meter. Plenty of outdoor seating. A small newsstand/bookstore. Prices are reasonable. Friendly staff.

11/07/2026: Struggling under the influence of the service coordinator, they managed to satisfy everyone, even in very slow times. Generous portions, freshly prepared food. Everything was excellent. Some renovations to the space wouldn't hurt. The place was packed despite the sidewalk work. The work is finished, a nice stroll makes the place look great. The food is very good; I love the penne with shrimp and zucchini. I can only enjoy it here.

22/12/2025: The exterior appearance can be deceiving, but the interior is furnished in a rustic style. The exposed stone walls, a wood-burning fireplace in one room, a counter with a Pietra del Cardoso stone top, and a front panel clad in wood reclaimed from carefully arranged old windows, create a winning and pleasant atmosphere. The service is quick, the staff is smiling, and even the owner is welcoming and happy to chat with customers. The pizzas are very large and thin, well-topped with quality ingredients, and the flavor is very good. Even the draft beer, crafted by a local brewery, is excellent (I tried the red one). The desserts are also good; I tried the pear and chocolate cake. The place doesn't have a lot of seating, so I recommend booking in advance to ensure you get a seat and enjoy an excellent pizza!

21/12/2025: Nice and charming place. Too bad they changed my review. Yes, it's nice and charming, the pizza is good, but they were rude when it came to paying. I paid a higher price for a pizza than I had ordered. It wasn't about the money, but about the honesty, even though I had pointed it out.

12/07/2026: ★☆☆☆☆ Unfortunately, my experience was very negative. We were a group of friends, and one of our friends had booked a table. She was only told that they preferred not to have dogs, but she thought I'd left my dachshund at home. To me, however, she's a member of the family, and I brought her with me. I understand that every restaurant has its own rules and can choose not to accept animals. What disappointed me was the way I was greeted: I felt I was treated with little courtesy and no willingness to find a solution. A more kind and respectful approach would have been enough to prevent a simple misunderstanding from turning into a bad experience. For this reason, I don't think I'll return.

12/05/2026: A truly exceptional place! The atmosphere is calm and pleasant, perfect for enjoying a drink in peace and quiet, away from crowds and noise. The owner is absolutely wonderful: welcoming, warm, and passionate, he takes the time to chat and make customers feel at ease. You almost feel right at home. A rare, authentic, and charming spot that I wholeheartedly recommend!

28/07/2026: they literally pulled the chair from under us. Update: The owner’s response, calling a customer “Little princess,” says more about this pub than my review ever could. We moved two unused chairs from their terrace because the pub was packed for the World Cup final and there was no one around we could ask. If a member of staff had simply told us the chairs couldn’t be moved, we would have returned them immediately. Instead, the owner arrived with security and the chairs were pulled from under us without a single word. We left and watched the match at another place, where the staff brought out extra chairs so everyone could enjoy the game. The contrast in hospitality couldn’t have been clearer. Edit 2: There were already people using chairs from outside when we took ours, so get your facts straight. But thanks for the multi-paragraph meltdown—it proves my review completely hit a nerve. Maybe take your own advice next time because you clearly need it. 🤡

02/07/2026: We came here to watch England v DRC, otherwise we wouldn't have found it - it's in the marina area, pretty remote. Pool tables and big screen TV. I didn't see food served. Decked out as an English pu, but no English staff that I saw. 7 or 8 beers I think, quick service, fine for beer and football.

18/07/2026: It's a terrible idea not to book. It's a mess, with people settling down at their table and not budging even when politely invited. It wasn't a positive experience. I'm sorry about the kindness of the staff, but perhaps they're even too kind compared to the rude people around.

12/07/2026: For a fried fish and a Tennent's, I spent €17. It's not a huge sum. However, the fried fish was very small (5 shrimp, 8 squid, and 4 calamari; I counted them, and I've attached a photo anyway), it was flaccid, and very salty. I ordered it for takeout, but I ate it after 3-4 minutes, as I was in a bathroom next door. In short: it's just not right. I don't usually leave negative reviews (I prefer to keep quiet), but this time I was truly disappointed. It must have been a coincidence, but so be it.

07/08/2026: After driving for almost an hour, convinced I was going to eat "in Lucca," I expected at least a memorable dinner. Instead, it was absolutely average. The food was good, but nothing that justified the entire trip or the final bill. Normal portions, dishes without any particular surprises, and a value for money that, in my opinion, leaves a lot to be desired. For what we ate, €80 for two seemed decidedly too much: I would have paid around €60 without any regrets. In short, if you're looking for a place that makes you say "it was worth it," this wasn't my experience. Rather than leaving enthusiastic, I left feeling like I'd paid for the trip as well as the dinner.
