It's a shame we're from a bit far away, otherwise I'd adopt this bar!

Every morning we had our cappuccino and croissant at this excellent pastry shop.
You have to go early, otherwise there are few good pastries and cakes left. The welcome is as good as their desserts.

01/12/2025: The pastries are good, but it's the worst place in Buralli. Breakfast on December 1 was served, and only two of the clerks weren't keeping up with the customers. We waited ages for a pastry, a coffee, and a cappuccino. To pay, there was yet another line because two (slow) workers couldn't keep up with the volume of customers. It's a shame, because it's a nice place. The tables weren't cleaned between customers. I absolutely don't find it pleasant to have to eat and drink where other people's cups are placed. In my opinion, the quality has dropped, and I'm just talking about this place.

09/12/2025: Today was the Avo Versilia New Year's Eve celebration. About 50 of us gathered for the New Year's Eve lunch.
Odilio is a well-known restaurant in Torre del Lago. The location is clean and not very bright, making it excellent for family lunches, business lunches, or groups of up to 60-70 people.
We enjoyed a well-prepared, traditionally prepared fish menu.
The prices were moderately low, and the staff was friendly. Everything was fine.
17/11/2025: We waited half an hour to order, and an hour to get our pizzas, since they gave priority to takeout orders! This is unprofessional! The pizza isn't as good as recommended...

28/09/2025: We made a reservation and it was the best! We ordered a truffle pizza and it was delicious. The place was very busy and noisy. We didn't wait longer than usual for the food or to order it. The waiters are on a fast track, but it's no wonder given the number of people there. I recommend it!

16/08/2025: They're scammers. The trick is that you have to buy a train ticket at the ticket office. No one tells you anything, and when the ticket inspector comes by, they come at you with a ticket collector ready to extort money from you for not signing in on a post outside the train. Once the train departs, they tell you it was off and do you the favor of issuing a small fine instead of €50 when the tickets are already purchased at their own ticket office. This happened on the train from Lucca to Pisa. It's a shame that these types of tourist scams are encouraged. Obviously, all of us tourists fell for it. Shameful.
14/08/2025: A truly beautiful and historic city, I wasn't expecting it. The center is full of churches rich in monuments. It's a shame that many of them were paid for. Nowadays, many churches, even if they aren't cathedrals, are paid for. For the rest, I really recommend visiting Lucca, especially because it's known for the great Giacomo Puccini. This charming city is worth visiting. 😊

22/11/2025: We'd been recommended a place to eat in the square, and the terrace looked lovely, but inside it was filthy, and the waitress smelled awful of sweat! It was really unpleasant because she was in the dining area the whole time, and I know that puts you off eating! She was wearing wool gloves, which was completely unhygienic, and a fleece jacket. There were wine stains on the floor that hadn't even been cleaned up. And the bathroom… well, you can imagine… The pizza was €10, but the quality was terrible. I'm sure there are much better places to eat.
13/11/2025: Good tasty food and service. Very nice location. Plenty of room inside as the evening was getting too cold for us to sit outside.

19/10/2025: Very high prices for a burger and you pay for the covers to be served in a sad and dated 70s environment.
29/09/2025: The burgers at Lhamburgeria are so good! They're huge and delicious, one is enough for a large dinner. The restaurant's location is excellent, right on the sea. It even has a terrace with a sea view—spectacular! The service is very warm and friendly. We'll be back!
