13/01/2026: A typical village trattoria, with a simple and authentic atmosphere and a welcoming atmosphere that invites you to enjoy a peaceful break and the pleasure of good food. Typical Tuscan seafood and game dishes, not numerous, but expertly prepared with home cooking. All this next to Puccini's house, and surrounded by operatic mementos and memorabilia, tied to the restaurant and the maestro. I highly recommend it.

24/08/2025: Working with the public is certainly challenging, but if your business is an ice cream parlor in one of the most beautiful villages in Garfagnana, a smile and courtesy should be included in the (expensive!) price. Average (low!) flavor, poor selection!

03/09/2025: I spent a lovely day at the beach with my brother. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the kitchen was excellent. The owners are very nice: when we arrived, they provided us with an umbrella closest to the beach, just like the one booked online, but I saw that the weather was a bit unstable. 09/11/2025: This is my second time here, and the second time it's always the same story. It's a birthday table, you call, and they force you to pay €20 per person for an aperitif, or else the food won't all arrive at once, and we'll be forced to do it Roman style. Okay, we accept. The platters arrive with cold food, there's no one-size-fits-all tasting, some items are limited in quantity, and the platters are randomly arranged. They bring some things to some, and other items to others. We complain, and not much is done. To make up for it, they deliver large quantities of subpar food, like cold, poorly made sandwiches, stale focaccia, cold crostini with sausage and frozen mozzarella. We had to ask for some items to be reheated, otherwise inedible. Regardless, we felt bad afterwards because the food clearly isn't good quality. Once can happen twice in a year, I think it's the rule here. Furthermore, the staff, while friendly, doesn't do much to hide the annoyance felt by a (justifiably) dissatisfied table. The place also has terrible acoustics; you have to shout to be heard. Perhaps they'll treat you better if you're two people. Highly discouraged for large tables with a set menu.

24/07/2025: Esistono dei menù per alcuni tipi di colazione, come quella dei pancake ma non sono modificabili in nessun modo. Chiedere della nutella al posto dello sciroppo d'acero, piuttosto che un succo al posto della spremuta è stata una richiesta bocciata in maniera decisamente poco accomodante. Non vedo la difficoltà di aggiungere della cioccolata, direi che è più una presa di posizione che risulta poco educata e non attenta ai bisogni del cliente. Prezzi eccessivi per briosce e caffè vari.

22/07/2025: Slechte service, onvriendelijke en trage bediening. Lang gewacht. Na dat we het personeel een paar keer aangesproken hadden en nog niet geholpen werden, hebben we het terras na een half uur verlaten. Geen excuses niets.

14/09/2025: Conditionally. The pizzas were truly delicious and generously topped. The service was abysmal. We ordered takeout. They said it would take 20 minutes. In the end, it took 45 minutes (!!!). For me, pregnant and with a toddler (2), this was an absolute disgrace. I think they forgot our order. The endless wait and the fact that several guests who arrived after us were served before us unfortunately spoiled the experience for me.

01/02/2026: A pastry shop located a 10-minute drive from the center of Lucca. Entering and window shopping gives a great first impression, but a closer look and tasting reveal many critical points. The prices are higher than average, and the quality of the leavened products is average, neither praise nor disgrace. There's no table service, which is very unpleasant. Various selections of cakes and desserts, but all classic, '90s style: the lack of modern cakes and pastries in general is noticeable. The staff is not very friendly.

21/01/2026: So far, one of my favorite bars for my work break. I'd probably prefer a little more savory options, but that's just personal preference. The two ladies are truly brilliant!

07/10/2025: Very well-spaced spots. It features a large, monitored, and spotlessly clean pool. Restrooms, cabins, and showers are always available and clean. The site is tidy and quiet. Private parking for both bicycles and cars.
