30/10/2025: I've been coming to this pizzeria every time I'm in Lucca for years, and I have to say I'm absolutely satisfied! The change in location has been a huge improvement; the larger space allows for better customer service. The pizza is delicious! I tried a special pizza that wasn't on the menu, but I highly recommend adding it. The ingredients were high-quality and cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you're thinking of going, don't hesitate! Call and make a reservation; you won't regret it. This pizzeria truly deserves 5 stars!

10/09/2025: Excellent pastry shop and café with delicious classic, traditional, and local brioches! Clean atmosphere, street-facing tables (but no table service), and extremely friendly, welcoming, and cheerful staff! Highly recommended for a great breakfast to start your day off right!

22/04/2025: Fui con mis amigas de pasada al Canyon Park y pedimos una picada muy buena con salames y quesos. Mis amigas se pidieron unas sopas toscanas. La pasta frola de pera espectacular !

22/04/2025: Piccolo locale anche carino proprio difronte al ponte del diavolo. Il primo: tortelli al ragù riscaldati al microonde... Altro non abbiamo preso per non rischiare! Peccato perché con poco sarebbe un bel locale.

06/09/2025: Known only for shuttle work. I've never had the pleasure of staying or eating there. The location is obviously beautiful.

22/08/2025: Quiet location and friendly staff. Rooms equipped with all necessary comforts. Cleanliness needs improving: cigarette butts left on the windowsill by the previous guest and bath towels could be cleaner. Small improvements would definitely have a better impact! Recommended, though.

18/10/2025: The problem here isn't the pizza (which I wouldn't eat again) but the owner, who's clearly on his own terms. I walk in, order, get to the cash register, and put my phone on the terminal (as is done everywhere in 2025), and out of nowhere he blurts out a pearl of wisdom: "This isn't Esselunga, you're one of those who doesn't go to Esselunga because mommy pays." Preface: I don't even know this guy, and I don't know why he'd allow himself to offend strangers, who are also customers, for no reason. I have no idea what mental picture he's created; he's certainly not having a good time. The only thing more absurd than his exit is the pizza: rubbery and flavorless. It's almost folklore in Lucca, but if you're not local, I'll spare you the risk: you don't dine here; you're watching a disturbing clown performance.

05/09/2025: Overall, there is nothing special about this place. The pros are clean, the service is pleasant and the prices are not high, but the main minus is that the food is not very good: we took pizza margherita and pizza with mushrooms for the kids, and focaccia and coffee for ourselves. We left 40 euros for everything. Although the kids really like pizza, they did not like this one. And we, in turn, did not like the taste of coffee and focaccia. Therefore, I advise you not to expect anything special from this place.

19/10/2025: We spent 3 nights at the campsite with a camper van and were completely satisfied. The campsite is clean and quiet. The owner is very pleasant and helpful and solves any problems immediately. From the campsite we were in the centre of Lucca in a few minutes by bike. The journey along the river to Pisa is also pleasant.

15/10/2025: Unfortunately, it's pretty run-down and not really well-maintained. Cleanliness was so-so, even though the place was almost empty. A lackluster facility, but a good location, and a quick bike ride into Lucca!

04/09/2025: Our guests said this was the best pizza they'd had for a very long time. We agreed. Courteous service, the best beer in town and immaculately appointed decor made for a very pleasant evening indeed

18/08/2025: We had two very good burgers for dinner, with homemade bread made by the chef, whom we compliment. The service was good, but there was a long wait, although it was pleasant with the jazz background. This is a refined restaurant, where you can eat everything from fish to pizza; for burgers, there's just one simple bun with the option of adding toppings. The sauces for the fries are a bit pricey: ketchup and mayonnaise, with an additional €1.50 each. We recommend a pit stop; the restaurant is open until midnight. Parking is also available for campers.

27/08/2025: I'll just rate the gelato, which three of us had, five flavors in total. The unanimous negative rating was for the excessive amount of sugar and thickeners, the poor mouthfeel, and, finally, the mediocre flavor. I hate to write this, but it was a disappointment, after having come specifically for this place based on the positive reviews we'd read.
