The only downside is that the hot tub was under maintenance. International breakfasts, both savory and sweet, include local delicacies. It's a truly luxury hotel.

17/05/2026: Excellent location on the seafront, with a beautiful and elegant hotel entrance. The room is a bit dated and cramped for three people, but the staff is very friendly. The pool is beautiful, and especially the breakfast room with its sea view. The buffet is excellent, with a wide selection of sweet and savory options. Parking is available in the garage.

31/12/2025: It had been years since I returned, unfortunately I found a truly disorganized team, endless waits despite the place being almost empty, mediocre pizza, I give two stars because once upon a time it was a small place that deserved it.

01/11/2025: The place is very popular, but tonight I was disappointed because they couldn't find a table for dinner for one person, but we could have gone after dinner without any problem. Perhaps there are some inconsistencies. And since ten of us were supposed to go tomorrow night, given what happened, we opted for another place.

16/05/2026: Very good, I come here very often, both for lunch and dinner. Prices are normal for an all-you-can-eat restaurant. The salmon sashimi is truly spectacular, I recommend it. There are many options even for those who don't eat raw fish. Note: the kitchen usually closes half an hour before closing time, so don't come too late.

13/04/2026: What can I say... La Bussola Versilia isn't just a restaurant; it's a true piece of our country's history. Reviewing a place like this requires study and commitment. It's truly not easy, and you can't limit yourself to what you see today (which isn't bad). If the parts could talk, they'd speak with the voices of Mina, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Miles Davis, and more. It's really difficult. I can say that the restaurant's standard remains high.

11/12/2025: Lunch with local friends at the foot of the beautiful village of Barga, about 1 km from the train station. All the dishes we were served were plentiful and of good quality. The menu wasn't particularly extensive, but I think over-the-top options only serve to overwhelm customers. Pasta allo scoglio was plentiful and full of seafood, cooked perfectly al dente. The mixed fried fish was plentiful and dry.

27/12/2025: Unfortunately it was a disappointment to come and eat here. The pizza was low quality and cold. Then we left the toilet platform without even toilet paper. Then we asked for coffee which we didn't have. Oh well... Then to top it off, the bill was very high. I definitely won't be back. For 4 people, almost one hundred euros!!!!!!!! We didn't eat anything.

06/12/2025: During a trip to Tuscany, we stopped by chance at the Pizzeria "Pizza55" in Pietrasanta, and it turned out to be a delightful discovery. The place is small but very well-kept, with a welcoming and quiet atmosphere, ideal for a relaxing break after a stroll through the historic center. We were greeted and served by a truly kind and professional young man, attentive to detail and always smiling. The lady who ran the place was also incredibly sweet and hospitable, helping us feel immediately at ease. We ordered two excellent Pils, a Diavola and a Margherita with tuna, which proved light, digestible, and excellent in flavor. The well-leavened dough and quality ingredients really make the difference. In short, a simple but perfect experience. I absolutely recommend Pizzeria 55 to anyone in Pietrasanta who wants a good pizza served with kindness and care.

07/04/2026: Terrible staff. Two of us arrived, and there were some young men in front of us. The lady who was at the counter with them was respectful and kind, but when it was our turn, she completely changed. I gave priority to my friend, and she gave priority to me. The staff responded with the exact words: "Hurry up, I'm busy." My friend then proceeded to ask for a hazelnut cone. But when it came time to choose a topping, since there were no names on the glass containers, I pointed to it, and the lady responded with: "My goodness, don't you know how to speak?" The ice cream was good, but it's a shame about the disrespectful and rude service.
