03/10/2025: Takeout was easy after a quick phone call. We had pizza and pasta, and we absolutely loved it. The staff was very friendly, and communication in English wasn't a problem either. The atmosphere is lovely :)

22/09/2025: The restaurant is open year-round. Special events are available here. The food is delicious, with attention to detail. The house wine is also delicious. The prices are truly attractive. The Polish waitress carries the entire service on her shoulders! Exceptionally friendly and professional. We'll gladly return for a good dinner 🙂

17/10/2025: A must-try if you want good food, excellent value, and not among the usual tourist spots, yet still just steps from the promenade. The decor and atmosphere are Mediterranean, and seafood is their strong point. The owners are courteous and friendly. It's perfect for both business lunches and special dinners.

12/09/2025: My partner and I took a tour of Garfagnana and stopped here for lunch: an excellent choice! We started with a delicious appetizer, including truly incredible fried porcini mushrooms—perfect frying, 10 out of 10. Next, we had farro soup and tagliatelle with mushrooms, both very tasty and well-prepared. But what made the experience even more special was the lady who served us: extremely kind, friendly, and passionate. When I told her how much I enjoyed the savory tart on the platter, she brought me another piece... on their behalf! An authentic place, excellent value, and a truly unique welcome. Highly recommended; it's exactly what you expect (and hope) to find in such a beautiful area!

Doriana, who was with us from the beginning, was always super helpful, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. We had a truly wonderful time and created the wedding we'd always dreamed of. 15/08/2025: We've been coming to this place for many years. It's a historic pizza spot in Lucca. A family atmosphere welcomes customers and makes them feel at home. The pizza is excellent; I love Calogero's pita bread, which I think is the best. They also have a good selection of beers and desserts; the croccantino is a classic. The place also offers outdoor seating under a pergola overlooking a fully enclosed and well-kept garden, where children can play safely in a small playground.

16/08/2025: The hotel is a little old in terms of furnishings but it is clean and the service is excellent. We had a good time in the restaurant with typical and very good dishes. The service is excellent.

"Da Giando" in Colle di Compito doesn't just make pizza; it creates a work of art of flavor beyond compare. The culinary experience is on another level, thanks in large part to a selection of superior-quality ingredients. Finally, not the usual "melted cheeses" that, as soon as the pizza cools, turn into bricks. Here, the ingredients remain crisp, the dairy products creamy, and the flavor authentic down to the last slice. It's a pizza that speaks volumes: passion for the raw ingredients and respect for the customer. Other pizzerias? They only leave room for sad comparisons. Highly recommended! 02/06/2025: Un piccolo angolo di Grecia a Lido di Camaiore. Locale semplice, carino, in stile greco. Cibo ottimo. Da provare la feta in tutti i tipi possibili. Il giros resta sempre un evergreen, come la moussaka. Buonissima anche la Baklava. Servizio attento.

Menu valido e assortito, servizio cordiale e rapido, conto non proprio economico, n linea con i prezzi medi della Versilia. Ho assaggiato: foglie di vite con riso, feta impanata e moussaka. Quest'ultima non mi ha particolarmente colpito... Esperienza nel complesso positiva.

20/10/2025: 1' I'd like to introduce myself and reply to your post, which actually made me smile in some ways, the way you tried to attack instead of trying to understand our discomfort. I'm the chaperone (I was there, unfortunately none of the waiters ever took me into consideration) of the group of 45 people who were "lucky" enough to eat at your restaurant on Sunday, October 12th. We were there at 1:00 PM. Eating is a manner of speaking!! Nonexistent service, which didn't meet any of our basic requests without repeated reminders. The nonexistent appetizer arrived after 30 minutes, and some diners didn't even get any, including the one next to me. Rice arrived after another 45 minutes, and after half an hour, penne, which I'd call tomato sauce because the fish wasn't visible. I pointed out to the waiter that 7 people hadn't had their first course, and 25 minutes later, the tray arrived. I personally don't drink wine, but I definitely ate bread in the 40 minutes between courses because I was so hungry. I personally asked the younger waiter if he could please bring coffee with dessert because, honestly, it was after 4:30 PM and we also wanted to go to the beach. 2' I want to reassure you right away that there weren't any hooligans present, but couples in their 50s and older from a club who have never had or caused any problems during our trips, quite the opposite. 3' I don't know which plants you're referring to, because beyond the hedge where half the diners were practically hanging, I didn't notice any others. 4' As for the service, I was among the last to arrive and I didn't find any of the things you wrote, and that's incorrect. 5' In my ignorance, having managed a restaurant for 20 years, I dare say that if you accept 45 people, you can't expect them to tone it down, as I was asked several times by a waiter (who evidently recognized me as the chaperone) because with 45 of us, either we're silent or if we talk, it's normal for it to become noisy, and it certainly bothers the other people. Maybe it would have been better not to hire us, for us and for you. "NEVER AGAIN" what you wrote in your reply didn't bother me; on the contrary, it's mutual. Good job, chaperone 😉🫣

12/10/2025: A restaurant with a serious identity crisis, a roadside shack that it would like to be. To say that the waiters were absent is a compliment. To get water and bread, not to mention wine, at a certain point we had to pray to the patron saint of Viareggio. We were a group of 45 people, everything arranged well in advance. We found ourselves faced with a surreal situation: appetizers were given out drop by drop, in fact, some didn't even eat. When we asked to bring something back, we were denied with the excuse that the first courses were arriving. Another gaffe: the first courses arrived after 45 minutes, the children were served after the adults, the child's ravioli were raw, the group's fish first courses were embarrassing, the rice was overcooked like the pasta and both tasteless, the fish was anonymous and absent from the pasta alla trabaccolara. I made a great effort to call it trabaccolara. The highlight was reached with the fried food, cold and almost all vegetables. We ate in batches, some even got hot, and one child's second course was also missing. Never brought anything, and we almost got kidnapped. We arrived at around 1:00 PM and by 4:30 PM we still hadn't finished. We wasted a lot of time, not because of the amount of food, which was so small, but because of the amount of cosmic emptiness between courses. I can't believe how they still manage to have customers. Avoid like the plague. As my grandfather used to say, if I had known, I wouldn't have come!

20/10/2025: Too bad I must have chosen the wrong day, but... Waiting an hour and a half to be told that our order was sold out?!?! We opted for ravioli (just enough in every sense given that there were four of them) and an appetizer (three slices of cured meats, three half bruschettas, and three small pieces of vegetable tart), and the price was decidedly disproportionate to the quality and quantity.

11/05/2025: Un posto meraviglioso, sia la location che il cibo! Molto pulito e ben tenuto. Si vede quando le cose sono fatte con passione, bravi! Cibo ottimo ed ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Porzioni abbondanti e piatti ben curati. Parcheggio comodo che non guasta mai. È veramente da raccomandare!
