17/09/2025: We had a warm welcome from the waitress and chef and they offered a variety of choices for my coeliac and lactose food allergens. The resfaurantbis registered with Italian Coeliac Association and chouces can be made with confidence. Food was delicious. Starter was adapted to suit my food intolerances with lactose free mozzarella and proscito, followed by baked trout in pot I I mushrooms - delicious! Nothing was too much trouble.
14/09/2025: We happened upon it by chance...but I have to say that we had a GREAT time...excellent food and very very friendly staff...a place to recommend.

The staff didn't have gloves, total chaos. For two sandwiches and a plate of fries, a 40-minute wait was insane.

21/08/2025: We went last night, and I must say the experience far exceeded my expectations. The tagliatelle al ragù was simply extraordinary: perfectly cooked pasta and topped with a rich, flavorful ragù. The pork shank with potatoes was truly a surprise: incredibly tender and beautifully seasoned. The service also deserves special mention: the waiters were always attentive and helpful. The wine list is also noteworthy, very extensive and featuring select labels that pair perfectly with the dishes. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made everything even more enjoyable. It's definitely a place we'll happily return to.
03/08/2025: The pizza? Absolutely disgusting!!! We went based on the reviews: the best pizza in Viareggio, the meat reigns supreme...what the heck?! People just don't understand anything. And the steak? First of all, they show it to you raw, and they don't serve it pre-sliced; it looked like it was made.
Terrible service; the waiter doesn't greet you, throws the menus at the table, and it takes forever to eat.
The place is awful; it was incredibly hot, they didn't turn on the air conditioning, the beer arrived warm, the table wobbled... terrible experience.

The place is a bit retro, but it fits the spirit of the place. The owners are lovely.

29/09/2025: The place itself is cute, a little retro, small, with outdoor tables overlooking the street, far back from the promenade, so for a place like this to be considered worthy of returning, there must, in my opinion, also be the price and consequently the quantities, so if you give me a tall tumbler with chips and peanuts for an aperitif, 9 euros is a lot, it costs me the same as on the promenade.

16/08/2025: The hotel is a little old in terms of furnishings but it is clean and the service is excellent. We had a good time in the restaurant with typical and very good dishes. The service is excellent.

21/07/2025: Punto di forza il locale molto carino, soprattutto all'esterno. Piatti mediocri, a quel prezzo a Pietrasanta trovi molto meglio ma la pecca è il servizio. Quando siamo arrivati abbiamo chiesto noi dove sederci avendo prenotato e dopo 30 minuti non era ancora venuto nessuno a chiedere il bere. Piatti sul menu finiti, abbiamo tolto noi i piatti dell'antipasto perchè era già arrivato il secondo e come finale in cassa ti chiede la mancia...

05/11/2025: My wife and I were there in October on a summer evening. The location was beautiful, the atmosphere was family-friendly, the staff were friendly and professional, and the food was excellent, with generous portions. The owner was also very kind and professional, personally coming to our table twice during the evening to make sure everything was fine. We loved everything we tried, especially the spadellata. The quality/price ratio was excellent. Highly recommended, we'll be back!

11/10/2025: Best canolo in Italy.. 10 years ago we visited Sicily. In small town Traomina we find the best canolo ever in Roberto’s deli. He would fill the canolo only when ordered. He said canolo gets wet after 15 minutes so never buy pre-filled canolo. Since then we saw a lot of bakery’s with canolo in window display and never buy . In le lumie they fill the canolo only when ordered in it was the best we had since Roberto in Traomina. We surely come once a week to have some. Keep the high standards!
