22/02/2025: Very charming bar. Warm welcome. Table service. Very good chocolate. Without doubt the best sandwiches in Tuscany! Crispy with just the right amount of olive oil. Particularly the Crudo mascarpone.

24/08/2024: Ristorante del tutto improvvisato.. attese lunghissimi già per prendere l ordinazione. Location bella,ma non basta per fare un buon ristorante. Qualità del cibo sufficiente ma sicuramente non giustificano i prezzi delle pietanze.

04/02/2025: Negative experience, we came here on Sunday, the place was practically empty, they told us that they would prepare one of the free tables for us (there were 3 of us, an adult and two children, ed.), but then they came back from the kitchen and told us that the table they had prepared for us was needed to add to a table and so we had to go elsewhere without being able to eat.

Very helpful in organizing the event, they took care of every detail with passion and professionalism! We used many different environments to make every moment special, alternating outside and inside, we also had the symbolic ceremony in the garden. Very valid plan B in case of bad weather. It was a beautiful day that we will never forget! Thanks Brunella and thanks Marco!!!

12/10/2024: Conosciamo e frequentiamo questo ristorante da tanti anni, ed abbiamo deciso io e mio marito di organizzare da loro un pranzo con amici in occasione del nostro 20 anniversario di matrimonio... Non finiremo mai di ringraziare la Taverna per aver realizzato un evento in un modo così... perfetto...curato nei minimi dettagli, con grande professionalità e abilità culinaria , che già tantissimi partecipanti hanno elogiato !! Siete stati davvero... speciali!!! Avete anche avuto la gentilezza di permettere ai nostri ospiti di ammirare il vostro splendido presepe meccanico... davvero una giornata indimenticabile!!!! 06/02/2025: This is a lovely little bistro in the middle of the main Piazza in Pietrasanta. Now usually I don’t go to a place with less than 4 starts in google but this time 4 of my friends had a steak here and they said it was amazing and I was so happy I did. Sometimes you have to lean into your discomfort. I ordered only the steak with a side of spinach, a glass of their homemade house red and finished off a basket of bread socked with olive oil. Also the oil is homemade and if I could I would bathe in it.. I loved it!! And I only eat steak once or twice a year, so I’m so happy that I tried it here. I wish I could comment on the rest of the menu but I went there expressly to taste what my friends were all raving about. One of my friends went there 3 days in a row and ate the steak. Once was enough for me because I don’t have the digestive power I used to have.

22/01/2025: Pizza buona ma prezzi alti e cameriere troppo insistente, di quelli che non ti lasciano in pace se non prendi più cose… una chiacchiera continua. Volevamo due pizze e ci siamo ritrovate con un antipasto fuori menù da 16 euro e due coperti da 4 euro ciascuno.. etc

23/03/2025: Ho preso un filetto e verdure alla griglia. COTTE BENE E GUSTOSE. Ci tengo a questa recensione perché sono stato in alcuni ristornati "gourmet" della zona e - oltre che pagare il doppio per la stessa cosa - ho mangiato molto peggio. Al Viale si mangia bene, c'è cortesia e un aria semplice, di comunità. Per chi oaice questo tipo di ambiente allora vale davvero la pena. E se invece vi importa di mangiare bene allora l'OK vale per tutti

23/03/2025: My husband and I have been frequenting this restaurant as friends for many years, but due to the persistent and unnerving waits to eat we will not go there again. The last time we were 4 and after 1 hour and 40 minutes and several reminders, seeing others served even though they had arrived after us, we left in a huff (without paying for the beers and wine already consumed while waiting). Fortunately there are many other restaurants a few steps away where we have had lunch in normal times. Today, in order not to leave anything hanging, we paid the bill that the owner still had clearly in view and instead of understanding our motivated reaction she only showed us the damage suffered for an order not consumed. We were the ones who were disappointed and much more than her....
