26/06/2025: Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and drinks available any time of day. A tobacco shop is also included. Large parking lot across the street and an ATM next door. We love coming here. 👍🇩🇪

20/06/2025: I stayed here for 5 days for a conference. This hotel claims to be an upscale hotel but it's not. First they gave me a room in the square above the art workshop, which means I had to drag my heavy suitcase above tiny narrow stone steps multiple times. There was no elevator and the stairs were so narrow that I had to go sideways. Next the walls are paper-thin. The person in the room next to me was having a normal conversation and I could hear everything. The windows don't have any shades and you can't close the shutter. Which means I was kept awake all night due to the light coming from the light bulbs outside. I could also hear any conversation that was happening on the square as the windows are single panel and filter no sounds. Also it was super hot and humid in June when I stayed here. So everyday I would sweat through 2-3 pairs of clothing. However they had no laundry service for the week I was there. I had to resort to washing my clothes in the sink with water and drying them over the shower. Lastly the place is super remote which might be a plus for some people. However, when my flight from Florence was canceled I couldn't book something immediately because I had to figure out the logistics of going anywhere from this hotel. So if you like your creature comforts, and get a good night's sleep, I will not recommend this hotel.

11/08/2025: Excellent gelateria outside the historic center, with unique flavors that showcase the artisanal craftsmanship. Absolutely excellent value, and the lactose-free flavors are every bit as good as the "traditional" ones. A must-visit if you're in Lucca!

03/09/2025: A surprising gelato shop: 3 scoops of gelato instead of 2, at a truly amazing price! The owner is incredibly kind and knowledgeable, recommending pairings and describing the most unique flavors, all handmade and irresistible. In addition to gelato, you can also enjoy custom yogurts and milkshakes, perfect for a refreshing and delicious break. A place you'll definitely want to return to, perhaps with friends in tow!

27/07/2025: A wonderful little family-run café bar. All the staff are incredibly friendly. A family-friendly atmosphere. Everyone always has a smile on their face. We'd love to come back. Everything is done with love.

Non ci siamo concentrati sui primi, che, però, sono sicura che meritano: abbiamo provato la tartare come antipasto (tra l'altro servita con maionese fatta in casa) ed era davvero incredibile! Poi abbiamo preso una fiorentina, servita con un contorno a scelta tra quelli proposti e, devo dire, ottima! Materie prime bene selezionate e sanno lavorarle a modo! Nota di merita per la buonissima focaccia che servono insieme al pane, suppongo fatta in casa!

25/04/2025: On the recommendation of a bartender we went to this restaurant. A very enjoyable experience from start to finish. Photonic food, the truly special beef tartare is to be recommended. Very welcoming and helpful owner. Excellent range of wines to accompany the meal. We were also lucky enough to meet some wonderful people who made it a special evening. Thank you so much. 12/11/2024: Fui con unos amigos italianos a este restaurante un domingo... tengo que decir que me encantó la comida y especialmente la experiencia. Porque estaba con la gente local, la comida acababa de llegar y estaba más que feliz con plato tras plato. Quizás era un menú fijo pero me encantó todo lo que sacaron... la charcutería, el crostini, la pasta y luego el postre. Había un 2o, carne, por supuesto, ofrecido, pero solo una persona lo pidió ... era ciervo y yo tenía un poco, muy bueno. (tenían algunas otras cosas, jabalí y pollo) ... Yo tenía el postre como era mi última noche en Italia ... Yo tenía el Tiramisu. Toda la comida y la experiencia fue tan memorable. Había un gran grupo de personas celebrando un cumpleaños... fue una sensación encantadora ser parte de un grupo en Italia... Gracias por eso. Tengo que mencionar a los camareros / propietarios? Anticiparon todas sus necesidades y tenían un gran sentido del humor al respecto... ¡Ve ahí! Es la auténtica experiencia italiana.
