I migliori ristoranti in Lucca

23/08/2024: Ottimo posto per piatti pronti di grande pregio - sia di pesce che si terra - ma anche alimentari: salumi, formaggi, frutta e verdura etc. Certo i prezzi non sono "popolari" ma d'agosto al Forte non si può pretenderlo. Alta qualità e cortesia sono comunque assicurate: ci sono stato tante volte e non sono mai rimasto deluso. Raccomando anche il pane, semplicemente spettacolare!

08/08/2024: We came here for lunch after reading good reviews and were not disappointed. The food was incredible. Mushroom soup, pasta with pork and fried chicken and mushrooms. Simone grows the mushrooms nearby and everything is very fresh. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was excellent. I could not recommend Da Beppe any more highly. By far the highlight of our trip. Merci beaucoup, Simone.

03/11/2024: I came with my partner to have lunch on the terrace, from the beginning we were amazed by the truly spectacular view, for the food we had a truly excellent tagliolini with squid and a cod on saffron cream, something wonderful, and finished it all with a delicious tiramisu and crumble, highly recommended, well done, keep going, TOP

15/10/2024: Very good, dishes cooked and presented very well ❤️ exceptional wine and incredible view. It's a shame about the service, the waiters who take the orders are not very friendly, they make up for the others, the boy who serves the wine is very sweet and explains everything to you and the girl who serves at the table is very polite. Not good coffee. For everything you see we spent €156

06/08/2024: There are two questions at the beginning of a possible visit: Do you want to sit comfortably in a pleasant atmosphere, or do you want to eat a fantastic pizza for little money? If the answer to question one is absolutely positive, you have no business with Scacco Matto. You sit more or less in a backyard on beer benches at long wooden tables. But if that doesn't matter, you will be rewarded with a really delicious pizza from the wood-fired oven. I would almost go so far that you don't have to try any other pizzeria in Viareggio. Since the visit took place at the beginning of our vacation, I may adjust this statement later. I can hardly imagine it though. I didn't pay attention to the individual prices of the pizzas, but with three pizzas (Salciccia, 4 Formagi, Gorgonzola) with water for €32.50, I no longer have any questions. A clear, definitive recommendation.

It offers a wide selection of sandwiches and large burgers, capable of filling you up. Classic showcase of canned drinks and commercial beers. Prices appropriate to the quality of the product served.

14/11/2024: Buona pizzeria storica della zona, dall'aspetto "anni 80". Si caratterizza per la classica pizza toscana, bassa e ben condita con materie prime di qualità, ben digeribile. Buono il dolce di produzione propria, come pure il gelato. Servizio efficiente, facilità di parcheggio nelle vicinanze. Pensavamo di spendere qualcosa di meno, ma forse il prezzo è stato influenzato dalla qualità delle materie prime utilizzate

08/07/2024: I've never been to the place because I've always ordered them from home. Excellent pizza and cecina. The focaccias are delicious. Good prices and discounts through Just Eat. Some delays in delivery are obvious and understandable, especially on days of high demand. Those who don't want to risk this, leave the house and go get them :-).

12/05/2024: Delicious pizza, light and crunchy, I recommend trying the ones with Il Battato!! The lady is very kind, the environment is small but familiar

20/07/2024: The place is microscopic, and like most pastry shops (and ice cream shops) in Lucca there is no outdoor seating even if there is space available 🤷🏻, so with eight customers you have already run out of seats. Rather inexplicable that on a Saturday morning at 10.30 there is only one person to do everything, and of course, that's fine because the service was impeccable anyway, but only the cleanliness issue suffers if there is no one to help from time to time a sponge wipe on the tables to remove crumbs and various drips. The quality of the food is good with a good variety of vegetable variations of the cappuccino, the pastries are also good, fresh and with a decent variety.

09/07/2024: Very nice and welcoming pub, the owners are very kind, friendly and helpful. There are many varieties of beer (very often there are new ones) and in addition to the food you can find delicious desserts prepared by the owner. There is seating both inside and out and there is plenty of (free) parking My friends and I go there very often, sometimes we bring our board games or play with one of the guys from the club. If you have never been there I recommend you try it!

15/06/2024: I have been frequenting this Pub since it opened, over the years the young owners have grown both professionally and in their knowledge of the products and raw materials. This personal growth is also reflected in the restaurant which has completely changed its appearance over the years. Every time I go back I always find something new, both in the decor and in the large selection of beers on tap (now we're at 10!!) and in the menu (both savory and sweet!). St. Patrick's Day and Beer Festivals are epic!

01/11/2024: We had dinner in this place during the Lucca Comics, stopping completely by chance. Very nice and refined atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, it's a shame that the quality/price ratio is terrible. The first courses had less than 80g of pasta and were not very seasoned while the cuts of meat did not seem to be more than 150g. The quality of the meat was good, but the cooking was wrong twice. We asked for it to be rare and first it arrived medium/rare and, after several requests for replacement (also and above all requested due to the excessive cost for the portions arrived), it arrived wrong again. It's a shame because the meat seemed to be of high quality. As soon as we left we bought the focaccias at Pam across the street because we were all still hungry. Final bill: 133 euros for 3 first courses, 2 cuts and 1 bottle of wine.

30/08/2024: Ottimo ristorante sul mare. Tra i migliori di Viareggio. Hanno anche il ristorante a pietrasanta dove andare la sera. Primi piatti squisiti e ottima frittura. Anche i dolci super. Prezzi veramente concorrenziali. Da venire a pranzo.

25/07/2024: Historic place in Viareggio, here traditions and raw materials are respected at the highest level. Personally I recommend sitting inside where there is air conditioning and the story room. A little attention to detail and it would truly be a perfect place.
