08/04/2026: We were very pleased with the very friendly and helpful staff. Even on a day when they were supposed to be closed, we were served. There were four of us adults and a very welcome dog. Recommended for those who love Tuscan cuisine. The cuisine is vast and delicious.

28/08/2025: We had a great time at dinner last night, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the food was plentiful and tasty. A great find, we'll definitely be back.

25/08/2025: We stopped in Torre del Lago Puccini with our caravan and arrived at this place in the evening. We were warmly welcomed, and the playground was huge for a restaurant. Surrounded by greenery, it was truly beautiful. I had a delicious pizza, and the kids had a kids' menu. The price was super fair.

14/03/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance and were amazed! Excellent wine, excellent staff, and a stunning location. A lovely stroll through Pietrasanta with a nice stop.

08/03/2026: As we all know, in a restaurant, the quality of the food is very important, but good service is everything. Excellent food served with a delightful smile, spontaneous yet highly professional, in a unique setting that will stay with you forever, are the reasons I'll definitely return.

19/05/2026: We walk around Lucca looking for busy restaurants which we hope is a good sign. We had a very simple but delicious meal starting with a complimentary Prosecco. I saw Pici so we had to try it. Fresh with a delicious sauce. The spinach was delicious as well. Great service with a smile.

18/05/2026: I ate there when I was at the summer camp. It was a lifesaver, the hotel food was awful, and when we went to eat there it was like a miracle. The food was delicious, especially the lemon sorbet.

08/05/2026: Through friends who recommended it, we came to dinner here. The location is unique, and the food is excellent. Fried fish from the pier is delicious. I also recommend the warm seafood salad and tiramisu. Bravo!

04/05/2026: The panoramic terrace is its only selling point. The rest of the place is disappointing: one tagliolini is dry, as pictured, the other greasy, and the fried food is bland. The wine list lacks passion. As we left, we smelled like the kitchen. You're only paying for the view, but the food doesn't justify the price. Not recommended in winter. All in all, a negative experience.

12/04/2026: Very careful about gluten-free, although I suggest toasting the bread because, as we unfortunately know, it isn't very good eaten cold.

12/04/2026: I had the opportunity to have lunch there for a friend's communion. The atmosphere was very welcoming, the staff very friendly, and the food was all delicious, but above all, very fresh. Compliments to Nicolò (the chef), top notch!! Recommended! I'll definitely be back if I have the chance.

30/11/2025: The food is really good, they take everything a little bit slow to deliver it, but because it's a restaurant mainly for take-away, there are very few tables, but apart from everything, the food is excellent.

25/01/2026: Nice place away from the chaos, the guys are all great... I always feel great when I leave there. We always order the fried pasta (delicious) because the tomato sauce is exceptional; the pizzas are excellent, with beautiful toppings, but I tried the new sandwiches and was amazed! We had the tempura shrimp sandwich (pictured) and the tuna one, delicious, we weren't expecting them. Well done, well done, well done! P.S. The desserts are also very good and highly recommended. (P.S.: The pizzeria has moved from the restaurant, which is now located on Via Romana.)

17/05/2026: I've been to Bonobao several times and have always had a great experience. The place is small and cute, with a bench to sit on for drinks. The guys wrap everything up nicely, writing the names of the sandwiches on the foil and leaving the bag closed with a stapler so everything stays warm until you get home. Drinks are placed in a separate bag so the sandwiches don't get cold. The menu is super cute, in pure geek style, with Zelda, Kirby, Mortal Kombat-themed sandwiches, etc. If you don't want anything on the menu, you can create your own piadina or sandwich by writing on WhatsApp or directly on the spot in a notepad. You can order takeout (on your own or via Deliveroo) or dine in. The staff is kind and friendly, and always a pleasure to chat with. It used to be open later at night, but the city changed the hours. The phrases you find at the kiosk are fun, in true Lucca style. The only drawbacks are: - Parking, unfortunately, being at Giannotti, requires either paying or double parking near the kiosk, but be prepared to move it because there are people who rightly need to leave. - They rarely answer the phone at all. We've often had problems because we weren't sure if they were open. If you're passing by, no problem, but we live far away and making a waste of time isn't ideal. I understand, however, that if they're busy during a busy period, it's not easy to manage the phone, but they could call back or text once they're done (once, I got a response after a week and a half). Otherwise, it was a positive experience: good food for a quick snack, they can also make vegetarian sandwiches, and there's even a sweet piadina with Nutella for those with a sweet tooth.

11/05/2026: We were supposed to go to another restaurant in the area, but it was closed for a private party. I asked the manager where I'd go for dinner. He sent me to Beppino, and I'd say he was right. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was the place I like: rustic but well-kept, the staff were kind and friendly, and the dinner was excellent, featuring traditional local products. I was also satisfied with the bill, which was very good value for money. So, what can I say? I'll be back when I'm in the area and will recommend it to friends and readers. Bye!

04/05/2026: Don't be fooled by the simplicity of the place or its suburban location: pizza here is a serious business. The atmosphere is very casual and no-frills, just like the pizzerias of old, but the quality of their gluten-free pizza is astonishing. It's hard to find anything this good: light, tasty, and carefully crafted. If you're looking for substance and authentic flavor, this is the place.
