05/06/2026: We were at this restaurant for the first and last time tonight. The restaurant was busy, and apparently the food here is supposed to be good. Maybe I was just unlucky. I ordered a mixed seafood platter for €20, but there wasn't a single piece of fish on it. Just shellfish. Since I do enjoy seafood, I didn't say anything. Unfortunately, the tubes and the other seafood were lukewarm to cold. The portion of fries I ordered as a side dish for €6 was simply ridiculous. I think there were between 20 and 25 fries on the plate. What's more, it only arrived after I'd already eaten half of the seafood platter. Luckily, there was enough white bread on the table that I was satisfied. The waiter was very nice, though. I ate much, much better and felt full during the previous days when we were in Sardinia.

08/04/2026: We were very pleased with the very friendly and helpful staff. Even on a day when they were supposed to be closed, we were served. There were four of us adults and a very welcome dog. Recommended for those who love Tuscan cuisine. The cuisine is vast and delicious.

14/07/2026: An hour and a half of waiting to eat. I didn't eat anything. My partner spent 30 euros on a seafood starter, which was absurd and it wasn't even full. He rejected it.

12/04/2026: This seafood restaurant is located in the upper part of Como, far from the traditional lake views, yet still offers a pleasant and authentic experience. The location, overlooking a road and not particularly charming, doesn't help the atmosphere, but it's offset by other decidedly positive aspects. The ingredients are incredibly fresh and prepared with simplicity and honesty, in true osteria style: simple dishes, without any elaborate touches, yet genuine and convincing for this very reason. A cuisine that focuses on substance rather than appearance. The wine cellar is well-stocked and in keeping with the setting, while the rustic, tidy, and warm atmosphere immediately puts you at ease. The service deserves special mention: knowledgeable, attentive, and punctual, truly impeccable and capable of elevating the overall experience. The prices are fair and in line with the offerings. This restaurant is recommended for those who want to eat fresh seafood, without being pretentious but with quality and care.

04/03/2026: A small takeout pizzeria offering larger-than-average pizzas at a discounted price. It's not my favorite pizza, but for takeout at that price, there's little better.

10/06/2026: Wednesday night 8pm, just around the corner from our B&B. A simple small pizzeria, good welcome even though we speak no Italian. This is excellent food and very good value for money.

20/06/2026: Young and friendly staff. The tordelli (€10) are delicious, and the panna cotta with strawberries (€4) is delicious. Cover charge is €2. I recommend booking.

20/06/2026: Guys, if you're looking for a quiet place with good food, you've found it. The house wine is a must-try.

02/05/2026: Honestly, the prices are very good considering the location. A small three-flavor gelato is €3, a popsicle is €2. The girls are very nice, friendly, and fast. The gelato is good.

02/10/2025: The food is always good, but over the years it's lost its character, it's grown considerably, adding more and more tables, and like almost all the places in the area, it's getting a bit snobbish... A focaccia, on average, has reached 9 euros; with three focaccias for two, a couple of beers, a dessert to share, and two coffees, you can easily get to around fifty euros... I'm sorry, but that's really too much.

01/09/2025: A bar where you can grab a coffee as early as 6 a.m., it's already open, and except for Mondays, when it's closed, it's always open on Christmas Day, January 1st, and any holiday. For me, who wakes up early for work, that's a great thing. The owner and staff are always very kind, the management is family-friendly, and the atmosphere is bright and clean.

21/07/2026: A restaurant where you feel like a welcome guest. The dishes are top-quality, made with fresh ingredients. The terrace offers a splendid view of Viareggio, and the sunset makes it all even more breathtaking.

30/05/2026: The menu doesn't match what you see online, neither in terms of dishes nor prices, and since I'm vegetarian, I only had vegetarian options for fried foods. The smell wasn't great, but the food was good and the staff was friendly.
