I was in Lucca for work and had the opportunity to try gelato at this gelateria, and I can say without a doubt that it's one of the best gelatos I've ever had. The quality is truly high, and you can taste it from the first bite. I got a medium cup with three flavors. Prices were reasonable. I'll definitely be back, as there are other flavors to try and other types of gelato to try.

Had a lovely gelato here after finishing a meal nearby. There are no individual seats/tables, but there is a sort-of square bench outside that many people can sit on and eat their gelato. The flavors were tasty! The girl working here was not exactly friendly, but she did her job well and gave generous portions. Stop by if you’re in the area!

15/03/2026: My son had already been there for his birthday and he told me he had eaten well there. This afternoon my husband and I went and I must say we had a great time. Excellent food, fantastic welcome, very fast waiters. I will definitely be back, well done everyone.

08/12/2025: A must-see for every Viareggio resident. Without a doubt, the best rotisserie in town. Fair prices and superb food, especially the roast potatoes. They also offer gluten-free options. In addition to takeout, they also offer the option of dining in a beautifully appointed setting in true Viareggio Art Nouveau style. Highly recommended for everyone, tourists and locals alike (though I don't think there's a single Viareggio resident in the entire city who hasn't eaten at Fila at least once!)
