13/07/2024: I want to be honest: initially I was a little skeptical. Then confident of the average reviews and seeing that many people, apparently local, were sitting there, I took courage. And I'll tell you about my experience. First of all, very kind staff. Despite the reserved tables and our failure to book, they managed to accommodate us in the best possible way. We ordered two first courses (spaghetti with seafood and pici with sea cicada pesto) and then continued with the turbot. It was all great, but the turbot was truly spectacular! It is a delicate fish, you need to know how to cook it well. Especially when you make it in the oven with potatoes and cherry tomatoes (Isola style). The risk of ruining the meat is high. And instead it was really well cooked. Then a focus on the bitters at the end meant that we really fell in love with this place. I will happily return when I pass through Viareggio again. Advised.

12/11/2024: From a red carpet entrance through a wraparound staircase to attractive dishes. We ate excellent first courses washed down with a glass of wine recommended by the kind and knowledgeable staff. Definitely worth returning and highly recommended.

25/11/2024: Abbiamo cenato in gruppo con amici e parenti. Tagliata di tonno di scarsa qualità, fredda e di quantità davvero ridicola. La pizza era passabile ma non come la descrive il proprietario che pecca di grande presunzione. Tempi di attesa lunghi e personale poco attento, poco sorridente, lento..... Quasi inadeguato. Personalmente non ci torneremo più

31/07/2024: I ordered a tuna stake that was simply frozen inside and absolutely impossible to be eaten. The “garnish” of the tuna was composed by a single slice of eggplant, one of bel pepper and one of zucchini. After leaving this place we had to go to another restaurant in order to eat a proper dinner. Even though we told the waiter about the frozen fish, nothing was done, he just ran back into the kitchen. Extremely disappointed by this experience, by far one of the worst experiences that I’ve ever had in a restaurant.

15/08/2024: Un posticino incantevole lontano dal caos della Versilia e con qualche grado meno per godersi una buona birra e pietanze bavaresi. Abbiamo optato per lo stinco avvolto nella pancetta e il currywurst (entrambi serviti con contorno) ed erano veramente buoni! Idem per i dolci. Prezzi nella media ma merita per il cibo e la tranquillità.

Cucina semplice ma ben fatta e di buona qualità,ci siamo alzati dopo 3portate per niente appesantiti,anzi..il tutto per una cifra più che onesta.. Un grazie speciale alle cameriere molto attente al servizio e in più sempre sorridenti e cordiali con i clienti. Veramente bravi ✌🏻
