We had lunch with friends in a very simple restaurant with an outdoor veranda. The first courses were delicious: Lucchese tordelli with ragu and macaroni with wild boar. The second courses were excellent: sliced ​​beef, fried chicken, and rabbit. And to finish, the typical Lucchese torte coi becchi. Water, wine, and coffee, all for €40.

A very simple and charming place. A very homely cuisine where you can enjoy local dishes, definitely freshly cooked. In the winter, the upstairs dining room has a wonderful fireplace that's always lit. The food is very good, some dishes could perhaps be improved, but the value is excellent! Fair prices, €30 per person for a hearty meal. It must be lovely in the summer too, with the outdoor terrace.

We found ourselves by chance in this truly enchanting house converted into an inn... furnished in the style of times past... and you feel invaded by a homely, family atmosphere. Excellent food cooked just like grandmas used to... very kind and attentive service. We will definitely be back and I recommend anyone who hasn't been to try this enchanting place.

20/04/2026: I stayed for two nights on a business trip. It was excellent in every way: the room was simple but spotlessly clean, the dinner was excellent, the staff were incredibly friendly, and I felt right at home. I'll be back!
06/04/2026: We returned after a few years, and "Eliseo" continues to be an excellent choice both as a B&B and as a restaurant. The Easter lunch was plentiful and delicious; the spinach flan deserves special mention. Eliseo remains our go-to in Garfagnana.
