20/08/2024: Our recent visit to this venue turned out to be an amazing experience. It was our first time in this restaurant, chosen out of curiosity to try a new environment, and our expectations were greatly exceeded. The atmosphere is enchanting, with vintage furnishings with attention to the smallest details, which contributes to creating a welcoming and refined environment. The staff proved to be extremely friendly and professional, with constant and discreet attention to the customer from the entrance to the end of the evening. The quality of the food was absolutely exceptional. The ingredients used stand out clearly for their freshness and quality, higher than the city average, while the dish combinations are the result of meticulous culinary research. In particular, we appreciated the variety of pizzas, available in three different doughs. The artisanal chips turned out to be a pleasant surprise, with a delicious and authentic flavour. The meal ended in a sublime way with cannoli, tiramisu and cheesecake which delighted our palates. We then returned three more times 😋 during a two-week holiday in Syracuse!

22/08/2024: We had dinner for 2. The owner was very courteous and patient in finding me a table even if I hadn't booked. I recommend booking. Dishes masterfully cooked by expert hands, excellent even in quantity, beware of anyone who says otherwise. Taking a photo of the dish is simple but I would like to publish instead the scrap of clams that were in the spaghetti with clams.

25/08/2024: Siamo arrivati di sera ad un orario spropositato, intorno alle 23:00, e ci hanno accolto gentilmente comunque. Abbiamo mangiato ottime pizze, cotte in maniera eccellente e per nulla pesanti da digerire. Lo consiglio a chiunque passi per Siracusa

24/08/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo locale a pochi passi dalla piazza del Duomo. Abbiamo ordinato due pizze semplici ma molto buone, una bufala ed angela (con pomodorino e piccante). L'aspetto delle varie portate, che abbiamo anche visto su altri tavoli, erano davvero invitanti. Le pizze sono state sopra le aspettative, davvero gustose e stile napoletano contemporaneo. I ragazzi che ci hanno servito sono stati molto cordiali e disponibili, si meritano tutti e 5 i punti.

12/08/2024: Fantastic welcome and preparation, the whole dinner can be part of a positive experience especially for the quality and care in the dishes eaten. We made a selection of appetizers and by listening to the suggestions we also balanced the choice of first and second courses, up to the desserts. The suggested wine also overcame our skepticism because it was perfect for our choices. To top it off I have to say that the foie gras was one of the best I've ever eaten. Thanks to all of you

23/08/2024: Very pleasant experience. The quality of the food is truly remarkable, as is the location, pleasantly inserted in one of the small streets of Ortigia. It is in the restricted traffic zone, near the "duck" fountain, so allow for car parking, which is prohibited for non-residents. Reservations recommended especially for dinner. Prices appropriate to the context.

21/08/2024: The place is furnished with grandmother's furniture: wooden tables, doilies, centerpieces and very eye-catching vases, decorations, paintings... what can I say, wonderful! I felt like I was at my grandmother's house. The environment and the service were incredible: the staff was very friendly and the situation was dreamlike. The food was nothing short of exceptional, faultless, a joy for the palate and I'll tell you, even the house wine was a beauty. Let's say that I encountered the problems when I went to the bathroom: I came across my worst nightmare, the killer doll from my grandmother's house. Once this obstacle was overcome, the evening was a blast. I would go back again tomorrow (doll aside).

13/08/2024: We’ve been coming to Ortgia 18 years but found the average restaurant offering inspiring and had largely given up, opting to cook dinner at home, and have breakfast out. Happily, Nostos opened near by and we made a booking. The restaurant is decorated to give a lovely intimate atmosphere with subtle lighting and Bossa Nova music playing. The staff were attentive and kind. My dining partner had a selection of arancini and fried squid with fries, while I had caponata followed by sea bream. All was delicately prepared and bursting with flavour. Obviously made with passion and love. The cannolo and lemon sorbet rounded off the meal. The house white wine was very nice. A great dining experience for a reasonable price. We’re looking forward to bringing our guests here. Totally recommend

04/08/2024: We had dinner two nights ago. It tastes divine, I had stuffed squid with an orange aftertaste, never tasted like this, to date the best I have ever tasted. Courteous waiters, quiet place. Absolutely worth going there. Congratulations again to the chef

18/08/2024: The best arancino I ate during my stay in Sicily. Wide choice of flavors and there is the possibility to also choose cutting boards or rotisserie such as pizzas and rustici. We took ragù, mushrooms and horse meat. The classic is the best nothing to take away from others.

11/07/2024: The very beautiful structure is in a central position with respect to the town but at the same time quiet. We also stayed here two summers ago and really appreciated the renovation work carried out in the meantime. Fortunately, it has maintained the traditional characteristics of the place with taste. The management is family-run and you can perceive the attention of the owners and all the staff towards the guests. Even in the dining room, impeccable service, plentiful and excellent quality food.
