A really lovely place! The fish was amazingly prepared and all the dishes were very delicious. The Ambiente was very enjoyable with an open stage night and the service always authentic and friendly.

We had an excellent experience at this restaurant, which we had spotted and which was also recommended by our B&B. We were craving good fish and were delighted by the calm atmosphere, the time the waiter took to explain the dishes, the flexibility in customizing our meal, and the introduction of delicious specialties and chilled wine recommendations. It was actually through chatting with the staff that we learned about Bronte pistachios and added a visit there to our itinerary. All the best, and thank you for this pleasant experience.

Small place with a soul. We arrived at rainy day, but this didn’t made the stay in this cute place any worse. We had amazing twisted arancini, orange salad and the catch of the day. We left with great tastes in our mouth and tummy and happy that we find such a jewel.

The best culinary experience in five days in Sicily! The caponata alone was divine – bursting with flavor and wonderfully balanced, without being swimming in oil. The fennel and orange salad was divine, wonderfully fresh and aromatic. And the pasta with anchovies and toasted breadcrumbs was a completely new and fantastic taste sensation for us. We especially appreciated receiving a little story and background information about each dish – it made our day in Syracuse even more special. We are so glad we were here and would love to come back anytime!

Dinner at fish bar ortigia was very nice. Fresh gamberoni grilled, fritura calamari also very good. A quiet place a bit outside the busy city. Emily Service and accomodating for portions for kids.

This is a great little restaurant. Does what it says on the door - great seafood. The swordfish steak with pistachio was exceptional. Highly recommended for seafood lovers.

17/09/2025: Fantastic atmosphere, the ambiance of the place, its decor, communicative, polite, smiling and helpful team, tasting the dishes served was pure pleasure, really worth it!
16/09/2025: Walk up the street from Archimedes Square... look around, turn your head to the left and luck will smile on you! At the end of a pretty little courtyard, a Chiodo waits patiently for you. The welcome is warm, the service very professional, the dishes very well cooked with good local products. Thank you again for this great lunch (I forgot the stylish decor and the interesting choice of wines).
