We discovered Ortigia while researching pizzerias in the area during our vacation. The pizza and salad were fantastic. We told the waiter what we wanted, and his recommendations were excellent.

The pizzas are high-quality and absolutely delicious. The place is quite crowded, so it’s best to make a reservation—especially if you’d like to sit outside. The service could be improved; we sat outdoors and felt the staff weren’t as attentive as they could’ve been. Overall, though, I still recommend this place for its excellent pizza and lively atmosphere.

Not quite as cozy as some of the other restaurants close by, but the pizza is really fantastic. Good service, great drinks and very good value. So overall can highly recommend

This was the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. The ingredients are amazing, the crust just melts in your mouth and the flavours are from another dimension. Definitely try this place!

07/06/2026: A truly beautiful setting, with perfect adherence to Sicilian details. Excellent value for money, and you can even create a small cave at least eight meters deep. And let's not forget the very kind staff, thank you.

26/05/2026: Best pasta I’ve had in Ortygia/Siracusa hands down. I’ve been looking everywhere for some more versatile flavors and their aglio e olio with chili peppers was truly so so AMAZING. Never had something that tasted like that. The flavor and spiciness of the chili peppers was infused into the sauce and it was creamy and flavorful and fresh and just fantastic overall. Also, the staff was so so friendly and made conversation with us which really made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was cozy and authentic and you could tell they loved what they did and did it well.
