I ate at Kantunera with my family. We enjoyed all of Chef Danilo's dishes and the kindness and professionalism of Letizia, who assisted us at the table. I recommend the octopus with mashed potatoes and the linguine with shrimp and pistachio pesto, which my 6- and 10-year-old children particularly enjoyed. We will definitely be back!

We had a FANTASTIC time, the service was brilliant - so personal and attentive. We had the octopus which was the BEST we’ve ever eaten. What an experience, we LOVED it. Thank you for looking after us and our son 😋

Fantastic. My partner is celiac and the pasta and dessert he ordered were perfect and just as delicious as my non-gf meal. They also provided us with amazing gluten free bread, the best we've had. The owners made us feel at home and made it clear they cared very much about the quality of the food and experience. The best evening in Ortigia!

Family trip, a top-notch dinner. Everything was delicious, and the entire menu is also available in a gluten-free version. The owner is celiac and gave us the best recommendations. We had delicious handmade gluten-free pasta with squid ink, pasta with capers and sardines, tagliolini with pistachios and shrimp, and grilled octopus. But the best was the incredibly tender swordfish with onions. The restaurant is small, so I recommend booking. The staff, as are the owners, were friendly.

Excellent food with a friendly and pleasant owner. We tried the Cod Siracusa and the pasta with sea urchins and were very pleased. Very good wine list. Thoroughly enjoyable experience!

17/04/2026: We stopped for a coffee, but we quickly gave in to temptation and ordered a tiramisu. It was DELICIOUS! The establishment also offers piadinas and local products that look to be of high quality. Very friendly service!
