18/12/2024: Ristorante consigliato da amici per la presunta qualità della carne. Arriviamo e pur essendo Agosto il locale è stranamente semi deserto. Servizio pessimo e con una tempistica davvero esasperante. Una proposta di carne varia ma a prezzi allucinanti. Personale non pervenuto, capace solo di abbozzare scuse improbabili per il ritardo. Non ci siamo gustati praticamente nulla perché le portate sono arrivate ai commensali in tempi diversi e biblici, creando disarmonia e disagio nella tavolata. È stato tutto talmente squallido che non mi sono sentita di scattare nemmeno una foto ricordo. Una esperienza davvero da dimenticare!!!!! Il conto semplicemente folle.

02/09/2024: I took a dozen cannoli with ricotta separately in an athermal container so I could travel. We couldn't go home without these sublime cannoli... historic pastry shop in Messina, when we return from our holidays it's a fixed stop... I recommend it...

08/10/2024: We stopped at this rotisserie in the late afternoon, we found a delicacy of hot products, python arancini and delicious pizzas but the best bite was the very good speck and pistachio flatbread!! We will happily return!!

12/05/2025: Ottima pizza in un locale situato in un lido. Ampia sala e buona scelta sia di pizze che di birre (alcune chicche internazionali non facili da trovare in pizzeria). Un poco rumoroso, probabilmente dovuto al tipo di struttura. Sicuramente consigliato

29/04/2025: Siamo stati in questa pizzeria per una serata tra amici, attratti dall'offerta del giro pizza con bevande a volontà, e ne siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti! Il servizio è stato veloce e cortese, il personale sempre disponibile a portarci nuove varietà di pizza, tutte calde e ben farcite. Le pizze erano gustose e ben cotte, con un impasto leggero e digeribile. Ampia la scelta dei gusti: dalle classiche alle più fantasiose, ce n’era per tutti i palati. Le bevande, comprese nell'offerta, venivano servite senza lesinare, un plus non da poco! Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, ideale per gruppi numerosi e serate informali. Torneremo sicuramente!

11/05/2025: I have never been to this pizzeria, but I made two home orders. Delivery was on time, hot pizzas. I find the prices very honest without sacrificing the quality of the ingredients.

27/03/2025: It's the third time I've ordered at home and every time it arrives late and is also postponed, today I ordered at 7.05pm with delivery at 8.30pm via just eat, the restaurant moved the delivery to 9pm and I didn't say anything, at the time of delivery there was a 5 minute delay, I send a delay notification and they tell me that the order is being prepared and will be delivered at 9.25pm, I call the restaurant and the answering machine, I wait for 9.25pm ​​and the order is still late, I call the restaurant at 9.30pm to get news and the rider had yet to leave. Delivery made at 9.37pm. It's not done like that!

24/05/2025: Stopped in for a quick bite after a walk in Taormina. The service was great lovely waitress. It’s on a busy corner so people watching is great. The food was good as were the pastries and coffee. Good spot to stop

23/05/2025: ATTENTION: I wanted to order two espressos at the counter because there's a surcharge for table orders. I was asked to sit down, and then the surcharge was added. €5 for two espressos. What a disgrace! The most expensive espresso on our 10-day trip to Sicily. Tourist trap!

29/05/2025: May 7 and 8, 2025: we ate 2 nights in a restaurant by the sea diagonally across from our hotel. May 7 we had a delicious tuna pizza of course with a nice bottle of wine. The next day a delicious pasta with you guessed it again a bottle of wine. This restaurant is definitely recommended. Not expensive, but good. Extensive menu! Do it!

22/08/2024: The location isn't that great, however the service is discreet, the pizza has nothing special and yet overall it was a good pizza despite the sausage which in my opinion is not the best I've ever eaten. 3 stars.

12/04/2025: Se vai in un locale come La Muciara ti aspetti non solo di mangiare bene ma anche di ricevere un servizio eccellente, visti l’eleganza del posto e il livello dei prezzi sopra la media: sulla qualità del cibo nulla da dire, ma del servizio siamo rimasti notevolmente delusi. Innanzi tutto in una tavola di 8 persone ci sono stati consegnati 2 soli menu più la carta dei vini: alla richiesta di averne altri per tutti i commensali, nessun riscontro! Fino a quando si presenta la persona addetta a prendere le ordinazioni a cui facciamo presente che alcuni non hanno ancora avuto modo di visionare i piatti… soltanto allora arriva al tavolo qualche menu in più! L’evasione dell’ordine è stato un altro parto difficile: gli antipasti sono arrivati in tempi abbastanza rapidi, ma l’attesa per le pizze è stata veramente estenuante, solo in parte ripagata dalla buona qualità dell’impasto e delle materie prime. Per quanto buona la pizza, è inaccettabile cenare alla vigilia di mezzanotte dopo essersi seduti alle 21:15! Dulcis in fundo, il pagamento: presentatici alla cassa per pagare ciascuno la propria quota, la persona addetta alla cassa pensa bene, nel fare il calcolo, di arrotondare l’importo pro-capite… PER ECCESSO! Arrotondamento che non aveva alcuna utilità, visto che i pagamenti sono stati effettuati con carta. Si è trattato di poche decine di centesimi a testa, ma è soprattutto nei dettagli che si vede lo stile di un ristorante e l'attenzione per il cliente. In conclusione, quanto di buono realizzato con la qualità dei piatti viene compromesso da un servizio totalmente insufficiente e non all’altezza del locale.

03/02/2025: In an excellent position on the sea, west of Cape Milazzo.... nice atmosphere, courteous service, but the rubbery dough of the pizza and the "fried bread" were a total disappointment. There were 9 of us and none of us managed to finish our pizza, despite the overall good toppings. A real shame. Prices above average.

29/03/2025: We paid 50€ each for 6 people (300€ total) for a normal meal of normal quality, with less than excellent service. We also included a hamburger in the bill that we neither ordered nor ate (which was clearly removed from the bill after our observation). This is absolutely not a place that could allow such an expensive bill. Never again will I dine here.
