We went there in the evening, and I've rarely eaten such a good pizza: crispy crust, perfectly topped with ingredients, and simply spot on. It was paired with an excellent red wine that rounded it all off perfectly.
The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and relaxed – just right for winding down the day. The service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being intrusive.
A place you'll return to not just for the pizza, but for the whole feeling of the evening.
Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back! 🍕🍷✨

11/01/2026: The atmosphere is welcoming and hospitable. We ate very well, from the starters to the desserts. The staff is friendly and approachable, making the experience truly enjoyable. I recommend a refreshing stop: the dishes are generous, but the quality is top-notch.

12/11/2025: We bought a black and white cake, which we didn't like because the rum flavour prevailed over the rest of the ingredients, and unfortunately we weren't warned about the presence of the liqueur. It's the first cake that contains liqueur and, compared to other cake shops, the price per kg is too high.

09/01/2026: I went there with my parents, I don't know if it was because it was winter, but the food was poor quality, and the staff practically sat with us at the table. The price was ridiculous: €102, with a grilled zucchini costing €15.
Tourism is fine, but let's not exaggerate.
Not to mention the pizza, which was clearly bought from the pizzeria next door and arrived cold. (Made right before our eyes.)
And I forgot about the burnt breaded swordfish. The only positive note was the octopus sandwich, which was good but nothing special.
07/01/2026: I don't recommend it! Long waits for food, even though I was the only one in the restaurant. The staff constantly tried to add something to the bill that I didn't order (drinks or appetizers). Additionally, an extra pizza was added to the bill, which I didn't order. When I asked for the item to be removed from the bill, I was told it was impossible because the bill had already been charged and wouldn't be correct in the system, and I had to pay for the mistake as well.

20/09/2025: A modern bar, very centrally located, right across from Messina Ventrale train station. We had two delicious pistachio and almond granitas there at a great price. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back.

18/01/2026: A pizzeria nestled in a pleasant space-time fold where the architecture, ambiance, style, and prices are easily recognizable. Lost in the Nebrodi mountains one evening in search of food, we call around several places, and all politely turn us away, except La Pergola, which, despite being about to close, offers to wait for us. We fly to the charming "Pearl of the Nebrodi," Sinagra, and slip inside, where a now-steaming fireplace warms us while we wait for our pizzas. Simple, honest (and delicious) pizzas. We thank them, pay little, and happily leave, taking the leftovers with us in a designer box. Recommended!
06/11/2025: Simply excellent. Nine of us went to La Pergola for lunch, and everyone was extremely satisfied. We opted for the house menu, which includes a generous mixed appetizer, two first courses, and a mixed grill, including drinks. The quality of the food is very high, and everything is fresh and authentic; you can tell it's prepared with love and care.
We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it.

23/01/2026: The food was excellent – the seafood was fresh, and the spaghetti with mussels was truly delicious. The waitstaff was also friendly and helpful during ordering.
Unfortunately, the billing process was a major disappointment. According to the prices on the menu and the information provided by the waiter, the total bill for the seafood, spaghetti with mussels, and wine ordered should have been around €50. However, the final total was €73.50, with no explanation given for the difference.
This is a real shame, as it looked like a place we would gladly return to. Unfortunately, this situation leaves a feeling of lack of transparency and spoils the overall experience.

30/08/2025: The best gelatos, the granita always fresh! The Crossaint is always impeccable, the staff is excellent, always kind and friendly, and the owner is very attentive and kind. Definitely a place to return to again and again!
15/08/2025: Horrible granita, in plastic cups, croissants sold out and it's August 15th. Very dirty tables.

07/01/2026: We went for pizza, but we had a bad experience, the owner was rude and unhelpful, we asked the waitress if she could kindly increase the heat of the mushroom and she forwarded the request to the owner but he, all annoyed, approached, took the mushroom and moved it in a brusque and impetuous manner very close to a diner. We will never return.
01/01/2026: The owner is very knowledgeable, extremely kind, and above all, incredibly friendly!
The food, well... always top quality!
Highly recommended.
