10/08/2024: We start from Messina, and find ourselves in front of this typical Sicilian trattoria that peeks out in a quiet square. There is no problem with parking along the road and it is free. But now let's talk about the wonderful dinner we had. We chose from the set menus that were offered to us. Excellent cuisine we had the opportunity to have a chat with the chef 👨‍🍳 who revealed one of his tricks to us "Cook exactly as I would at home" The place is well looked after, but the dishes are something exaggerated! I highly recommend going there. Watch out for the waitress who will try in every way to recommend the best dishes on the menu 🤣

02/09/2024: Cena ottima a base di pesce e piatti eoliani. Spettacolare la caponata fatta con la ricetta di famiglia! Se avvisato per tempo, è possibile farsi preparare piatti particolari anche per celiaci, nel nostro caso calamari ripieni che in vita non avevamo mai trovato!!!! La cordialità e la premurosità dello staff e del titolare sono encomiabili!! Lo consiglio come tappa obbligata!!!

07/10/2023: We received the recommendation from our Airbnb host and were super satisfied. The service was excellent and very accommodating. I ate carbonata which is made with eggplant. Even though I don't like eggplant it was so delicious.

23/08/2023: Excellent service. Super friendly staff, helpful and very welcoming! The dishes are excellent, prices a little above average but it's worth it. The location of the restaurant is not the best but it is quiet and very well looked after.

15/07/2024: I've been getting pizza here for years because it has always been one of the best between Suzzara and Codisotto, yesterday I ordered two pizzas delivered and as soon as I opened the pizza box I was amazed because it had no seasoning, non-existent tomato and mozzarella, tasteless dough and wrong cooking, it looked like a streak…I only ate it because I was hungry.

01/09/2024: Ci siamo andati tre volte durante la vacanza e ogni volta l’esperienza è stata ottima. Pesce che parla tanto è fresco. Sapori siciliani autentici, preparazioni accurate. Attenzione a non ordinare troppo, le porzioni sono assai abbondanti! Carta dei vini interessante con proposte isolane, ben consigliati dalla figlia del proprietario. Servizio professionale, gentile e attento.

24/08/2024: Cucina classica messinese, abbiamo ordinato come antipasto un piatto di alici marinate, nel dettaglio 5 buone alici su un letto di insalata, trancio di pesce spada all'eoliana, porzione minima (1 fettina), ben cucinato ma 28 euro decisamente prezzo esorbitante! Un piatto di totani ripieni, bruciacchiati e ripieno asciutto. Abbiamo inoltre ordinato due calici di vino che ci sono stati portati senza neanche chiedere se avessimo preferenze. Conclusioni: prezzi elevati, ci alziamo a fine cena non soddisfatti. Prezzo sicuramente non adeguato a ciò che abbiamo mangiato, porzioni minime, ci alziamo non soddisfatti della cena.

16/08/2024: We had booked a room for two adults and a child for three nights at the end of July but we preferred to leave the property after spending the first night there. The farmhouse does not have the services you would expect. Restaurant with a very limited menu, we ordered dishes that had very little that was tasty and the raw materials were not excellent. A chicken cutlet looked "wet" on the outside, while inside it was raw. Sent back complaining precisely about this, the same cutlet was brought back to us (which had already been partly eaten by myself), refried/reheated. No regard to the hygiene aspect. The cleanliness of the room was very poor, while there was no lifeguard or assistance in the swimming pool (not large). Children's play area with dirty equipment and badly damaged flooring. No activities to pass the time, tv not working. We left and then spent a very pleasant stay in another facility in nearby San Piero Patti.

18/08/2024: I appreciate the goodwill of the owners who quickly resolved a technical problem and allowed us to have lunch. We took a fried mix and a pistachio and swordfish pasta. All on average good.

16/07/2024: The big catch about this place is the waiting times, if you get it on the wrong day when they are short staffed you risk having to sit for 1 hour eating bread and breadsticks. Other than that, the place is excellent value for money, the food is tasty and the staff is friendly.

29/08/2024: They want money from tourists, but not even a word in English. I couldn't order a glass of white wine and a risotto, and this in Italy!!! In this restaurant there are new rules: risotto only in two portions, and in the 20 euro pasta there is frozen fish. And in the logo there is a swordfish; they should have drawn a bag of frozen fish.

13/08/2024: Price-performance ratio is absolutely not right here. We paid almost €600.00 for 4 nights. The room was visually fine. There was mold and rust in many places in the bathroom. The worst part of our stay, however, were the room service ladies. Every morning we were woken up before our alarm clock went off by the ladies talking loudly outside the rooms. One morning one of the ladies was having private conversations on her cell phone with the loudspeaker in front of our room door while we were sleeping!!! I have never experienced anything so disrespectful in a hotel. We spent a lot of money to sleep and rest there. It should go without saying that guests are still sleeping early in the morning and that coffee parties are not held in front of the rooms. The location of the hotel is catastrophic. You have the sea right on your doorstep but other than that there is nothing there. Restaurants (with bad food and even worse service) at least 1 km walk away, pattisseries with empty counters, etc. The place is not recommended for vacation. I wouldn't recommend the hotel, especially not because of the annoying cleaning staff. Why this is a 4 star hotel is questionable.

25/07/2024: I give only one star because less is not possible but our experience must be told. We wait, being ignored for more than half an hour by the only boy present at the orders (which kindness I underline is worth the only star I'm giving to my experience). Let's be patient, because we have worked in this field for years, and we understand the confusion even if it is evident a total disorganization of the service. When our turn arrived we asked for an aperitif and we were given the option, without showing a written menu, to have a reinforced one. We order a beer and a SMALL BOTTLE OF WATER. Leaving aside the waiting times to even get things to the table, we arrive at the cash register and there is the wonderful surprise....we paid for some questionable pieces of rustici and warmed sandwiches and a very normal trio of aperitifs amounting to €30. Asking for justification for the price, which was objectively exaggerated, we were told that they have a fixed price on the reinforced aperitif which was neither communicated at the time of the order nor on a menu which we were not able to consult. THE RESPONSE OF THE LADY (OWNER) IS MORE UNCOMMENTABLE!!! Now we are in doubt whether to drink the water or make an altar of it together with the receipt. NEVER AGAIN!!

25/07/2024: BAD SERVICE. We cannot evaluate the food and cocktails because they never arrived despite an hour of waiting. After half an hour, noticing several people leaving the tables without having consumed, we had politely asked at what point our order was (3 spritzes and aperitif), because if there had still been to wait we would have left having already a commitment and the need to eat in time. We were told that everything would arrive in 5 minutes but after another 20 minutes the waiter came to say that they no longer had any food or ice! Disappointed by this situation and the inconvenience created for us, I went to the owner to express my disappointment and in addition to receiving a no-nonsense apology, we were verbally attacked by the owner who, getting up vehemently from his comfortable chair, waving his little hand, told us "if you haven't paid get up and go." ZERO professionalism ZERO friendliness ZERO education and respect.

21/08/2024: Absolutely to be avoided, it is not up to the standard of a real restaurant but just a fast-food restaurant (not even that fast) disguised as a fake restaurant. INSANE PRICES for mediocre quality fast food! I'll start by saying that if you're in Milazzo, especially with children, there's really better places to eat, the quality is on par with a burger king... rubbish food. The disappointment, however, comes from several fronts, Coke paid €4.50 per glass without gas, sandwiches arrived cold and uneaten (I attach the photo of the solitary slice of bacon styled as a Lete water bubble), furthermore they bring the drinks immediately and half an hour later the sandwiches, so drink dirty water with a sandwich, to our refusal the answer was that all restaurants do this. (It's a shame that other restaurants don't make you wait half an hour or even longer for 4 sandwiches, at least they bring the fried food straight away) Waiters who lack professionalism, given that they place the glasses on the table taking them from the edge where they then drink, make fun of customers convinced that people are as stupid as them, rude to any request. We will certainly never come here again, and the advice is to absolutely avoid!

21/08/2024: If you pass by, don't get the idea of ​​going there because you will be really disappointed, high prices for what they give you a pittance, I had a pork ribs (which was like wet wood) it tasted of nothing except bbq sauce , with the non-carbonated draft drink €17 they bring it to you as soon as you arrive without asking if you want it on draft in a zero bottle or something else the rude waitress tells you do you want coke water? Without even letting you know where you are, you tell him 3 zero cokes and he brings you the low-carbon draft one and not even zero, banging the glasses on the table and keeping the glasses close to where you drink so that we can drink the bacteria that are in our hands and make us also taking into account the corona virus which is going around for now, the side dish portion of french fries which you can't go wrong was regular except for the size perhaps too small given the cost and for the peel still present in the fries. It's useless to go further, I didn't find a positive side other than When I got up and left, among other things, they have 2/3 cash registers so when you're about to leave you have to get confused about where to pay and they leave you at the mercy of nothing like looking for joy. If you like being made fun of by the waiters, go there, the staff are inadequate, rude and even rude, at a simple additional request they raise their voices making you feel at fault compared to the others and getting face to face instead of finding a solution, after You almost have to fight to explain something that's wrong, they send you back to the store manager who first tells you no, then when you reveal your intention to leave the place and call the police, he starts coming towards you so if you have to go, arm yourself with patience because they'll make you lose and you get intoxicated It goes without saying that we will never go there again as there are other places next door that at least know how to cook and are more professional.
