02/12/2025: I wanted to try it more than once to see if it was an isolated incident. The tomato on the focaccia was completely sour (happened several times) and there was almost no mozzarella/cheese (just a hint). Plus, the place was cold.
It's a shame because the place is nice, but under these conditions, we won't be coming back.
27/09/2025: Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted unwelcome by a lady who, when we requested a table we'd previously reserved over the phone, exclaimed, "I don't have a table, wait there!" (all in Sicilian). Once we secured a table, the quality of service improved. We ordered a simple mixed fried dish and the traditional focaccia, which was very good. One downside was the large number of animals, given that we were sitting in the outdoor area.

19/08/2025: August 18, 2025. We stayed for one night and one dinner. What can I say? We were pampered from our arrival to our departure. The room was comfortable and clean, the dinner was excellent and plentiful to say the least!! Everything was locally sourced, grown by the host, who is extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. You can tell he wants to satisfy his customers because he loves what he does, and it shows in everything. I highly recommend this experience!!! We'll be back!!!

18/04/2025: La comida era excelente. Vi a los camareros 3 veces reutilizar el pan no comido y los palitos de pan de las cestas de las mesas. De hecho, vi a un camarero sacar dos trozos de pan de la cesta que parecía medio comido y luego rellenar la cesta con un par de panes nuevos para otra mesa.

01/11/2025: Mediocre pizza, dry dough and no crust. The "rucoletta" and "burrata" pizza should be on the white pizza list, since they don't have tomato sauce. 😬 I won't be back.

14/12/2025: We ordered a flavorless gianduia cannolo (a cannolo that should be the flagship of Messina's pastry shops), a sour ricotta cannolo, not fresh. The profiteroles were also flavorless. The seat next to us was covered in crumbs. We pointed out to a girl at the cash register that the ricotta wasn't fresh, and she told us it wasn't true... a little humility to improve from criticism, right?! Given her behavior, we didn't complain about the rest because we understood it would have been a waste of time.

07/09/2025: I ordered a plate of seafood spaghetti and it was undoubtedly the best I've ever tasted: fresh, balanced, and authentic flavors, with the pasta cooked to perfection. My sincere compliments also go to the staff, who were always attentive, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable in describing the dishes and offering the best recommendations. An experience that combines gastronomic quality and great professionalism: I will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who wants to experience high-quality cuisine. The icing on the cake was the karaoke night!

07/09/2025: Maybe I arrived at the wrong time, but I was a little disappointed. I thought I'd find a little more choice. The first day I asked for croissants, and the lady, who was very kind, told me I'd find them the next day. So I ordered two arancini, which were very good. I returned the next day and found no arancini, and the brioches were the packaged ones. No fresh croissants, which this time she told me to only make in the winter...very little variety, even in shortcrust pastry. So much expectation for so few things.

11/09/2025: The service was a very positive note. Everyone was kind and attentive. We were treated and served well. Unfortunately, the food doesn't live up to the beautiful location, with its fabulous coastline. There's nothing to compliment it.
The dishes are more trattoria-like than restaurant-like.
The prices are exorbitant (for the selection and execution).
I'd save the mussels and the fried fish...
I have to say the pizza is more appetizing, but the value for money isn't justified.
The place deserves more attention to detail and well-executed menus. You can't make money off the location alone!
