30/03/2025: Truly beautiful experience. From the staff, always kind and helpful, despite the presence of some "nice" customers, to the truly amazing food! Usually, when I go out for lunch, I usually order fried fish which, most of the time, turns out to be greasy and soft. Theirs, however, is perfect! The pasta was also delicious and cooked just right. EVERYTHING PERFECT!!! One of the few places that can make you feel at home

12/04/2025: Order placed via moov Eat at 4pm and I reiterate 4pm, requesting a delivery at 9pm. They had the barbaric courage to tell the rider that there was a lot of work and they didn't deliver the focaccia by the scheduled time to the boy in charge of delivery. I could understand an order placed at 8.00 pm, but it is not plausible to treat orders placed online in this way, evidently to favor those who arrive on site at 9.00 pm. The focaccia had already been paid for anyway.

08/03/2025: Prima ancora di soffermarmi sul cibo ciò che maggiormente colpisce è la cordialità con cui si viene accolti. Ho prenotato un tavolo per 19 persone, tutti adulti l'unico piccolo era mio figlio di 9 anni, in occasione del compleanno di mia mamma. È una scommessa ogni volta riunirci per festeggiare un'occasione speciale perché, non tutti i locali sanno organizzarsi. Al Pappamondo siamo stati sistemati perfettamente, senza essere d'intralcio a loro che lavorano né ad altri clienti. Abbiamo scelto il giro pizza base da €13 e una consumazione extra giro pizza per questioni di intolleranze, riuscendo a cenare tutti insieme, la varietà delle pizze proposte è stata eccellente, l'impasto è pazzesco, le pizze grandi e ben condite, tutto davvero perfetto. Il locale era pieno e la serata è stata comunque ben gestita, essendo un tavolo così numeroso ritengo che il servizio è stato comunque eccellente. 15/05/2025: Great place to bring an infant or children as a tourist. Has air conditioning and bathroom. Incredibly nice staff and very clean! We used Google translate to help as their English and Spanish is limited. We got a small pizza, ham and cheese pastry, and Nutella croissant, and 2 lattes — the coffee was so great we got 2 more to go (total for everything was 11.30 Euro, a great deal — best coffee we’ve had on our Italian trip so far - they sell Gelato as well. Would come back! It is a bit of an uphill walk from the port to get up there - many nice bars and local restaurants as it is near the college.

09/02/2025: If you’re not Italian, please do not use this place. Apparently this place is only for Italians and if any other nationality people walks in the road, they’ll just serve you. It’s not they won’t serve you, but they just don’t care almost all like that.

30/03/2025: This spot is great, not sure what these bad reviews are, they had to have gotten better staff since. There are super friendly and very nice. Great food and drinks too. The owner gave us a pizza for free, we came yesterday and today, and probably coming tomorrow as well.

20/09/2024: Nous y avons dîné le premier soir de notre séjour dans cet hôtel. Tout était bon ou très bon, avec une seule réserve : la tendance à trop saler (même la ricotta de la cassata était salée) : caponata très savoureuse, excellentes moules d'Espagne en entrée comme dans un plat de pâtes, très bon risotto au speck. Au total, avec deux antipasti, deux primi, un dessert et deux bières, 100 €, c'est un très bon rapport qualité-prix pour Panarea, avec un dîner en tous points réussi.

30/08/2024: Avevamo prenotato circa un mese e mezzo per la cena,quando arriviamo non esisteva la prenotazione in un ristorante cosi rinomato queste cose non devono esistere anche se dopo hanno accomodato ma con la scadenza di andare entro una certa ora....peccato.

11/06/2025: Mangiare da Marbelli è un’esperienza sensoriale che ti riconnette al passato, ai vecchi gusti tradizionali della cucina messinese, quella fatta in casa, ma con estrema ricercatezza pur rimanendo semplice e leggera. Capisco, sembra un gioco di parole, ma è complicato descrivere a parole la bontà dei piatti serviti. Il menu cambia ogni giorno, segue quello che offre di fresco il mercato: pesce, carne, ortaggi, verdure, etc... L’ambiente è familiare, sembra di essere a casa ed il personale, sempre attento e presente, si adopera di continuo affinché il cliente possa essere soddisfatto. I prezzi sono più che contenuti, soprattutto se rapportati alla grande qualità. Sono contentissimo di aver scoperto questo posto, un’eccellenza messinese. Complimenti!

21/05/2025: Trattoria con piatti dell'antica cucina messinese ben realizzati. Ci vado spesso con la famiglia per incontrare Angelo Duro che è un componente fisso, in quanto nel tempo libero quando è lontano dalla sua Palermo aiuta i suoi cugini messinesi nel completare il servizio in sala dando una mano e strappandoti una risata come da suo solito comportamento visto negli spettacoli ed in ultimo con il suo film. Non ve la prendete perché lui vi vuole bene dietro il suo comportamento da duro. Consigliato anche a pranzo perché sono velocissimi quando si ha fretta per tornare in ufficio ed in questo Angelo da una mano ✋️ ed anche un braccio. Unico consiglio quando chiamate per prenotare un tavolo chiedete se il servizio per quella giornata verrà svolto da Angelo, non ve ne pentirete.

31/05/2025: What a shame...it was a lovely place...but it has changed management and nothing works! First of all, check in was scheduled for 3 pm and instead at 6 pm we still don't have the room ready...after a long trip. Room still to be cleaned and unpacked! And the answers are they are doing it...there was a bit of confusion. I came back here because I had a good memory. Today is a nightmare.
