19/07/2025: Apparently locals eat here, prices are really affordable, authenticity is spot on but the food is...so. The tortellini is also good and optimally cooked but the bechamel is like some soup; the lasagna was most likely bought in a store. The bottle of wine is average and without a label. 3 stars only for the good service.

11/07/2025: We ordered three dishes, encouraged by the positive reviews and high user ratings. The owner brought us ready-made dishes from the store right before our eyes. He heated them up one by one in the microwave. Avoid this place completely. A huge disappointment for Sicilian food, renowned for its quality and flavor.

09/07/2025: A beautiful restaurant nestled in the green woods of Castanea, it offers a welcoming, rustic, yet elegant atmosphere, with a Sicilian touch courtesy of the ceramics found throughout. The focaccia is excellent, both traditional Messina focaccia and specialty flavors like pumpkin cream with mortadella and chopped pistachios, or with burrata and prosciutto. The traditional Messina pidoni are also excellent.

19/07/2025: Oggi di rientro da qualche ora di mare e prima di dirigerci verso la nostra seconda tappa del weekend, ho pranzato col mio compagno presso questo ristorante! L'aspetto è semplice e curato, si respira un'atmosfera familiare e serena,davvero ci ha attirati! E abbiamo fatto bene a fidarci del nostro istinto! Pranzo ottimo, servizio gentile e presente ma non pressante,conto ottimo! La cosa che più ci ha colpito sono state le cozze e altre vivande freschissime arrivate direttamente mentre ci accingevamo ad ordinare! Lascio foto dei primi buonissimi e abbondanti! Complimenti!

17/05/2025: We can only talk about it well, my family and I have often eaten there since we discovered this place, or we also order imported food. They also do home deliveries which we also take advantage of. The prices are very affordable 🫶🏻 I highly recommend it to everyone. I forgot, so for us, it means less stuff to sort for the trash and fewer dishes to wash 🥰 VP

16/07/2025: Friendly staff and quality products. I recommend the granita, with the inevitable whipped cream, of course. For just €3.50, you can enjoy a fantastic snack. Highly recommended.

The pastries are fresh and flaky, and the coffee is rich, smooth, and full of flavor—just what you need to start the day right. There’s a great selection to choose from, so there’s something for everyone. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. A perfect morning in Taormina!

02/08/2025: The hotel itself is decent, the room was large, the view was ok, but the fact that there were a lot of old people and many with problems (one of them in a wheelchair and connected to oxygen and others in strollers or with a frame) made us ruin our vacation and not relax, paying 1000 euros. From my point of view, when you accept many people with disabilities in the hotel, you should inform the other tourists. I understand perfectly that every person has the right to relax, but I personally could not sit at the table in peace knowing that there was a person connected to oxygen next to me. The food at this hotel leaves a lot to be desired, we only had breakfast (same food for 7 days - omelette, boiled egg, yogurt, cereals, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, apples as fruits and one day they were thrown next to apples and 2 bananas for 20 people minimum and old sweets). It is a resort where you simply HAVE NOTHING TO DO ... there are 2 terraces where you can eat and a bar (very ok) next to the hotel. P.S. the hotel is 3 stars, not 4 stars as it appears on booking.

27/07/2025: Terrible experience - Highly not recommended! A huge disappointment. I stayed with my husband and a 2 kg dog. A kind lady assured me over the phone that the dog was welcome at the property, and that we could use the pool both before check-in (at 2 pm) and after check-out (at 11 am). Upon our arrival, however, we were met with a rude welcome from the reception staff, who immediately informed us that the dog was not allowed in the pool or the restaurant. With 40°C heat and no alternative, we had to wander around for two hours looking for a place to eat. Same inconvenience at check-out: no flexibility or availability. The room? The only positive note was the view. Otherwise, the rooms were dirty, the bathrooms were full of mold, even inside the stone sink, which could have been a plus. No maintenance, no care. The staff, with the exception of Andrea and the maintenance man (who were kind and helpful when we asked for extra pillows), were rude and unprofessional. It's a shame, because the location is beautiful and the property has potential. But as it is, it's a place to avoid.

27/06/2025: We sit down at this place for a pizza tour, €10 per person, drinks and cover charge not included. They bring us focaccia and pizzas heated in the microwave. It's not exactly what I expected. TO AVOID PS: for those who are afraid of cockroaches, you may see some between your feet while you eat.

03/08/2025: Rudeness reigns supreme...we only had drinks, not dinner...but the lack of hospitality and lack of professionalism leads me to not recommend it even for a quick stop like ours...a carouse evening where the only positive note is the girl in charge of the songs, who has a very beautiful voice, truly wasted working on a Saturday night in a place like this. It's a shame about the location on the seafront, but it's completely neglected.

09/08/2025: Honestly, I had to change my mind. It didn't start out very well. The day before, I had gone to make a reservation for a table of 12 people. It was Saturday, and the girl at the cash register was rude. That's a compliment! Instead, we found the staff, though small for the number of people, very kind and helpful. The pizza was good, with crispy and well-cooked dough. The gluten-free one was also good. The traditional focaccia was decent, but the capricciosa was a little less so. The only major flaw was the poor-quality cheese. It looks like a rava. The one with speck and burrata, however, was excellent. Service was a bit slow; we waited over an hour for the focaccia. The pizzas, however, arrived 15 minutes after ordering. Prices were average.

06/08/2025: Without saying a word, I paid €50 for about 4 kg of Messina focaccia. If last year's menu is still valid, the traditional one should have cost €10 per kg, so I shouldn't have paid more than €40. But since they thought they'd found chicken, they played the classic three-card monte. They were happy, but I'll never stop by again. Not to mention their smug and rather confusing attitude.
