20/08/2024: Not an easy place to get to for those who are not from the area. We had a fish-based lunch. Everything fresh and well cooked. Some things are excellent, others a little less. But they are tastes. The anchovy pie with caramelized onion inside is excellent. Also the homemade tagliatelle with seafood. We also took ravioli filled with fish. These without fame and without glory. The tough part are the appetizers, assorted and many. Anyway, everything was plentiful. Only fish found that day at the fish market. Outside there is also a swimming pool with an excellent view over the valley below.

25/08/2024: Good fryer, sandwich shop, pizzeria and much more. There is no table service, but there are many tables available where you can safely eat there.

21/08/2024: The focaccia is really good, top dough and excellent ingredients. The arancini are not arancini, totally overcooked rice with no flavour. To be completely revised or eliminated from the menu, the uncommentable breading, FAILED. Pythons not edible. I would limit myself to only selling focaccia.

13/10/2023: We came to Stromboli by boat for the afternoon. Our captain recommended Da Giovanni. We ordered a pizza alla Norma and an octopus salad. The octopus was tender and tasty. The pizza!!! The crust was so light and delicious we ate the entire pizza. I highly recommend!!

09/10/2023: finalmente dopo 2 anni dall'ultima visita siamo tornati a stromboli, e uno dei motivi per cui siamo tornati è certamente la spettacolare pizza di Giovanni. Materie prime di eccelsa qualità, prezzi ottimi e sopratutto la grande cortesia e gentilezza di Giovanni, che ci ha anche offerto una Malvasia bio e a chiusura locale si è intrattenuto in una piacevole chiacchierata!

21/08/2024: The staff was highly rude to start with. I ordered a seafood salad which you think no one can do badly right? Well you’re wrong. The seafood-had no taste, there was one shrimp inside and 2 capers-I counted. At the end they tried to charge me extra onions that I requested and tomatoes cca 6 euros. When I asked if they were serious, the chef came and told me to get lost and never come back again. Please do yourself a favor and go someplace else. Cheers

16/05/2024: May 2024: Very nice restaurant located in the center, well decorated and their pizzas are very well known in the area, we knew they had a cereal dough that we wanted to try. To start, we shared a fried misto, which was one of the best I've ever had, and really very filling, 3 people can easily eat it. Then to share (already quite full from the fried misto starter) we ordered a San Daniele Pizza with impasto ai ceriali, how was it to share, they prepared it for us and already brought it on 2 plates. The same extremely different and delicious. The attention was impeccable. Without a doubt, it is a highly recommended place to go.

Everything very fresh. The exceptional staff, very short waiting times, both the owner and staff of the wing are attentive to satisfying any customer need, I will definitely return
