Gambrinus In Giardini-naxos

I had the opportunity to dine at this waterfront restaurant for a friend's birthday. The location is definitely one of its strong points: the sea view is very pleasant, and the outdoor space, where we dined, creates a particularly relaxing atmosphere. There's also an indoor dining area, but I personally much preferred the outdoor one. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and attentive to our needs from the very beginning. Although there were a few minor service hiccups, such as some wine spilled while the dishes were being served, these were mistakes that can happen and didn't detract from the courtesy shown throughout the evening. The dishes were carefully presented. The appetizers were overall good, although I wasn't entirely impressed with the mussels: I would have preferred them to be more flavorful and enhanced by the sauce. The pasta was slightly more al dente than I would have liked, despite being typical of this dish. I especially enjoyed the fish, while the shellfish were, in my opinion, the least appealing aspect of the dinner. The desserts and wine were also enjoyable. My only other complaint concerns the bathroom, which I found rather small and with a damaged toilet seat, a detail that deserves more attention. Overall, it was a good experience, made especially special by the kindness of the staff and the beautiful location. However, I expected something more from the quality of the fish dishes, which is why I gave it a three-star rating.

I am absolutely thrilled! For me, this was by far one of the best restaurant experiences in Giardini Naxos. We definitely ate the best food here during our stay. The food was outstanding, and the service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Even though the kitchen was almost closed, we were still warmly welcomed. We are very grateful for that – and the food was simply excellent. I wish we had discovered this restaurant sooner. Thank you so much for the wonderful service and the delicious food. Also the kitchen is practical for cooking, with Hanno accolti with great gentleness. Gliene siamo davvero molto grati e il cibo era semplicemente quisito. Excellent restaurant, top staff, exceptional dishes and a fabulous view, I would say the best in Giardini Naxos

We had a really good dinner at Gambrinus. We had a seafood aperitif, and it was excellent. Francesco, the owner, was very welcoming.

The food itself was good. Unfortunately, we waited a very long time for our food, and the music from the neighboring restaurant was far too distorted.

The appetizer was great, but the main course was unfortunately very bland... it was completely lacking in seasoning, and we waited about 50 minutes for our food. The music in the neighboring restaurant was unbearably loud, and the speakers were constantly distorting. The service was also terrible; we hadn't even finished eating when our plates were taken away from us. We will not be returning to this restaurant!

Very fresh fish, excellent service and delicious cocktails, I highly recommend it.

An ideal place to eat or have a nice aperitif in Giardini. We ordered a limoncello spritz and a Hugo spritz, both very good. We'll definitely be back. The staff are incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this place; you have to visit it!

We returned to Gambrinus the next day, and that says it all. On our first day, we chose the daily menu: the octopus was excellently prepared, tender, and flavorful. Even the fried fish, despite being breaded, was light and tasty. We weren't thrilled with the desserts, but considering how good the food was, it wasn't a detail that affected our experience. The next day, we returned and ordered the marinara rice. After tasting such tender and juicy shrimp, we knew we'd found one of the best restaurants in the area. The staff also deserves special mention: friendly, helpful, always smiling, and attentive to their customers. Furthermore, the location right on the sea makes the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back!

A real treat. Very welcoming staff, excellent advice. Our taste buds were delighted with the grilled octopus, the Sicilian-style linguine, the spaghetti with clams, and a delicious homemade tiramisu. Highly recommended.
