25/05/2026: As a Palermitan, I'm obsessed with Messina's rotisserie... Big Ben is a must-try. The Pidoni are DELICIOUS, delicious, with excellent toppings. The arancini are exceptional, with a spectacular sauce. The fried food is incredibly crispy. Everything is delicious. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try typical Messina rotisserie. The place is clean and welcoming, and everyone is very friendly. 5 out of 5

07/04/2026: One of the best meals I’ve ever had! The service was impeccable, the staff were so friendly and kind. It’s in such a good location and has the loveliest atmosphere. We had the Spaghetti with Shrimps and the Spaghetti with Aeolian sauce - both were 10/10!

08/05/2026: The beach is beautiful, the views too, pebbly and you can feed yourself in the water, but the service is great, you can get your food under an umbrella, they throw in a special table, it's my first time at the Ionian Sea, but the water is wonderful, blue, mega clean

11/11/2025: Despite the staff's kindness, we found the sandwiches not to our liking. The fries are seasoned with spices that make them, for my taste, unpleasant. Undercooked, they tasted like plastic in the mouth. The photos on social media had encouraged us to try the place, but we definitely won't be returning.

10/06/2026: We stumbled upon 'Le Prelibatezze' almost by chance, looking for a place to have lunch with typical local dishes. Welcoming us with great care and warmth were Nino and Rodica, who immediately made us feel like guests at a friend's house. Even though we arrived right at closing time, they made us arancini right on the spot, along with other dishes of the day: the ingredients used are top-quality, extremely fresh, and mostly locally sourced, and the fish (very fresh) is caught in those same waters. Rodica pours all her love into the kitchen, and the resulting dishes have the flavor of authentic old-fashioned cuisine, where the ragù is delicately simmered all morning and the rice broth is made in-house, with fresh vegetables. The portions are extremely generous, and the bill is equally so: it's hard to find places like this where you leave the table feeling full, happy, and spending little. The conviviality created by Nino and the entire community around him makes this place a true local heritage to be preserved and promoted, especially when compared to the growing number of bars and restaurants that, in a cold manner, offer meals made with mediocre quality ingredients at exorbitant prices, looking only at profit but losing that humanity and authenticity that are the basis of a healthy community.

28/12/2025: Maguro has officially become my go-to sushi spot. The quality of the fish is top-notch, you can tell it's incredibly fresh, and there's none of the usual over-the-top rice you often find elsewhere. The menu is varied and creative: in addition to the classics, there are some truly unique and tasty signature rolls. The service deserves a special mention: the staff is incredibly friendly, fast, and always smiling, even though the place was packed. The atmosphere is elegant and modern. The value for money is unbeatable. I'll definitely be back!

26/12/2025: We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of acquaintances. I'll start by saying that I've been frequenting Japanese restaurants throughout Northern Italy for over 20 years, both all-you-can-eat and à la carte. I can say without hesitation that I've never tasted such excellent tempura: incredibly light, dry, crispy, and not at all greasy. The sushi is also top-notch: impeccable uramaki, balanced, and meticulously prepared. The flambéed nigiri are also excellent, truly delicious, with warm rice cooked al dente, a sign of great technical attention. The ingredients are excellent, and the fish is clearly fresh. A special mention goes to the shrimp ravioli, simply extraordinary: among the best I've ever tasted. The fried chicken tacos and salmon bao are also excellent, well-filled and tasty. The staff are friendly and professional, and the prices are fair for the quality. A truly worthy restaurant that I recommend without hesitation.
