03/08/2024: Just outside Porta Messina, a non-touristy place with excellent food and fresh fish, unfortunately I also noticed an error on the receipt for something not ordered (promptly returned) but this does not go beyond the 4 stars, all in all a nice experience

23/07/2024: The food was marvelous - parmigiana with sword fish is an amazing surprise! Everyone done with care. Also looks as good as it tastes!

07/05/2024: Esperienza direi assurda,gente che prima faceva un altro mestiere ed a mio avviso dovrebbe lasciar perdere anche la ristorazione .Vado a pranzo con la mia famiglia per provare la cucina in previsione del matrimonio a “villa luna “location che da l esclusiva alla durlindana.Previo appuntamento per assaggiare quanto proposto x il matrimonio ,arriviamo lì e non vi è nulla di tutto ciò ne possibilità di scelta da menu…uno dei soci propinava a quei pochi tavoli presenti una carrellata di antipasti di pesce (dove il pesce era inesistente o di qualità pessima). Ribadendo il perché di quel pranzo richiedo espressamente gli involtini di melanzane ed un primo inserito nella proposta matrimonio…escono fuori cose oscene:melanzane amare e secche salsa di pomodoro acida e ripieno secco. Arriviamo ai primi :ci vengono proposti 2 assaggi di primo uno con asparagi ed il secondo con frutta secca; il gusto di entrambi era esclusivamente di panna ;facciamo presente questa cosa ed il proprietario ci dice che l unico modo per fare cremosita è utilizzare la panna 😒 . Arriva il momento del conto che per 6 persone con antipasti e assaggi di 2 primi e’ di soli 380 euro (ci hanno conteggiato una bottiglia in più di vino mai presa ) . Dopo un paio di giorni mi sento con il socio che gestisce i matrimoni e raccontando dell esperienza culinaria e della qualità del pesce che non rispecchia i miei gusti e il territorio in cui viviamo dove il pesce fa da padrone ,richiedo un menu più semplice e basato su prodotti di terra e carne per evitare brutte sorprese, e di tutta risposta lo stesso mi dice che non se la sente di effettuare variazioni al menu in quanto non rispecchiano la loro impronta… questa la professionalità e serietà che tanto millantano a detta loro da 20 anni. A voi le considerazioni. Ps.non si è mai sentito in Sicilia che si faccia pagare una prova menu per matrimonio ,anche da questo si vede l attenzione al cliente…

01/09/2024: The place is nice, the pizza is good Friendly staff however an hour of waiting is fine, an hour after ordering is fine and the pizza hasn't arrived... all understandable for adults... but for a six year old girl?? The single star is in fact reserved for the VERY BAD ATTENTION AND CONSIDERATION FOR THE CHILDREN... when ordering we had asked to have the pizza for the little girl first given that it was 11pm and that obviously she arrived at 10pm and after more than an hour of waiting it was affirmed and tired…. at 00.00 the pizza for the little girl still hadn't arrived... which obviously arrived with the whole order, in fact the last one!! …probably being full of summer makes you forget good manners.. Really bad …

31/08/2024: I often went to the Da Clara pizzeria, but unfortunately I noticed a worsening in many aspects. POSITIVE NOTES: Always charming external environment, delicious french fries, courteous staff and excellent cleanliness of the place and toilets NEGATIVE NOTES: the quality of the pizza has really dropped, the prices are high (for example a coffee 2 euros, a 33cl bottled Coke 5 euros). The cheesecake had the crunchy part that was soft. We asked for ice for the beer that had warmed up (50 cl on tap costs 7.5 euros) and after several requests they told us that the ice machine had broken (say it first right??). We ask for an additional 33cl beer on tap and it arrives after being asked 3 times when our friend had already practically finished the pizza. All these aspects need to be reviewed NB: To be fair, only one of our friends liked the pizza, everyone else didn't

19/08/2024: The cafe is very nice inside and very cozy outside. The service is nice, the coffee is very delicious, the gelato is perhaps the best here.

16/08/2024: If you want to eat quality desserts and especially granitas, you are in the right place. Nice and well-kept structure, friendly staff, and the granita is the real thing.

17/08/2024: Excellent fish restaurant on the Tropea seafront. Both the starters and the first courses were good.

17/08/2024: Given the kindness of the staff, an experience to forget. Unpresentable empty or dried mussels (a chef cannot produce such a dish), raw baked fish (a chef must know the cooking times)... to the embarrassment of the waiters too.

30/08/2024: We left from Ganzirri to eat rustic and traditional Sicilian desserts in a vegan version. IT WAS WORTH IT. Arancini and squash with really well thought out and combined ingredients. Vegan cannoli in my opinion is spacey. It's not easy to find traditional vegan solutions in places, especially with such attention and quality. Satisfied and grateful. 👏🏽 if the table area were larger, it would enhance the excellent service.

23/08/2024: A family-run restaurant found by chance on Google. A really nice place away from the daily noise which, together with the well-kept location and large garden, transform dinner into a moment of true relaxation. We had a good time and were treated very well by the staff, always ready to satisfy every request and above all very fast (even if crowded). I can say that I ate very well even if taste is always subjective, and the cuisine here is typical Calabrian. In addition to a fairly extensive menu they also serve pizza... which is totally different from the Neapolitan one. As always, the classic Calabrian truffle is also present. To finish bitter is whiskey offered by the house. Parking is easily found outside the venue. I make a note (but not the fault of the owner or the staff who, however, in my opinion should intervene) when in the middle of the evening loud noises coming from the garden and caused by rude people (first the parents) ruined all the tranquility and relaxation. Playing is one thing, shouting is no good. This is a tip.....because here you can enjoy excellent quiet. Highly recommended

17/08/2024: Mid-August lunch, everything was excellent, starting with the dishes, well executed, very good, fair waiting times, very kind and knowledgeable staff, very beautiful location, recommended!

02/09/2024: We went to the inn with friends last night Demetra, our experience was truly positive. Very nice and welcoming environment, the cuisine is taken care of down to the smallest detail by Angelo who welcomed us in an excellent way. "Infinite" appetizer, varied and delicious. Everything was impeccable!!! Really ! You enter as customers and leave as Friends! Thanks Angelo Your "friends" from Catania! Open a restaurant here too!! We are waiting for you with open arms in our city, we are missing a restaurant like yours!

25/08/2024: Local located at the foot of the medieval village of Brolo Castle. Seeing it from the outside when you enter and find yourself in a very cute courtyard with all the tables has a nice effect. The food is good, the portions are not very generous, perhaps even too small in some courses. The quality is high and you can feel it. Their specialty is meat, there are many types and they can be eaten in different ways: tartare, grilled, steaks and cut. I noticed little choice for vegetarians and vegans on the menu. If you are vegan or vegetarian this is not the most suitable place for you. The appetizer in full Sicilian style is very varied, plentiful and of good quality (highly recommended). The service needs to be reviewed a bit: slow and at times confusing. But the waiters are all super helpful and come to ask if you need anything. Excellent value for money. With €30 you can eat very well and leave satisfied

31/08/2024: The cream and brioche are very rich, however, the granita is quite undercooked. My partner and I are tourists and we have tried a few Granitas, this was the worst.
