I was expecting a more rustic restaurant. The menu is varied and interesting, all local. The couscous arancini appetizer is absolutely amazing, one of the most interesting things I've tried recently. I opted for the maltagliati with ragù, but the mushroom fettuccine was better. The pork shank was excellent. The desserts are very good but lack variety (basically all gelato or parfait). The proximity to the Catafurco waterfalls makes it a perfect spot for a post-hike lunch.

Excellent dinner! We were thrilled by the sophistication and flavor of every course, from appetizers to dessert. Impeccable service, a good wine selection, and a more than reasonable price. I'll be back often and highly recommend it!

14/04/2026: I ordered a gluten-free pizza after several recommendations from my daughter and acquaintances, who described it as "spectacular." I was skeptical, so to make my daughter happy, I ordered it. Well, we've been celiac for over a decade, and we've realized that until now, all we've been given is rubbish (I travel a lot and to many parts of Italy). The dough is leavened divinely. Soft yet crispy in the right places. Excellent toppings. I hope to return to Messina soon with my son (who also has celiac disease) to make him eat it!!! I can't imagine how good the one with wheat would be. But ours... nothing to envy!!!! P.S.: I'm not a relative; I live 450km away. Daniela Terzoli

04/05/2026: The staff is fantastic, the food is delicious, and the drinks are fantastic (the bartender is a master). We tried it for the first time, and the next day we went in blind!!! We 100% recommend it and will definitely be back 😎👊
04/05/2026: It's super nice, beautiful, and atmospheric. When we came back, the waiter greeted us and repeated our order from the previous day. It's nice that he remembered us ❤️ We were the only guests because it was off-season. We only had drinks, and they gave us free beuscette. And the music is lively.
