11/05/2026: Stunning view. Excellent food; if you have any intolerances, they'll substitute dishes with other options. We had a 13-course appetizer and a 3-course main course, all plentiful and well-served. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

07/05/2026: We're from Rome, we're used to traveling and eating well, but I say this from the bottom of my heart: I think this is the best restaurant we've ever eaten at in our entire lives. We'd never seen a place like it! ​We came here for lunch and had an unforgettable culinary experience. We chose the full menu, and be prepared, because you'll literally eat until you can't eat anymore! They brought us a whopping 14 (FOURTEEN!) appetizers, each more delicious and fresh than the last. This was followed by 3 spectacular seafood first courses and 1 second course. The quantities were enormous, but above all, the quality of the fish and the preparation were truly top-notch. And all this at a final price that can only be described as 'incredible'. A value for money that is unparalleled. ​A huge round of applause goes to the owner and all the staff: wonderful people, incredibly generous, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They make you feel pampered from the beginning until dessert and their fantastic amaro and limoncello. And then, the location... Eating on their terrace, overlooking what I think is the most beautiful view in all of Sicily, reconnects you with the world. If you're in Forza d'Agrò, stopping at Ristorante Il Padrino isn't just a recommendation, it's a must. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for everything!

12/05/2026: I ate at Trattoria del Popolo last night and had a truly excellent experience. The place is very clean, with a welcoming, family-like atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food is plentiful, prepared with high-quality ingredients and served with great attention. Each dish exudes authenticity. A special thanks to Alessia, the owner: polite, professional, always available, and attentive to her customers. Her kindness makes the experience even more enjoyable. 16/07/2026: I opted for a pasta dish and enjoyed a delicious Italian pasta, cooked to perfection with a flavorful sauce that tasted homemade. The portion was generous, and everything arrived piping hot. The service was excellent throughout the meal, with friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere was pleasant, with a comfortable and relaxing setting where you can enjoy your meal in peace. Overall, I was very satisfied and would gladly return to try other dishes on the menu.

13/07/2026: A fantastic experience in the heart of Messina. We dined in this welcoming restaurant and were truly impressed by the attention to detail. Each course is served on beautiful hand-decorated ceramics, which makes the meal even more special. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the squid ink risotto was exquisite. 30/06/2026: Very nice location…….. very delicate and exceptionally tasty food…….. I went there with my boyfriend and we had the La Carruba appetizer with 14 very tasty courses, each one better than the last, a mixed roast with a side of homemade fried potatoes and a sliced ​​beef with rocket and parmesan. We were also happy with the service…. The very kind waiter explained the dish to us with all its ingredients at each course…….. we will definitely return in the future…….. and I highly recommend it.

21/07/2026: Seafood dinner: everything fresh and perfectly prepared. There were four of us, and we ordered four house appetizers, two first courses, and a mixed fried fish dish to share. The atmosphere was comfortable and breezy. The service was welcoming, everyone was friendly, and we felt right at home.

The views are serene, calm, tranquil, and breathtaking, and the sunsets here just hit differently — they’re something else. Pierpaolo is truly exceptional — attentive, genuine, and always goes above and beyond to make sure everything feels perfect. Thank you also to Marta, Maria, Lorenzo and the rest of the team for your warmth and kindness; you make every stay unforgettable. Truly one of my favorite hotels in the world.

02/11/2025: For me, there are no more beautiful places on earth. Here you are in paradise. The beauty and wild character of the island of Vulcano complement the sophisticated allure of the resort, with that dominant white typical of Aeolian architecture and those massive cubic shapes with flat roofs and terraces. The infinity pool seems to dive into the sea in a double play of blues of different yet equal hues. Divine cuisine, the freshest fish, and breakfast with endless choices. A dream. Because perhaps such beauty can also be found in the Caribbean, but the goodness of Italian cuisine and the charm left on this land by all the history that passed through it through the Arabs, Normans, and Bourbons can only be found here. I love it.

The pizza was truly delicious, with a light crust and super-fresh ingredients, like the colorful cherry tomatoes that added a wonderful pop of color to the dish. The dessert was also a pleasant surprise, carefully presented with a dollop of whipped cream. The place is welcoming, and I will definitely return. Highly recommended for those seeking quality.

16/06/2026: We regret having to give this establishment a 2 rating, especially since we had very high expectations when we arrived, especially based on the excellent reviews we'd read. Unfortunately, we must point out a few aspects of our dinner that weren't to our liking: As soon as we arrived at our table, we were somewhat disappointed to learn that the menu featured 10 different Margherita pizzas. Sure, each one had a different sauce, mozzarella, or tomato, but ultimately, they were still Margherita pizzas. This isn't to criticize the restaurant's operational decisions; the owners must have had their own good reasons for promoting only one type of pizza, and we're not arguing with that. However, as customers, we would have appreciated at least having been informed of this temporary situation when we made our phone reservation so we could have adjusted accordingly. After all, when I go to a pizzeria, I expect to be able to choose from at least 6-7 different flavors, not 10 identical ones. This isn't a common situation and should therefore be communicated in advance, especially if I call a few hours before to make a reservation. The pizza itself wasn't even the best. We're not referring to the quality of the ingredients, which we can't comment on... but alas, the pizza was truly lacking in toppings, meaning very little mozzarella and a few cherry tomatoes (there were many "empty" spots where you could see the dough underneath). It was too crunchy, almost like eating a bruschetta without any toppings, and as a result, it also seemed quite light; light in the sense that, when we usually eat pizza, we struggle to finish it all; in this case, we left the table still hungry. Finally, we'd like to emphasize that even though we didn't order appetizers (precisely because a whole pizza usually fills us up), we didn't spend a fortune. We definitely won't be returning.
