15/07/2025: After having a last minute emergency with a VRBO property, Hotel Villa Paradiso welcomed us with open arms. Francesco was quick to check us in and get us in to our rooms after traveling for multiple hours. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The hotel is in a great location and a close walk to everything you need. The private beach club access and shuttle service is a huge perk! Breakfast lounge is beautiful and the food is great. So glad we stumbled on this place - highly recommend!!

17/05/2025: This is a warmth and lovely hotel, truly one of the best hotels that I have stayed throughout 20 years of traveling the world. Staff service is excellent. Everybody here is friendly and helpful. Francesco and Stefania are lovely and the guy has genuinely helped us on our traveling matters 🙏🏼 Can’t say enough about this hotel, but I will definitely stay here on my next trip in Taormina 😊

05/07/2025: Having got off at Messina station, I would never have imagined finding such an easy little veg gem to stop for lunch! I was immediately struck by the details of the decor, which make the place intimate, welcoming and relaxing. The menu offers creative and colorful dishes, with great attention to seasonality and the enhancement of local products. The staff is friendly and helpful. The green philosophy is strong and can also be experienced through cooking classes that promote and create a real community. An idea that I found absolutely exciting 💚

08/08/2025: Excellent quality ingredients, very attentive customer service. A disappointing aspect is that they charge €24 for a bottle of Charme, but the most annoying thing is dining with people standing next to your table waiting for their takeout pizza. No privacy at all.

01/08/2025: My wife is gluten free coeliac and this was her favourite meal in Italy! The aglio olio was perfect! Much cheaper than anything around the area!

30/07/2025: We were so lucky to choose this restaurant whilst taking a tour. This will most likely sound unbelievable but this was my most memorable meal in Italy. I chose Pasta Norma and I just cannot forget the taste and the texture of the pasta. I will hope to revisit next spring especially to eat here again.

23/07/2025: One of the best grill experiences I’ve ever had and at a great price! From the perfectly charred lamb chops to the massive, juicy Fiorentina steak, every bite was full of rich, smoky flavor. The portions were generous, the quality outstanding, and the prices surprisingly fair, especially for the size and taste you get. The atmosphere was simple and authentic just good food, good vibes, and grilled meat done right. The way could worth it when you taste the first lamb chops!!😉 💯 If you’re a meat lover in Sicily, this place is a must. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

27/07/2025: A wonderful discovery! We dined on high-quality local produce: two rich and beautifully presented platters, both beautiful to look at and delicious to taste, with cured meats, cheeses, and traditional pane cunzatu. The horse meatballs were delicious, as were the delicious caponata and the simple yet flavorful grilled vegetables. The atmosphere is quiet and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing evening. Daniele welcomed us with great warmth and availability, making us feel the warmth of Sicilian hospitality. One small suggestion: it would be helpful to have a menu with prices, to better guide our choices. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

20/07/2025: There were 20 of us for dinner, a tasting menu with sandwiches and cured meats, wine and soft drinks. The bill was exorbitant, not to mention the desserts, which were stale and had an unpleasant aftertaste. We had them taken away, and he conscientiously didn't charge for them. Out of a total of €540.50, he gave us a €0.50 discount. He charged a cover charge for a 2-year-old girl and my nephew, who was sleeping in the stroller. Not to mention the bill, which he counted on a sort of receipt, several times for people with different menus. It was a terrible experience for us. We will never return.

23/07/2025: If you want to eat first courses with a seafood flavour, there is nothing wrong with it, I recommend spaghetti allo scoglio, and grilled octopus with puree, onion, etc. etc. Superlative.

23/07/2025: We truly had a wonderful dinner 👍 the spaghetti allo Scoglio and the roasted octopus on a bed of potatoes with onions, poppy seeds and ginger were excellent, and the Salina white wine was the icing on the cake!!! The owners were very kind!

03/08/2025: The Safari bar is a perfect spot to enjoy the astronomical clock, the fountain and the cathedral in Doumo Square! Food is clean fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the bruschetta and the Caprese salad finish with two lemon shell spritz the family that owns. This is very kind. We sat down before they opened as we left the cruise ship early and toured Messina in like one hour, lol The owner pulled up on a scooter rush to get the table set up and allow us to sit here for a few hours waiting for the 12 o’clock clock strike to see the lion the rooster and all the workings. They recommend this cute little family own place. It’s definitely Italian time so come right to chill relax and enjoy. They serve everything from pasta pepperoncini Panini‘s great beer, selection cocktails and wine. Price is fantastic. Quite a deal.

27/07/2025: Had carbonate and regular pasta. Daughter devoured the regular pasta, and the carbonate was delicious with a strong parmesan/pecorino cheese flavor. I enjoyed it.

04/05/2025: Excellent ice creams, granitas, cakes, biscuits, etc. Sea front where beyond the sun, you can enjoy an exciting and spectacular sunset😃😉

04/08/2025: We arrived at this beach almost by chance and were immediately greeted with great courtesy and helpfulness. The staff immediately put us at ease, offering advice and providing everything we needed. The beach is clean and very well-kept, the bar is well-stocked, and the staff is fast and attentive. The restaurant, where we dined a couple of nights, is also on par, with excellent seafood dishes, pizzas, and the best cannoli we had during our entire vacation. Truly top-notch. We hope to return. Thank you all.

22/07/2025: My wife and I visited Lido Pizzeria Ristorante "Al Pizzico" in the municipality of Letojanni/Mazzeo during our vacation for pizza dinner. We chose a wonderful location with a sea view. The pizza we ordered was decent, although the dough could have been more well-mixed. The toppings were good, and the service was quite professional and courteous, helpful, and friendly. The atmosphere was quite clean and very welcoming, close to a small square with plenty of greenery, benches, and a children's play area. Overall, it's a wonderful spot for a stroll with a sea view.

22/07/2025: Osteria Rosso Divino es innegablemente hermoso. El ambiente es refinado, el diseño es elegante, y el personal era amable y profesional. Los cócteles estaban bien hechos, aunque a 18€ cada uno, eso es de esperar. (LV bar cobra 25 €, en comparación jajaja) La verdadera decepción fue la comida. Pedí la pasta de camarones por 40 €, y era completamente plana —sin sabores memorables, sin creatividad, nada especial. Las trufas sabían a trozos de papel de cera, sin sabor, secas y sin vida. El tártaro de pescado, un plato que se basa en el condimento no entregó nada. En este punto de precio, esperas un plato que te sorprenda o que al menos destaque. Al final, este es un lugar que consigue el ambiente correcto, pero pierde la marca en la comida. 190 euros después nos fuimos completamente insatisfechos. Bien para una bebida cara en un entorno hermoso, pero si vas a una comida memorable, es posible que desee buscar en otro lugar.

21/07/2025: Sí tiendo a estar de acuerdo con algunas otras críticas, ya que este restaurante es más caro que la mayoría y la factura era probablemente un poco en el lado alto para lo que teníamos, pero la ubicación en el pequeño patio era encantador, el personal era amable y atento, la comida era increíble y vino y cócteles excelentes. Yo recomendaría a pesar del costo, pero la factura y el valor total era la diferencia entre un 4 y un 5 !

28/07/2025: Just okay. The house wine is pretty average. Could use a bit of a refresh. The food is okay but a bit simplistic compared to what you can find elsewhere in Sicily, but for the price in Taormina we're not going to be picky.

25/07/2025: We had a wonderful evening at this family-run restaurant serving authentic, local cuisine! The service was very friendly and the dishes were excellent, with a price-quality ratio that is rare in Taormina! Go for it!

03/08/2025: The atmosphere was beautiful, with soft lighting. The waiter who served me was very kind and helpful; I appreciated his ability to listen. I enjoyed a meat-based appetizer with a gluten-free pizza that served as a substitute for bread.

08/06/2025: Das Restaurant liegt etwas abseits vom Trubel der Altstadt, aber der kurze Fußmarsch dahin lohnt sich voll und ganz. Sowohl die Vorspeisen als auch die Pasta waren geschmacklich sehr gut. Absolute Empfehlung.
