La tradizionale cucina messinese. Ritornato come quasi ogni estate ho riassaporato i veri piatti messinesi:caponata di pesce spade, Franceschini fritti, linguine all’eoliana, totani ripieni e i migliori involtini di carne in assoluto. Tutto ha rispecchiato la tradizione messinese. Una nota di merito per il titolare, sempre cordiale e disponibile.

We had a very nice meal. We just turned up and sat outside, there weren’t many people there. Those who did come seemed to be locals. It was all very informal and we had very good appetisers, Italian salami and cheese, fried mozzarella balls in breadcrumbs. For a main dish we both had spaghetti with vongele which was excellent. The local wine was extremely cheap in price but quite decent to drink. Service was friendly and informal. Altogether we enjoyed our meal and would recommend it for good food at a reasonable price.

Very homely and friendly place, the owner is available and also helps in recommending the dishes of the day or in any case typical local things. Prices are more than honest and the quantities are generous, one starter can easily be split between 2. Leaving the place hungry is impossible, like in almost all places in Southern Italy after all😄!!!! Super Recommended!!!

09/08/2024: Excellent location with a beautiful view. We ordered three swordfish rolls... or rather breadcrumb rolls, 😅 the taste of fish non-existent and with a strong bitter aftertaste of burnt breadcrumbs. Obviously eaten out of hunger, but from Messisene doc rating 2. My friend ordered the Villanazza pasta with peppers, courgettes, aubergines and cherry tomatoes..Cherry tomatoes??? Huge tomatoes on the plate, and all the vegetables seemed boiled rather than fried. So the result of the dish was the pasta on one side and the vegetables on the other... it looked like a dish you would serve during a hospital stay. To top it off, the girl who served us very politely removed the plate and dropped the tomatoes on my son's trousers and equally politely brought us the spray and the brush to clean the stain!!! Experience certainly NOT to be recommended!!
31/07/2024: Of the raw appetizer, only the creel shrimp should be saved. I don't understand why - in fact - they offer two menus. In line with the island
