Al Mulino In Acireale

On our way back from a long ride, we decided to stop at Al Mulino for lunch. It was a fantastic experience. Excellent fish...and fresh. Great staff...great location. I'll definitely be back!

We ate there on Saturday for lunch with friends and our children. The food was delicious. The view of the sea was fabulous and the staff were all very kind and helpful.

Excellent seafood restaurant. I've been going there for at least 25 years and have always had excellent food.

We tried this restaurant for dinner, choosing the set menu, which features a selection of hot and cold appetizers (including shrimp, swordfish, salmon, mussels au gratin, peppered mussels, traditional fried oysters—which deserve an honorable mention—), two first courses (caserecce with swordfish and marinara risotto) and a second course (mixed grill with prawns and swordfish), sorbet (choice of lemon or mandarin), and coffee/amaro. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The service was fairly quick, and the fish was fresh (the appetizers were impeccable). The only flaw? The outdoor dining area—directly overlooking the sea with a beautiful view of the Faraglioni of Acitrezza—only has a ceiling fan, making it less than ideal for hot summer evenings. In any case, absolutely recommended for the quality of the food.

An extraordinary experience. A wonderful and evocative place, where you truly feel immersed in the sea, not simply overlooking it. Excellent cuisine, with quality dishes offered at an absolutely fair price. Attentive, dynamic, and ever-present service, without ever being intrusive. Everything was perfect: an experience I highly recommend.
