Beautiful setting and lovely terrace. Good food, flavorful and well-prepared! Prices are reasonable. Generous portions on each plate. Excellent cocktails. Attentive and efficient service! A great wine list with helpful recommendations! Plenty of great discoveries to be made.

The best food we had in Catania. It is located in a very beautiful quiet place. We had the veal tagliatelle and the shrimp cream risotto and we will remember it for a long time. You should definitely visit it!

Trattoria Da Nuccio

17/05/2026: After my first not so good meal in Italy in 3 weeks last night, I spotted Trattoria da Nuccio on a small side street off the busy area in Catania historic centre. So glad I did. It was perfect, exactly what I wanted, a simple delicious lunch at reasonable cost, with great service. I had the Cotto a Sote de Pesce (cooked fish stew) with a side of grilled red peppers, and bread for dipping. Fantastic.
16/05/2026: A small restaurant nestled in the heart of Catania, offering a calm and pleasant atmosphere. It was a true delight for our taste buds! In addition, the service was impeccable: the waiters were extremely kind, attentive, and considerate. We tried both the terrace and the interior, and in both cases, the experience was perfect. Special mention also goes to the magnificent, superbly maintained tiling, which adds even more charm to the place.

Giardino di Bacco Catania

14/05/2026: During our holiday in Sicily we stayed in both Palermo and Catania and had restaurant dinners every evening. We had wonderful food everywhere, but this restaurant was different in originality, quality and above all taste. Giardino di Bacco served us outstanding food [we had fish and vegetarian] and we enjoyed every single dish. It was definitely the best experience in Sicily! 11/05/2026: Excellent! I was won over by this seafood restaurant: the quality of the ingredients is excellent, each course is balanced in flavor and carefully presented. The staff is professional and helpful, always ready to offer advice without being intrusive. The location is welcoming and meticulously maintained, perfect for both a romantic dinner and a lunch with friends. Compliments to the chef and the entire staff—I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
