We were lucky to have this place right under our airbnb, it was so amazing we ended up eating there 3 nights in a row. seriously just good and true Sicilian food, cooked with love. Just make sure to finish it all or Mario will be mad and say mangiare. We love this restaurant though and will be back whenever we’re in catania again. Thank you Mario and the sweet waitresses !!

A wonderful place with excellent service. Delicious food – pesto pasta and tomato pasta – both delicious, and the house wine was inexpensive and delicious. The panacotta was amazing. Reasonable prices and a very pleasant atmosphere, created by the owners and their excellent rapport with their guests. I only missed a bit of Italian hustle and bustle – although when the restaurant was full, there was no music – especially Italian music. The complementary trattoria atmosphere didn't bother me, but when it emptied out, the silence became oppressive. Two pastas, a bottle of wine, two desserts, and two appetizers, plus coperto = 41 euros.

A wonderful Italian restaurant with a family atmosphere and EXTREMELY delicious food. It's a shame to leave the table. Both the waitress and the owner are very friendly and willing to help you choose the right dishes. I highly recommend this place!

21/04/2026: Delicious food in a nice restaurant right in the heart of Catania. A welcome respite from the crowded streets full of tourists and local vendors selling jewelry and trinkets. The service was very friendly and helpful, the food was fantastic, and the prices were reasonable. We had the antipasti (bruschetta with beetroot, prosciutto, and sun-dried tomato) and Pasta Di Norma – I don't think any comment is necessary (the last photo describes how delicious it was). 😀
19/04/2026: Excellent food, a very atmospheric place with loud music and a lively atmosphere. I recommend visiting the underground caves.
