04/07/2025: On the advice of our friends we went to the Pirandello restaurant after visiting the Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino museum a few hundred meters away. The two owners were very welcoming and good company. The food was all delicious, the first courses were enormous, there must have been 150/200 grams of pasta, excellent and with quality sauce.

04/07/2025: With the family we went to lunch at this restaurant following the other reviews and we did very well. Typical Sicilian dishes excellently cooked at low prices. Definitely abundant portions and exquisitely hospitable staff.

10/06/2025: I went on purpose because I follow the Cafè on social media. In my Marsala, bars with vegan options are chimeras. I went because I can finally choose plant-based food in a café without giving up taste and deliciousness. We ate two desserts (salted peanuts/pistachio) PHENOMENAL!!!! A daydream. I will return to taste the savory dishes and cakes too. Thank you for existing!❤️

21/06/2025: Tavern-style, shared table, daily specials, cheap, delicious, and VERY good service. The best option for an authentic traditional Italian experience.

26/05/2025: A real family-run tavern. Genuine food, traditional dishes, served in a very short time. The fixed menu formula (appetizer, first course, second course and side dish) is a winner. Highly recommended!

29/06/2025: Everything was very good. I'm torn between 4 and 5 stars because the spaghetti frutti di mare dish was really delicious and had plenty of mussels, clams, and squid... but €2 per person for a cover charge seems unnecessary (I think you can claim it according to EU law, but this time I decided to enjoy it without getting angry). We didn't go inside the restaurant, but we sat directly on the terrace (a section of sidewalk separated by low panels). It seems like a place with its own style and good food.

20/06/2025: Excellent food: caponata, Sicilian salad, anchovies and pasta, and the homemade dessert (tiramisu and canolata). All delicious. Professional and friendly service. We sat on the terrace and enjoyed a lovely after-dinner conversation, listening to Italian music and chatting with two of the sisters. We highly recommend this restaurant, located in beautiful Ortigia.

22/06/2025: I went to the place to have a poke, I think it was the best poke I've ever eaten, very good ingredients, the only flaw was the rice, then the service, the employee Alessandra was very helpful and fast, very good.

30/06/2025: The place has a minimal and modern style, well organized, the food is of remarkable quality: perfect frying, the first courses are a delicacy, the staff is kind and prepared and in the end the bill surprised me positively. Well done, being able to give this quality at the right price does you credit.

29/06/2025: The food was tasty, however nobody spoke English, therefore we had several misunderstandings. Also, they taxed us 2 euro per a small tablecloth for each person, without telling us they would do so beforehand. I come across such a thing for the first time in my life and I find it outrageous.

21/05/2025: I had real italian pizza for the first time. Very good food and a good restaurant.

25/05/2025: We call on a Saturday evening to find out if there is availability for 9 people, the guy answers yes even if a little hesitantly, as if I were making fun of him. We easily found parking and sat down shortly after our arrival. I ask to be able to order for the children, the waiter says to send me his colleague who however arrives after at least 15 minutes. We order, we receive half of the drinks ordered and, as soon as some potatoes arrive, we ask for the other drinks, but this time too the waiter turns a deaf ear and heads towards other tables that, although they arrived after us, were served first. Absent waiters, halfway through the dinner they warn us of missing products ordered (products such as raw ham, to be clear!) and, having ordered badly, they bring us a dish we did not order (we ask for roast potatoes and they bring grilled meat, calling it roast!) Reading the reviews we expected 5-star cuisine which unfortunately was only an illusion; good baked sausage, decent pork shank... Pinsa undefined, rubbery and with mozzarella piled up. The worst thing, however, was the waiting staff, while we were at the cash register the two boys rejoiced that we had gotten up, too bad that once caught they imitated some phantom TIC, something like that in a place like that is unacceptable. Advise the lady to review the staff from scratch The only positive note of the evening, the 1lt glass bottle of Coca Cola!

02/07/2025: recommended by a local friend, saying it's the best espresso here. But, I dont know why the barista tried to ignore me when I stood patiently at the bar waiting for him finished chatting with his friends. When I finally tried to greet him by saying Ciao, he pointed out one finger and implied that he needed a few moments. Although the espresso might be nice and only cost 1.2 euros, still I won't recommend this place to other foreigners..

27/06/2025: Best cappuccino i’ve had in a long time! Delicious and nice strong taste of espresso. Loved the stand up bar & the croissant as well. Very reasonable price for the coffees and pastries. Will be returning for our daily cappuccinos while in Palermo!

14/06/2025: Uno spettacolo! La location (una vista D’uomo che toglie il fiato), il personale( professionale, simpatico e super attento), il cibo (fantastico), hanno reso la nostra serata a Cefalù un sogno. Sicuramente lo consiglieremo!
