Caffe Degli Archi In Poggioreale

For May Day, my partner and I decided to take a motorcycle trip and ended up stopping at this bar for lunch! We couldn't have made a better choice!! Everything was truly special, from the food to the people...all fresh and local!! I would have added more stars if there had been! Thanks, and I hope to stop by again!!

Genuine people, like their food. Those old-fashioned, welcoming village bars. Very kind and smiling staff. What can I say...if you're passing through, definitely come here and you'll have a great time. Now, for this review, I'm even asking for a discount 🤣

Wow! Who would have thought that pasta with a pea puree and peas would be so delicious?The owner didn’t soak much English but communicated with friendliness and warmth. The Vacarro wine was excellent, I drank my husband’s, and we bought two bottles to go. Don’t forget to try the lemon granita on fresh fruit. You never what you’ll find off the beaten track.

What a great bar. We were cycling along the Sicily Divide and Daniele the owner greeted us warmly. We stopped for a coffee and a delicious homemade ice cream. A lovely, family run place in PoggioReale with a very welcoming feel. We can’t wait to visit again on our next trip!

The folks at Bar degli Archi were incredibly welcoming and affectionate with all of us, who were just coming back from a bike ride on the Sicily Divide. The pane cunzato, rustici, and granita were excellent!

Just like Mom used to make. The lovely Mrs. Enza prepared a delicious breaded schnitzel for us, topped with flavorful bratwurst. It came with a well-marinated salad and homemade bread. For dessert, she brought us a cup of fresh fruit and panna cotta cake. Thank you so much for the warm welcome. The staff and guests were very attentive. Come con la mamma. La signora Enza ci ha preparato un'ottima cotoletta impanata con altri bratwurst speziati. Inoltre, insalata ben marinata e pane fatto in casa. Per dessert, ci portò un'altra tazza di fresca e torta di panacotta. Thank you for the warm welcome. Il staffe e gli ospiti erano molto interessati a noi.

I stopped by with my friends for a quick lunch. I wasn't expecting such a warm welcome and hospitality. The owner was very helpful in explaining and sharing the history of the bar and the town itself. The food was incredibly delicious. We had some really good sandwiches, including one with sausage, which was AMAZING. Highly recommended. I'd go back.

We’ve thought we’d met the kindest people in Sicily a few times over our trip, but then we met Daniel and his mother who were by far the kindest we’ve met. Their genuine interest in our trip and generosity were above and beyond. Great food, great beer, and amazing people.
