I was hungry and just walked into the first restaurant I came across, not knowing what to order — even though I don’t really speak much Italian, they explained everything with such kindness. I still carry very fond memories of Modica. I’m not sure if I’ll have the chance to visit again, but I really felt enveloped in warmth. And it was so delicious that I ordered extra.

THE OWNERS! They're kind, polite, and very friendly. That alone is worth the visit, and they also have an excellent rotisserie. A round of applause for the schiacciata.

A gem, don't miss it. The sfocaccias are incredible, made there by the family, and at an unbeatable price. I highly recommend the eggplant one. Plus, they're so friendly; it was a pleasure talking to them.

Our favorite bar in Modica. Great espresso, delicious homemade food, always fresh. Angelo and his family are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were happy to have found such a truly Italian bar in the rather touristy town of Modica. Thank you so much for everything ❤️ 🇮🇹

Went in by mistake and got a very nice surprise inside. The gentleman inside explained he does only one thing in there for many years and you can definitely feel he does one thing but very well. We tried one of the pastries with salciccia and ricotta. Unfortunately we didnt take more and everything was sold out 2h after. Highly recoomended tavola calda!!

20/05/2026: I finally got to eat pizza at the new restaurant in this beautiful location, with its Italian-regional Campania style and, at the same time, the originality of the PIZZA setting. Immersed in this fantastic atmosphere, you find yourself directly in front of the open kitchen, where you can watch every stage of pizza preparation. The service is impeccable (Turki is very friendly), the menu offers a wide selection of pizzas from Campania and our region, and the fried foods are excellent. I almost forgot, while you wait, you can enjoy a delicious aperitif while sitting comfortably at the counter. TOP food... TOP service... TOP atmosphere... Want to enjoy a delicious pizza, somewhere between "authentic Neapolitan" and "contemporary"? You've come to the right place. In the heart of the historic center, this small restaurant is located on the corner of Via Grimaldi and Piazza Principe di Napoli. Between pizza and fried foods, you can enjoy a slice of Campanian cuisine. Don't focus on the service or the table setting; let yourself be inspired by the flexibility of the staff. I assure you, the kindness of the owners and the organization of the staff are not lacking.

15/06/2026: I returned to Ragusa for a trip after living away from this beautiful city for many years. A friend from London and I were looking for a place to have a special drink and enjoy an authentic, welcoming, and familiar atmosphere, reminiscent of London's best bars. Decanter was an extraordinary discovery! A simply stunning venue, meticulously crafted with attention to detail and a warm, engaging atmosphere. The cocktails are impeccably crafted, with great skill, creativity, and attention to quality. The food also won us over: everything is delicious, refined, and perfectly paired with the drinks. But the real highlight of the venue is the owners: friendly, cordial, professional, and incredibly hospitable. They make you feel at home from the first moment, creating an experience that goes far beyond a simple aperitif or dinner. A place that leaves a lasting impression and that I recommend without hesitation. If you're passing through Ragusa, Decanter is a must-see!

The place is welcoming, with an open kitchen and an excellent selection of quality products and ingredients, many of which are handcrafted. A must-visit in Ragusa for those who love good food and drink, and a pleasant evening in good company. Recommended!
