07/04/2025: Imagine how a Sicilian might feel when he discovers that he is intolerant to gluten, lactose and eggs. Forced to look at hot croissants, fragrant pastries and most pastries, practically only from afar. And instead, here's the surprise: with the "flavors of Badia" the Genoese ones are also gluten-free and lactose-free (even without eggs). Basically a blessing for intolerants and celiacs and the flavor is literally amazing! super welcoming place and extremely friendly and hospitable host. What can I say, an obligatory stop before a nice walk in Erice!

03/04/2025: I tried the chocolate and pistachio granita and it was a real treat! The consistency was perfect, creamy at the right point, and the flavors intense and well balanced. The chocolate was rich and enveloping, while the pistachio had an authentic and natural taste. I was particularly satisfied, one of the best granitas I've ever tasted! Absolutely worth trying. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

13/03/2025: A beautiful crossroad and a wonderfully historic set of buildings. They are a little worse for the wear, but have fabulous statues and detail that tells of past grandeur. Well worth the visit!

16/04/2025: We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Ortigia. The food and service are excellent. The restaurant was very well run with friendly but not obtrusive service. My baked Brie and honey starter was so good. We had beautiful tuna steak, cooked rare, tuna lasagne and mousses. Each dish was delicious. The restaurant was buzzing and not surprisingly very popular .

12/04/2025: Heerlijk gegeten. Als voorgerecht hadden we de bruscetta. Zooo lekker. En als hoofdgerecht had ik de octopus genomen die met een heerlijk sausje geserveerd werd. Top restaurant. Kan ik iedereen aanbevelen.

22/03/2025: Three first courses. Pasta alla norma, spaghetti with sea urchins, spaghetti with mazzara and bronte. Mixed fried food and caponata. House white wine. Everything very good and plentiful. Friendly staff, welcoming and characteristic environment. Honest bill. Worth it

14/01/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant after reading the positive comments and therefore left with fairly high expectations. Unfortunately I can't say that the experience was as we expected: when we arrived the restaurant with the internal garden was empty, we would have expected attentive service but instead, even with 3 waitresses, this was not the case. The food is certainly tasty but the dishes are certainly not balanced! The former gigantic and the latter paltry in quantity. I ordered the "stuffed calamari" (as indicated on the fish main menu) and only 1 arrived! According to my Italian (or even Sicilian) the expression "squid" in the plural suggests that there are at least 2 pieces! It is absurd to charge €19 for 1 stuffed squid without, among other things, a side dish included with this amount! it's the portion for a child.. Needless to say, we weren't even asked how it went.. they cleared the table without even asking if we wanted more.. we waited 20 minutes and, after no one showed up, we left to pay.. There was no one at the cash register.. when the lady with the POS came, as soon as the card was placed on the reader, she greeted us.. and nothing, in addition to being hungry we left with a bitter taste in the mouth for treatment (or rather no treatment) received. A real disappointment!! We do not recommend.
