19/12/2025: Rude service, very bad english, menu lacking basic information. Not only that, but food was burnt, slow. And they wouldn't split the bill..incompetent! When payed, complained and left. their reaction: Standing outside and laughing at us, showing fingers. What a shame!

29/10/2025: Great place, delicious food, excellent service. We arrive early in the afternoon. Other restaurants around were closed, ragtzi at the plaza told us about Ci Volera, we were really hungry and my pregnant wife needed to eat so we were lucky we arrived here. I ordered the sea food risotto and it was yummy and very generous. I think the owner took care of our order . It was a good experience in the beatiful Syracuse. Molto Gratzie señora.

26/10/2025: This small family restaurant deserves 5 stars! We went there two nights in a row: the welcome was warm and almost family-like. The menu is relatively short (but there's something for everyone) with 100% Italian ingredients and homemade dishes. The tiramisu is simply to die for... The woman who served us made us feel at ease; we really felt at home. Unfortunately, we weren't able to enjoy the sunset because the restaurant doesn't open until 7:30 pm and it was October, but the terrace certainly offers an exceptional view in summer.

17/12/2025: I discovered this excellent seafood restaurant by chance. The staff are friendly and the setting is stunning, with a terrace overlooking the sea. The seafood is excellent, with unique dishes and a good wine list. I recommend trying the Mazara red prawn tartar and the fresh pasta with lobster and cherry tomatoes, both excellent and more. Thank you, I'll be back again.

12/03/2026: Excellent deli and pastry shop. Try the delicious Sicilian cassata, cannoli, and ricotta ravioli.

23/02/2026: I went to eat yesterday, I had a vegan menu, everything was very good and the staff were kind, very beautiful farmhouse with lots of animals, recommended.

14/10/2025: Were there yesterday, had reserved via website 2 days in advance, no answer, then when we called it was clear they were only outside, it was ok. Service so-so, very inconsistent, the young waiter was very nice and helpful, when we asked why there was no reservation confirmation he said the email had probably ended up in the spam folder. When we ordered wine he said he only had one bottle left, but could give us a different wine, same winery, but cheaper. The food was very, very good, we only had to order the same thing each time, so one meat and one fish probably wouldn't work. But the food really was very, very fine. Unfortunately the kitchen seemed to have run out of energy at the Dolce. Once we got a tiramisu in a glass and once a cheesecake, better in every café, it was extremely unloving and very strange that everyone got something different. In conclusion: Yes, the food was very good, but nothing special, at 60 euros per menu I would have expected more, especially at the Dolce. No need to repeat it.

03/03/2026: We were highly recommended! An exceptional lunch with high-quality, ultra-fresh ingredients: the busiate pasta with sardines, a frionfo of gizzard, the pasta with shrimp, peas, and artichokes with a delicate buttata, the fresh and delicious fried cod, and the roasted octopus, which doesn't need fava bean purée to soften it, but the combination is definitely worth trying. If we return to Gibellina, this is a must-try!

28/09/2025: That was nothing! Since there are unfortunately mostly beach bars and almost no restaurants in Marinella, we chose this restaurant, partly because of its 4.6 rating. However, we can't understand the rating! The ambiance seemed cold, there was a strange vibe, and the service was very odd. When we got our pasta, we were initially disappointed by the small quantities. 5 ravioli for €15? That was a joke 😂 The "pasta alla norma" wasn't the original, but just pasta with eggplant (+ potatoes??). The original cheese was missing. Unfortunately, none of us were satisfied with the taste. Therefore, we don't recommend it...

23/03/2026: I had researched where to have my first lunch in Catania. Lovely swordfish and shrimp pasta washed down with half bottle of white wine. They gave me a free chocolate brownie pud after. Such hospitality. Busy and fresh seafood. Off the beaten track. Highly recommend
