28/04/2026: Tried it tonight for the first time, based on the (good) reviews, and I have to say we were very pleased. We had the aperipinsa with an Aperol Spritz and two beers. Everything was delicious: hot dishes, fresh cured meats and cheeses, and above all, the young man and woman who served us were very friendly and kind. I highly recommend it, well done 👏🏻

07/04/2026: I celebrated my birthday and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. We had the €12 aperitif pizza and everyone was satisfied. I don't have any photos because everyone devoured it right away. The waiters were very courteous and helpful, the only downside was the ambiance. We took up the entire gazebo outside, but there was a slightly awkward central pole with a platform that couldn't be ignored. We had to walk around half the room to find a spot to take photos with the cake. Other than that, the place is nice and they listened to all my requests. I enjoyed the food and will definitely be back.

11/04/2026: Too bad you can't give less than one star, otherwise I would have. We went to eat the "famous" couscous with fish. A total disappointment. They brought us a huge plate but with a small central base, so if you wanted to fill up on couscous, it was just an illusion. There was a bit of fish on top of this couscous that wasn't even separated well but all mushy, a bit of concentrated fish broth on the side to moisten the heart of the couscous. I expected much better, to tell the truth, the fish on top was mackerel for me and inside the couscous no other type of seafood. My stomach and palate refused to eat the rest after a couple of forkfuls, so I left it there, also because after asking the owner what fish was in it and having listed sea bream, grouper, scorpionfish, and the best fish, he told me that they make the broth with fish "carcasses"! According to this, I left half the portion inedible! A total disappointment and not at all cheap! A bottle of water and half a glass of wine cost a whopping €36! When I got home, I ate it again because I was hungry! Think about it! Before paying a fortune and eating badly, enjoy a cheap and much better street food pie! A waste of money.

09/04/2026: I had dinner at this restaurant with friends who recommended it to me, and I have to say I really enjoyed it. Elegant, sophisticated dishes with rich seafood flavors. Their couscous with broth is a must-try: exceptional 😍 The trio of appetizers is also excellent. Compliments to the owners.

04/06/2026: The place is small but welcoming, the food is really good and the price is fair (it's a rare find these days), the lampredotto is delicious, and the desserts are too. The owner is very humble and capable.

03/06/2026: If they put printed towels in the bathroom instead of wipes and answered you unintentionally when you asked "what are tobaccos" I would be really happy happy

09/11/2025: I went for the tasting, the wait was incredibly long, the portions were small, and a bottle of plain water cost 6 euros. We paid 45 euros per person. It's excessive, and we won't be returning.

20/05/2026: A fantastic find! A small, family-run restaurant. The welcome is very warm. Everything is homemade, and the dishes are authentic. You can start with a buffet of local, homemade dishes. Then, pasta or other hearty meals await you. I highly recommend it.

I spent a wonderful evening in this beautiful and welcoming restaurant, where, in addition to tasting exquisite, delicious, and anything but ordinary dishes, I savored an atmosphere of serenity, peace, and love. Highly recommended for any occasion, especially since the selection of natural wines on the menu is superb.

29/05/2026: On my first day in Palermo, I stopped here by chance, captivated by the modest sign: Ristorantino da Spanó. The food, the warm and immediate welcome, and the quality of the seafood were not modest, however. I had Mazara shrimp and grilled sea bass that I think I'll remember for the rest of my life. The restaurant is family-run, and you can sense the passion that translates into an immediate and spontaneous warmth. Highly recommended for those seeking authentic flavors and meticulous, attentive cuisine. The prices (in my opinion) are in line with the quality of the welcome and the ingredients. If you love seafood and a relaxed atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist trail, come here.

15/03/2026: An excellence that makes the difference. March 2026 An experience I've repeated many times. A place run admirably by the owners who make you want to return right away. The sandwiches are exquisite, plentiful and varied, the meat very tasty and perfectly grilled, the side dishes of all kinds...very flavorful. Even the vegetables and sweet sandwiches with Nutella. Very clean and well-organized, with a lot of courtesy, professionalism, and very short wait times, even on a Saturday night. Frequented by many families with children and teenagers. This special and traditional sandwich shop, run by Domenico and his wife, is a unique pleasure. The staff are friendly, fast, and always smiling. Parking is available and convenient. Prices are fair and more than honest. An excellence that makes the difference. Definitely try it if you're in Syracuse and the surrounding area. I'll be back very soon, Laura from Marsala.

19/04/2026: Even though we booked late, we found a table right away and were greeted by excellent, extremely helpful service. I absolutely recommend the pizza and their specialty pizzas, topped with excellent ingredients and a soft, light dough. You can also choose a dessert from their bakery after your pizza. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back.
