The location of Cantine Nicosia in Trecastagni is breathtaking: dining al fresco, surrounded by greenery at the foot of the volcano, is an experience worth the visit alone. The quality of the food served at the Osteria is unquestionable, as is the cellar's exceptional wine list (their Etna DOC is amazing).

A very beautiful and well-maintained establishment. The outdoor greenery, centuries-old olive trees, seating, and furnishings are impeccable. The dining room and waiters are very professional. However, I would advise the lady at the register to smile more when checking out.

We chose the tasting lunch for a graduation, and it was a truly excellent experience. Every course was meticulously prepared with quality ingredients and bursting with flavor. The service was impeccable, with friendly, attentive, and professional staff. Special thanks go to sommelier Chiara, who guided us through the food pairings with great expertise, passion, and helpfulness, making the tasting experience even more enjoyable. A sincere compliment also goes to waiter Danilo, always courteous, smiling, and attentive to our every need, making us feel welcomed from start to finish.
